Rockin' Around the Christmas Ring: Chris Yukine vs Ishtar Vasiliev

Match Type: Snow Match
Competitors will try to endure frigid temperatures and snowy floor as they fight, and are allowed to stuff snow into each other's clothing. Winner is decided when someone surrenders and admits to being too cold

Chris was a little skeptical about entering another gimmick match after her near complete decimation in a mud match with her hated rival. But she knew that was a fluke so what was the harm of entering another one? Besides, it was a match themed after Christmas. She hadn't really celebrated the holiday in a very long time, the crowd pleaser in Chris wanted to put on a great show for them. Plus, if nothing else, adding to her wins was always a good thing. And it being another middleweight, her third one out of her four different opponents - note for later, try to get more matches in her weightclass - would especially be good.

Her theme began, but it wasn't the same as normal. It was the same song, but the girl who came out in her Santa-themed attire, the woman whose hair was the same hue as the snowy floor she would soon fight on, had a trumpet in her mouth and was playing it along to the song's vocals. It was the most Christmas instrument she had any experience with, and she wanted to be as festive as she could. Aaaaand she may have broken her guitar in a show the other night, but shhh.

She paused now and again, giving fist bumps and highfives to the audience where she found a break in the song to. And when she reached the ring, she halted her playing to slip between the ropes and run to the farthest turnbuckle, pushing all her energy into one last blast of her chorus. And when the song ended, she threw up her free hand and it's devil horns for the crowd. "PUT YOUR HANDS UP! LET'S GET JOLLY!!!" She cried to the crowd, receiving many cheers for her live performance and energy. The rockstsr then hopped down, and waited for her Russian opponent to take the stage and make her presence known.

Ishtar Vasiliev was hyped up for this snow match. She enjoyed her fair share of gimmicks that could make a match more entertaining, and something like this for a Christmas theme got Ishtar really excited. She loved Christmas, she loved snow, and she loved wrestling. Now all she had to do to make this a perfect night was fulfill her love on winning.

Ishtar's Theme: A Mad Russian's Christmas

Anyone who followed Ishtar would quickly notice that this was a different song than her usual intro of ACDC's Thunderstruck, but Ishtar felt that picking a song for the occasion was fitting. The song had a constant feeling of being off. But that was intentional, and it was damn good. Eerie and aggressive renditions of beloved Christmas songs that just put you on edge. Ishtar thundered towards the ring to the track in her Christmas themed attire.

Ishtar entered the ring and went to her corner, handing off her Santa cape and sleigh bell ribbon off to one of the staff. Then she turned to her opponent, "So Chris," Ishtar said, looking at her as she bent over to pick some snow off the ground. She then took the snow and pressed it to her bare stomach, "Think you can stand up to the cold tolerance of a Russian?" She would hold the snow there, her face not reacting at all, before letting it fall back down to the mat.

Chris was at first surprised. Not because of the confidence the Russian was showing, coming in basically only wearing a Christmas themed set of underwear. But rather that she was allowed to change her theme for the festive match. If she had know that she'd have tried to change it to a Mannheim Steamroller song, or maybe a Straight no Chaser. Well, she'd know for next year and possibly any other future holidays.

As the ring attendant took the Russian's cape and ribbon, she handed her hat and ear muffle off. Though the display of placing the snow right against her bare abs was impressive, Chris didn't show any signs of interest. "Thanks for the worries, but I'll be fine." She cracked her neck, shaking her limbs one at a time to limber up. "A rock star's soul can blaze past even the thickest glaciers. So just worry about yourself, Ishtar." Once she was done, Chris widened her stance, ready for their match to begin.

Ishtar's display didn't seem to have much of an effect on Chris, who gave off a lot of energy and confidence. The bell rang, and now the match was on. Ishtar came out at Chris, wanting to get this match down to the snow quickly. She didn't know much about her opponent, but Ishtar felt that it was safe to assume that Chris would be weaker but faster than herself. So like a lot of her fights, a big part of this one would come down to if Ishtar could get her hands on her opponent.

Ishtar had a strategy to help with this. Since simply forcing Chris's body to touch the ground would have more value than in a standard match, Ishtar would try to push or shove Chris down into the snow instead of trying to grab her. If this worked, then Ishtar would start trying to grab, going for an ankle lock on Chris.

Ishtar was charging right out of the gates, which Chris was expecting. The match needed one of them to be grounded, so normal wrestling tactics while useful wouldn't necessarily give one an advantage over the other. The Russian had size, power, and her nationality's famous tolerance on her side, and the rock star had speed and her indomitable soul. So with that in mind she had to be sure she wasn't the first to meet the cold below.

With her inner monolog through, her rival would try to shiver her down like a playground bully would. Though Chris would take a step back, proving she wouldn't be so easy to catch off guard, and turned to run and rebound off the ropes behind her. If Ishtar let her be, the rockstar would come back full speed and attempt to hit the middleweight with a running crossbody to knock her over instead. And to follow up, if all went as she wanted it to, she'd just try to turn her over and start shoveling snow onto her lower back.

When Ishtar tried to run Chris down and force her into the snow, the lightweight wisely chose to use her speed to evade the attempt. Chris ran away from Ishtar to the ropes, which she bounced off of and came back at Ishtar with a crossbody. Ishtar tried to tank the attack and catch Chris, but her speed generated enough power to push Ishtar off balance and knock her down.

"Haa!" Even Ishtar felt the jolt of cold shoot through her when the snow first touched her bare skin, but once the initial shock had passed, she was fine. Chris tried to roll Ishtar onto her stomach, but Ishtar was not going to let her. Pushing back against Chris, Ishtar would try to roll her over so that she was on top, and Chris's back was pinned to the snowy floor. "Even if pins don't count, they're still pretty good."

Things seemed to be going in the rocker's favor as her body toppled Ishtar, even getting a nice little surprised yelp from her bare back hitting the frigid ground. But that was where the positives ended. While Chris hoped to roll her over, the Russian adjusted much faster than she wanted. Instead of her rival being right against the snow, now Chris found herself the one on bottom, with her shoulders, thighs and neck pressed against the ground.

"Yyeeeeeeee-is is n-nothing." She shivered out, hopefully covering the little yelp from the contact with the powdery ice. She was now in a precarious position, with the bigger woman pinning her down. She could squirm and try to break free, but that would probably only amount to getting some snow in her top. Her options were limited, and there was one that might just give her an advantage.

"P-pinning may be s-smart." She started to squirm, hopefully keeping Ishtar focused on her rather than her hands that clawed at the snow. "Bu-but-t-t so's th-th-his!" With two handfuls of snow, the rockstar would try and take offense. One hand would shove into the Russian's face, hoping to blind her while her second tried to shove the white powder into her cleavage. If that worked she'd attempt to escape and get back up, a bit too eager to get her skin away from cold ring.

As Ishtar had expected, she managed to outmuscle Chris and get on top of her even from a disadvantageous position. Even if the rock star tried to hide it, it was still obvious that she was feeling the snow against her body as she was pressed down into the floor. But Chris was able to get creative in her escape, chucking a handful of snow in Ishtar's face and then shoving another into her tits.

"Ah!" Ishtar yelped as she fell back and off of Chris, allowing her to escape. Ishtar was quick to get up as well as she wiped the snow off of her face. She then pulled the bottom of her bra up and pulled apart the bottom of her breasts apart, allowing most of the snow stuffed in her chest to fall through her cleavage back to the floor. "Believe it or not, my limited attire isn't just me showing off," said Ishtar as she pulled her top back down.

Ishtar would go back on the offensive, once again coming in hot at Chris. Once she got close enough, Ishtar would kick up snow at Chris to distract her, then try to knock her down hard with a shoulder tackle. If she was successful, Ishtar would then try to flip Chris onto her stomach and lock her into a camel clutch, bending her back and neck while giving her stomach a nice chill.

Chris had to think out her actions. She had gotten Ishtar down, but the situation had been reversed a lot quicker than she expected. She was quick to act and escape, but even then it was only a momentary discomfort for her opponent. How she could stand snow pressed between her breasts so calmly was beyond the rock star. But there had to be something she could do to make her shiver at least.

"Oh really? And what, pray tell, would that reason be?" She calmly asked as the Russian reset her top into place and Chris, having looked away with a tiny blush as Ishtar got the snow out of her cleavage, finally remade eye contact.

Soon Ishtar was on the move again, Chris preparing to dodge another playground move only to be blinded by the kicked up powder. She quickly wiped her face clean, only to get run over as Ishtar's should slammed her down. "Argh!" She cried, her shoulders and neck once more feeling the frigid mat below. "F-f-f-f-f-fuuuckkkk." She briefly shivered as she tried to bet back up.

But the Russian didn't allow so, quickly turning Chris over, hooking her arms over her legs and hands under her chin, and pulling back for a camel clutch. Her stomach pressed down into the snow, but thankfully it wasn't as bad as her shoulders and neck had felt due to her attire providing some protection. Not a lot, but her stomach was feeling a lot better than her neck and back were. "G-god fucking.. L-let g-g-g-goo!!"

Ishtar's snowy distraction worked, putting the brakes on the speedy rock star and setting her up to get knocked down by Ishtar's shoulder. Then from that position, it was simple for her to get on Chris's back and lock in the first submission hold of the match. A camel clutch that very quickly had her opponent reeling from both cold and pain.

"To answer your question, began Ishtar. "The thing bout could that really gets you is extended exposure. Sure a snowball to the face stings, but cold damage over time is the killer. As you saw, my outfit makes it easy to get snow off my body. While with an outfit like yours, the snow gets stuck and builds up. Like so."

To demonstrate her point, Ishtar pulled one hand away from her camel clutch and used it to grab some snow. then proceeded to stuff it into Chris's chest. Ishtar grabbed more snow, but the size of Chris's breasts made it hard for Ishtar to get the snow down past her cleavage. "Oh ho, that is evil, said Ishtar as a solution to her problem came to mind.

Ishtar released Chris's head and instead started grabbing the rocker's chest, switching from a camel clutch to a breast clutch. She then started shaking Chris's chest up and down to shake the snow further down into her outfit, with the grip Ishtar had on Chris's chest also serving to press the snow down into her breasts and make them even colder.
