Re: Forged in Fire (Himeko and Hikari)

Oh wow, so there's an actual brain in there. At least Hikari wasn't completely ignorant of the hypocrisy, though her still clinging to it was annoying. And the sight of her just barely contained rage was... actually surprisingly. Did the Princess really cut a nerve with her response? She had to admit there was a little bit of respect with the girl's pragmatism in joining LAW despite its reputation, Himeko was of the same mind in that along with trying to fight with some degree of decorum.

But...

"Yeah, I'm the toxic one." She barely met Hikari's gave, focusing on the picking the lock of her handcuffs. "You drag our fight out of the ring and I'm the toxic one." She could hear a small click from the lock. One tumbler down. "You're more than happy to brawl it out in the middle of the crowd, and I'm the toxic one." Another click, and this time she felt the cuffs loosen and start to pop open. "Nakano," She finally turned her gave to Hikari, meeting the Scion's steel gaze with her own. "I've got plenty of reasons to judge you, hypocrite." She spat out. "You wanna' show people what 'real' wrestling is? I hear that shit a lot from people like you." She rubbed her wrist, moving her fingers to get a feel for her hand.

"Hell, it came out of my mouth when I signed the forms to be here. 'I'm gonna' show these wannabe idols and hair-pulling catfighters a how real fighter goes in the ring.' Something like that anyway." She rolled her shoulder. "But unlike Nanana I don't do sex shows in the ring, and unlike the runt in our group I don't try to turn every match into one. So I have to fight people like you that know how to fight, have a decent background of experience, but can't handle a real opponent without shit like this happening."

Re: Forged in Fire (Himeko and Hikari)

The steely gazes locked between the two lightweights could have bisected any poor soul that walked between the two at this moment. Words and time alone together and seemed to only make tensions between the two worse to the point that Hikari wanted to deck the girl across from her even more so than in their match. As Himeko spoke on though that desire only grew and grew, every word out of the girl's mouth adding fuel to Hikari's flames.

But what really got Hikari was two things. One being that Himeko had the absolute GALL to call her a hypocrite of all things. If there was one thing Hikari was, honorable. It was a defining aspect to herself. So for this girl across from her to not only question it, but to trounce it all together by implying she brawled with the brunette to get them dqed on purpose, or that she would do so again, was nothing but the highest insult towards her that she wouldn't let stand. However the other thing that got her, specifically to start yanking her arm, banging the hand cuffs against the bench in a vain attempt to yank it free, was the fact that Himeko had picked the locks of her own cuffs.

"You know.. I think I've figured you out.." Hikari hissed in a dangerous whisper while glaring up at Himeko's eyes. "You have no care. No respect. No ideals that I can see." She said her soft tone gradually raising in volume and intensity.

"You're just a battle fiend, serving you're own pleasure. You dare lecture me for my honor, for what my goals are and my intentions... dare to call me a hypocrite.. yet at least I DO stand for something more than myself. Judging by the way you speak of the people in you're own group no less. I can tell the same doesn't apply to you." She said anger now boiling over in every syllable that left her mouth while looking defiantly up. "For those reasons I'll fight you any day.. any time.. so bring it!" Hikari snapped up suddenly standing up despite being cuffed to the bench still, refusing to be looked down on by Himeko any further.

Himeko's eyes glanced over at Hikari's wrist, watching the woman's hand and arm stop just being able to move and likely touch Himeko. Her eyes narrowed at first, forced to endure Hikari's heated words and anger. But then... her gaze turned to a neutral expression. "... ... ..." She was serious. The assumption of Himeko aside, Hikari really looked ready to start throwing down right her, right now, cuffs and all. It was... honestly kind of cute in a way. Like an upstart trying to look big and tall in front of a superior and show some teeth. "Heh," Well, I can't really back down from that, now can I? Himeko's eyes met Hikari's for a moment, then darted past her, behind her. Then, she rose a hand in a dismissive wave. A security guard behind the two was starting to glance their way.

"She's just antsy,"

The security guard gave a short look at the scene, then went back to his office work. Himeko only rolled her eyes, looking back at Hikari. "You're just barely holding back from trying to break those cuffs with sheer force, pointlessly by the way, just to deck me. And I'm the battle fiend?" She paused, letting the question hang. "Heel, pup. Or are you barking so the boys in blue give me cuffs that take more than 30 seconds to crack?" She let out a huff, leaning back in the bench.

"But alright, you're on."

Himeko twirled the hairpin within her fingers, taking a much more comfortable position in the bench now that her cuffs were off. "And even I'll throw you a bone and do this the same way the runt does it. Gimme' a time, place, and the conditions." She waved her hairpin in front of Hikari's face. "Hell, I'll crack your cuffs too if you really wanna' get this over with. So go on. You ran your mouth about wanting do things on your terms, your way, so... what are your terms?"

Hikari continued to glare at the girl across from her. Equally ready to meet her word for word again or fist to fist should it come to that. Luckily it didn't, instead the girl made a statement that confused Hikari for half a second before it snapped to her realization that they were still within observation of the security guards. Cursing slightly she looked over her shoulder to see the guard that had taken a interest in the commotion between the two and gave a slight nod in response to show that she was cool.

Glaring back over at Himeko the dark haired girl chose to ignore the Brunette's quip and instead focus on what else she was saying. Luckily Hikari's words seemed to spark the other lightweight's fighting spirit who was now asking exactly what she had in mind. Narrowing her eyes slightly it became apparent by the ever so slight grin that came across Hikari's face that she had a idea off the top of her head. One that would be perfect for the two to settle their little feud.

"Right now." Hikari said first off in a tone as blunt as a hammer hitting a anvil. "You and me out in that empty ring. No rules. No stipulations. No gimmicks. Just us beating eachother until one either calls it quits or can't get up." As she finished her declaration of war Hikari would then raise her hand up which was bound by the handcuff. "So hurry up and uncuff me so I can shut you up for good." She said in the same steely tone and expression, the prospect of resuming where they left off causing her mind to sharpen and her competitive spirt to start burning.

Himeko was silent, eyes narrowed as she watched Hikari's lips twitch to a smirk. Apparently it didn't take long for her to think of an idea for their rematch. And the idea in question...

"Pft-"

Made Himeko cracked a smile. Hell, it nearly got a laugh out of her. An all-or-nothing brawl in an empty ring. That was right up her alley. Lonely brawls with only her and some hotshot upstart was a normal occurrence back in her high school days. She even settled a few issues at her dojo that way too. And the chance to punch this brat's face in was all but welcomed. But... it felt so odd coming out of this girl that was going on about honor, family, and tradition not two minutes.

No, it was damn hilarious.

Hikari's eagerness to fight took her back, to the loud upstarts she beat down back in high school, to the rising gangs she tamed while patrolling Tokyo, to just... letting some hothead in her own group try to take a few swings at her to get them to calm down. This girl was the spitting image of a would-be yakuza upstart. Contradictions and all. "Y'know Nakano," She said, moving her hairpin into Hikari's cuffs, picking away at the lock. "You could had just said you wanted a punch-out sooner. Save us the foreplay." Click. "Anyway, the guard's turned around, so as long as you keep that pretty mouth quiet when I crack these, we can leave whenever."

Hikari continued to keep her eyes locked on her former and now soon to be opponent once again. As the girl went to work on her cuffs Hikari would tsk at what she was saying, not at all phased by the girl's attempts to be snide. But that being said the small smirk on her face remained, after all, she was just looking forward to shutting the arrogant girl up with force.

It wasn't often that she got this angry to wanting a no hold barred fight, let alone one in a empty ring of all places. In fact to date the only match where she had fought with no disqualifications in place was during her stint in the indies against a rival that was upset a rookie such as herself had defeated her. The girl's attempt at getting back at her being to go after her uncle and insult him... something that everyone found to be a mistake as said girl had to be taken by EMS after their bout.

As the brunette worked on her cuffs Hikari would casually flex and unflex her knuckles in preparation. This girl had questioned basically everything about her and pushed her constantly, so Hikari was looking forward to the *punch out* as Himeko had described it. One thing that did catch her attention however was the last thing the woman said. "I thought I made it clear before.. not interested in a relationship with you." She said snarkily, knowing full well the reaction it would get. Then the moment the cuffs were undone she would shoot to her feet, eyes locked on Himeko. "Lets hurry and go then." She said in a deathly whisper as she would turn and start to head back towards the ring.

"Phew..." For some reason it took a moment longer to finish undoing Hikari's cuffs. Maybe it was because she was pulling at them more than Himeko, maybe it was because the locks were a little different, but... they were done, and Hikari felt like getting one last line of snark out before standing up. And Himeko only rolled her eyes.

"Yeah yeah, and every other girl I've knocked out in a brawl sent me a love letter a week later." She shot back, placing her hairpin back in her hair. Actually... as much a quip as it was, Himeko did have a habit of getting a few admirers after a beatdown for some reason. "Huh..." Himeko glanced back, noting the guard still turned and focused on other things. It was now her never.

Himeko quietly walked ahead, opening the door and seeing Nanase waiting outside.

"My, that was fast."

"Yeah, me and Nakano are gonna' have a quick rematch now that the ring's emptying out. Business as usual."

Nanase looked perplexed. "But I-"

"Not you, Nanana." Shit, this was gonna' be confusing. "Anyway, guard the entrance for me, will ya'? I don't want anymore guards breaking us up."

"Hai hai, Hime-sama~"
