Jessica heard what Deanna had said to her, but it hardly registered. Her mind was too far gone in wrestling mode that she could not think of any words that she wanted to launch at her opponent. The only thing that she truly wanted was to knock out Deanna for suggesting that she couldn't achieve her most over-arching dream.

Deanna was slumping down to the ground now under the force of Jessica's blows, and she snarled. Unfortunately for Jessica, Deanna also popped right back up and sent a flurry of punches at her. What they lacked in technique, they more than made up for in intensity as Jessica felt their impact on her skin. "Whoa!" She shouted as she brought her arms up to defend her body. Her back hit the box once more, telling her that she had nowhere she could dodge to.

So that meant her only chance to break out was to break through. Jessica slowly brought her defenses lower and lower until she was low enough to launch a powerful uppercut into Deanna's jaw. She was a strong brawler, which meant that she brought the blow upwards with terrible power.

The blows weren't precise, but they did the trick. Each one was putting Wright more and more on the defensive as Deanna fought back furiously. She had heard a lot about Jessica Wright, and she knew if she wanted a chance she would need to keep going at her. But at the moment, it didn't exactly seem like she was the fury that she was described as. At least not as far as Deanna's fists were concerned.

"Nothing smart to say now!?" yelled Duncan as she made Jessica hunch down far more, and then in an instant, she felt the uppercut rocket directly into her chin! The Diamond nearly flew off her feet from the single strike, the immense pain in her jaw almost immediate, as she fell straight onto her back. She couldn't even react immediately as she laid there, hand vaguely moving towards her chin as she was waylaid with the strike. At least immediately, Deanna was barely coming to grips with what exactly just happened, let alone how to get back into the brawl.

Jessica's blow hit home with intense force. There were a few times in her life where she had lifted her opponent off the floor with the power of an uppercut, and she was nothing short of delighted when she saw Deanna's feet leave the earth. It was as if the flurries had never happened. But soon that feeling of delight turned back into fury. The reason that this whole brouhaha started in the first place because Deanna said that Jessica couldn't win the title, and she had to show the grey haired girl that she had the chops to rise to the top.

Her best way to get there was to show just how brutal she could be. She turned and grabbed the box that she had just been backed into and lifted it from the stand. Something metal sounded was clinking inside, but she did not bother to find out exactly what it was. The Violent Violet was content to just throw a heavy thing at the head of her opponent.

Deanna had been knocked silly with that single strike. It was perfectly placed and did exactly what it was meant to do. And as Duncan massaged her chin, she cringed in pain, her mind catching up with the strike. She wasn't nearly the practiced brawler Jessica had been, and she had let her emotions drive her this far, but it was clear Wright was the better striker of the two. And as Deanna began to stir, she kept a hand on her chin and began to sit up, face wincing from the after effects of the strike. But then, her eyes widened as she saw that Jessica was about to throw a box at her!

The best that Duncan would do desperately roll out of the way as the heavy object came for her head! Her heart pounded as she listened to it crash on the ground beside her! Jessica was serious about this, and so she scrambled to a kneeling position in front of Wright, beginning to lay frantic punches and forearms to Jessica's midsection and back, hoping to try slowing her down or land a hit that would stop her in her tracks at this point!

Jessica cringed as she heard the sound of the box slamming onto the floor. Not because the sound was a particularly harsh one, although she could not deny that it was unpleasant. Rather, she grimaced because she was not able to knock her opponent out in one swoop. With Deanna's statement that she would never be the champion still ringing in her ears, she stood upright once more as her mind churned with all of the different ways that she could silence this upstart.

But Deanna seized the initiative. She got halfway up, and launched a series of blows toward her gut. The first one slammed into her taut abs, but given how immobile Deanna's position was, she quickly danced out of range. Then her mind found a unique solution to the fact that Deanna was still awake. She rushed forward, braving the punches, and jumped in the air. Deanna was the perfect high to catch a knee right to the face, something that made Jessica's cringe turn into a wide smile.
