By then, her nails had already dug into her fist a bit, trying not to burst from the fear. She knew Renee wouldn't stop questioning her brother, so she had to think of something without looking like she was trying to change the subject. She had to make it subtle, but still be related to her questioning.

She wanted to hit her; she really did. She could barely even hold herself back, only blocking her way inside her locker room.
