Fetching a Random Opponent

After having an interesting conversation with her twitch subscribers, Jem made a beeline for LAW arena. She paced up and down the vast halls of the backstage area, scrolling through her phone. On it, she'd peruse the LAW roster while mumbling to herself.

Ok Random. I said random. How does one go about picking a girl at random?" As she passed by names like Thembi and Starring, she let her finger rest on the screen a moment to pause.

"I got it!" With that declaration, Jem would scroll all the way to the end of the roster page, which she had so alphabetically. "Got it! If I just choose the last person on the list, that's gotta be random enough!"

The blonde beauty would place her hands by her mouth before roaring out to everyone within earshot. "DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN FIND ZOEY HAMILTON?!"

Zoey had expected to just chill out in her locker room and watch some matches for practice, although truthfully she usually ended up just laughing at everyone's short comings and taking notes on what she could belittle about said wrestlers if she ever crossed paths with them. However the bluenette had long since had her peace interrupted, as a wrestler who shared her locker room reported that someone was on the look out for her, which originally she tried to ignore, but upon leaving her locker room to have a quick speech with her manager she would yet again be approached by some wrestlers she recognised who relayed the same story of a blonde woman looking for her.

No matter how much the Scot thought about it there was only one blonde woman who could be looking for her, and that would be the annoying little brat Charlotte Slater of the Jailbirds, someone who the bluenette didn't spend enough time with in their last encounter and really wanted to give the woman a thorough beating to put her in line. So with this in mind Zoey would start to explore the backstage area as well, pacing quickly from room to room, glaring at and linking eyes with a few wrestlers, some much bigger and bulkier than herself, although no matter who Zoey looked she couldn't find the feisty little prison bitch.

Zoey would have no idea that the woman seeking her out was just a blonde beauty who was streaming to her fans, and if she did then the Scot certainly wouldn't have went through the effort of humouring her likely soon to be acquaintance's search.

Jem would continue traversing the locker rooms and corridors backstage, asking the occasional passerby if they'd seen a Mss Zoey Hamilton. She was blissfully unaware of the exact type of individual she was in pursuit of. Without knowledge of Zoey's previous interactions with the Jailbirds, it hadn't occurred to the go-getter that the bluenette might believe someone else was out looking for her.

"Hmmm I've been asking people but....what-what does she look like, again?!" Jem said to herself as she pulled out her phone and began to check again. Hmmm, ok. Crazy blue hair...twin-tails hair....rather...eccentric? Man, that's gotta sound bad coming from me, haha."

Just as she was engaged in this conversation with herself, Holland would spot some blue in her peripheral vision as she walked past a random room. She'd point to the blue spec and realize that it was indeed the hair on the head of a lady. "Zoey! I've found you....or...errr Julia? If you're Julia Hiroshi, I think that works, too? Ah, I'm sure my fans will be cool with it!" She said with a smile as she made idle deliberations upon meeting the bluenette.

Zoey would be getting pretty warm to the idea of beating that little snivelling puppy into the ground, nothing appealing to the bluenette more than giving that blonde bitch even worse hazing than whatever she received in prison. However as the Scot was pacing through the corridors and blazing in and out of locker rooms she would finally hear a voice call her name, but it wasn't anything like the one she had expected. The nasty bluenette would slowly turn around to look at Jem, who seemed about as unsure if Zoey was her search target as Zoey herself was when Jem mentioned another name.

The bluenette would point to herself for a second, giving the blonde a slightly disappointing look as she quickly realised it had probably been this woman seeking her out. " Uhm yeah I'm Zoey, not...Julia Hiroishi or whatever you said " The Hamilton's oldest sibling would respond, being more confident in the name she had just heard in her head before realising she hadn't paid enough attention to repeat it. " So? What do you want blondie? " Zoey would say, being too surprised by the sudden development to be as rude as she normally would, and being slightly on edge due to her opponent's wacky hairstyle and unique attire that left a lot for Zoey to look at on the opponent's chest.

Jem would approach Zoey as the bluenette inquired about what she wanted. She smiled and looked Zoey in the eye expectantly before stating her business.

"Ok! So here's the deal!" Jem started off with an excited tone. "I wrestle here but I also stream video games! My fan base isn't anything like Asuka Hisashi's, but I've definitely got a few hundred regular, loyal, donating fans!" She stated in a slightly more serious tone before raising a finger for her next point.

"Now I know what you're thinking! 'So what?! Beat it, chick! That's got nothin' to do wit meeee', right?!" Jem said as she offered her comical Zoey impression despite only just having met the girl.

"Well those fans are gonna pay money and get more fans to subscribe if I keep giving them content they want!" As she got closer to her actual point, she got even closer to Zoey and placed her hands on the girl's shoulders. "And what they want is to see me in a Smother Match at my apartment! Soooooooo, come to my house and fight me? Pretty please?"

Zoey would sense something fishy as soon as Jen's eyes lit up and the odd looking woman's eyes seemed glued to the Scot's own. Then Zoey would listen with an unusual amount of respect and caring, her new acquaintances new disposition catching her eyes enough that she actually payed attention to her business. Jem surprisingly guessed exactly what Zoey was thinking, but yet adding on a silly accent that irritated the bluenette and then continued to talk, starting to get on the Scot's bad side, which admittedly wasn't a hard thing to do.

Then she heard something about the content the fans wanted, that seemed funny to her as someone who was at odds with the fans. It seemed a better opportunity to piss of the fans would never present itself and so Zoey would finally respond after the blonde was finished explaining. " Sooo...They want you to find someone, take them to your apartment and then they will watch as said person smothers you out? Great fans " Zoey would say, before continuing on without giving her potential business associate a chance to interrupt.

" So, how about if I win I get 3000 yen. I need a new blender, seeing such an unbelievably large tool has inspired me to upgrade. " Zoey would continue, already losing her respectfulness not a minute after she had been patiently listening to Jem. Regardless of if she was going about asking for a reward quite rudely it still made sense in Zoey's mind, afterall Jem was getting more subscribes and more money, it only seemed fair Zoey be compensated for it. Even if Zoey planned to humiliate Jem in front of her fans to such an extent that the satisfaction of doing so would likely be equal to a fairly large pay check.

"Heeyyyy! Some of those fans are really cool peeps!"

Jem asserted in reaction to the more sarcastic-sounding part of Zoey's response. Regardless, she was still practically overjoyed to hear her new blue haired acquaintance take her up on her offer for the match. She'd jump up once excitedly before calming down and trying to hash out the details with eldest Hamilton sister.

Yipiieee! Thanks, Zoey! And Oh! if all you want is a blender, win or lose, I'll buy you one after! We can shop for it together online since we'll be in front of my computer, anyways. I'll cover for you. You might not be too crazy about my fans, but they pay pretty well. My LAW income is actually only my second highest, second to my income garnering donations and sponsors as a streamer!"

Jem hadn't even considered that Zoey might get off on smothering the consciousness our of her on live stream in front of hundreds or thousands. As far as she was aware, the arrangements had been made and all was set for the two to throw down. She'd reach for Zoey's hand and begin guiding her towards the nearest exit.

"So does that cover everything? If it does, we're gonna have a ton of fun! You can even stay the night! The blender should arrive in the morning if we do next day shipping!"

Zoey would give Jem a slightly condescending look as she claimed that some of the fans were cool people, it was a silly enough idea to almost make Zoey laugh, but she managed to hold in her hilarity in as she watched her future opponent's energetic response to her agreement. The bluenette's outlook on the match would change though as Jem promised to outright buy her the blender if she had a match, which made it more than worthwhile since it would just be a fun simple affair anyway.

Before Zoey could respond to Jem though the blonde would suddenly grasp the bluenette's hand, pulling her towards the closest exit as she dragged the surprised Scot in what she could only assume was the direction towards Jem's living space. No amount of surprise or surprisingly tight grip could silence the feisty Scot though. " Just out of curiosity, what kind of streaming do you do? For you to get that much surely it's...something dirty right? " Zoey would ask, not quite wanting to say her thoughts aloud but likely getting her question across anyway.

Jem was too excited to take note of her new blue haired friend's possible reluctance whilst she was tugging at her. She continued making her way for the exit whilst grasping Zoey's hand with her own. The sight of the two holding hands and making their leave would definitely make them look closer than they appeared to be. Hamilton's question didn't seem to halt her advance.

"Dirty?" The blonde questioned. "Well it's mostly dedicated to video games. But I'd be lying if I said there weren't fan service elements. Oh! Speaking of which! We should go the extra mile for the fans! We'll do multiple falls! Each time one of us gets smothered out, the winner of the fall will remove an article of clothing from the loser. I know you'll be down for it cause I only really have like one or two articles of clothing to begin with! So it'll be even more fun!" As Jem finished up her explanation and offer, the two neared the exit. Still smiling and eager as ever, the young streamer looked back at Zoey and made eye contact, eagerly awaiting her ok so that the two could make their way back to her place.

Zoey was used to people being appalled by her more rude comments and would be somewhat surprised when Jem answered it with at first a slight bit of confusion and then honesty, which seemed to undermine the bluenette's attempts to mock her foe. The bluenette would also be somewhat embarrassed by some leering eyes as she was dragged hand to hand towards the beauties destination. " Well there's no way I'd say no to that since you're basically handicapping yourself, if you just want to get your ass handed to you by me then I'd be alright with that too if you want to skip the whole competitive match charade." Zoey would respond, fighting a mental battle within herself to continue her trash talking as Jem's eyes seemed glued to her, likely waiting for an answer which the bluenette had given in a round about way.

" Yeah sure, lets do that " Zoey would quickly say, just to make it clear that it was acceptable for Jem to continue dragging her towards her abode.
