Larum Douglas vs Miranda Tomi - The Big Dance

Standard Match Rules

Another dancer had arrived, and not too soon after she had signed the dotted line had they decided to put the two of them together for a match. It was easy to see why and so while Miranda had no idea what she was up against, something that would normally have red flags going off in her head she was happy to get a match again to show off how she had improved since her earlier days. Once again out in her dancing attire Mira was in full swing shaking her hips and radiating smiles to the crowd that appreciated each little turn of her body with her dancing.

She made it all the way down to the ring dancing and gave a wink to the camera to show she appreciated the crowd at home watching just as much before sliding into the ring and taking her place in it. She knew that doing so right before a match tended to make veterans roll their eyes at the measures she was taking not to conserve her energy but she felt Larum might do the same thing and wanted to see the fans get a real show before the match started.

"Oh wow, oh wow! I so excited to finally be here!" Larum Douglas was bouncing up and down backstage in the buildup to her introduction for her debut. Larum wanted to be a fighter to make her father proud, and she was there, moments away from doing it. She was absolutely over the moon.

When Larum heard her music start to play, it took all the self restraint she had in her to not break out into a mad sprint down to the ring. Instead she did the entrance she had planned and practiced. A slow, sauntering walk, with a hand on her hip as she swayed them back and forth with her strides. Her other arm raised above her head, her wrist turning in circles to double as a wave to the crowd and another part of her little entrance dance. When she got down to the ring, she jumped up and landed on one foot, which she performed a full spin on before entering the ring.

"Hey! you're a dancer too, right?" Larum said to Miranda. "This is gonna be a fun match!"

New music hit and with a big introduction LAW got it's first real look at Larum making her big entrance, dancing to the ring just like she did. Larum's dance was a little slower but just as mesmerizing to the fans who appreciated every sway of her hips. The cute little thing was not to be underestimated as a dancer and soon Miranda was sure she would show that the same was true for her as a wrestler. It made her excited and she enjoyed the same show the fans were getting before meeting Larum face to face.

"Yeah I am, just like you. My name's Miranda, nice to meet you." Mira said with a big smile on her face while offering a hand to Larum. She didn't know anything besides her look and her name but still she felt this girl was going to be much more fun to wrestle simply by the fact she seemed nice, she could be faking it but Mira was no fool anymore, she could spot a liar and so far Larum seemed to be as genuine as she looked.

"And I'm Larum! Larum Douglas," she said. Introducing herself as she accepted Miranda's handshake. She hadn't gotten to see Miranda's entrance like Miranda had seen hers, but she could make a good guess from her attire that she was most likely a belly dancer or something similar. She seemed nice, and Larum was excited to throw down with her.

The bell rung. "Alright! Here's to a good match," Larum said as she took her stance. She wasn't an aggressive fighter, so she would try to poke and prod at Miranda with quick, light kicks at her legs and hips, and using her agility to dart back and forth so she herself was never in range for too long. Larum also had her arms positioned defensively in front of her chest and head in case Miranda did try to go in for a counter hit.

Miranda shook Larum's hand as the two seemed to be starting on good terms, Mira still didn't sense any ill will and she was going to keep it that way if she could. When the two went to their respective corners Miranda waited until the bell rang and moved in to start off Larum's first match in LAW. Mira approached slowly trying to see what she could do, and Larum quickly started to keep her at bay by throwing light kicks at her legs to chip away at her.

Mira moved back whens he could but the kicks were fast, and eventually she was tagged on the hip. "Eek." Mira yelped before another kick hit her leg. The smack of skin was louder then the tiny yelp she gave while trying to back up to avoid any further kicks, she needed to do something about that. When Larum came back at her Miranda would try to rush in and try to launch her palm at her opponents chest.

When the match started, Larum and Miranda danced around the ring, with Larum controlling the pace using her kicks. Eventually, one of Larum's kicks landed clean, tagging Miranda square in her hip. The belly dancer scurried back to regroup after getting hit, but Larum didn't want to let her get away, and pursued.

However, Miranda came back at Larum with an attack of her own. Striking at Larum's chest with the palm of her hand. Larum was able to block the blow with her guard, but the force of the blow still forced her light frame to stumble backwards slightly, killing her momentum. Instead, Larum decided to try crouching low and going for Miranda's ankles with a leg sweep.

Between the two of them moving around it seemed the battle would start with less technical maneuvers and more just going for speeding away at her and moving so fast she gave Mira very little time to react. Each hit stung making Miranda whelp and she spent most of the early going trying to avoid the big hits but still feeling horribly inadequate to avoid them. Her striking back at least connected and showed she could keep up but despite making Larum step back she was already back on her before Mira could adjust sweeping at her legs and taking them out under her.

"Aaggh!" Miranda screamed before she landed on her side. Despite the painful drop that left her hip aching she would try to roll away as soon as possible knowing Larum had to have brought her to the amt for a reason and she didn't want to stick around to find out. Her best chance right now was finding an opening and knocking her down, not letting her take her down and control from up top.

Larum had gotten of to a decent start in this match. She was managing to outmaneuver Miranda and get some kicks in. Nothing too significant, but it was something nonetheless. Eventually Miranda made an attempt to strike back, but Larum was successful in striking back with a leg sweep and knocked her down onto the ground.

Having knocked her opponent down, Larum was now looking to make a follow up attack to really seize control of the match. She went for a leg drop that would have landed right on Miranda's body, but she rolled away before Larum could connect. Larum landed on the mat since she missed, and now it was Miranda who was trying to take control of the match.

"Ah!" Larum squealed as she tried to fight off Miranda from getting on top of her. But while Larum was faster, Miranda was bigger, and as a result, stronger. Larum couldn't really stop her from getting on top, so what she tried instead was to clamp her legs around Miranda for a bodyscissor. If she was stuck with Miranda on top of her, she may as well make try to the most of it.

Miranda had to pull out all the stops to avoid taking every hit this girl could muster, she was faster then anyone she had ever faced before and outpaced Mira by a noticeable margin. Thankfully she was still the stronger girl and getting on top of her seemed to cancel out any speed advantage, she expected to just pin Larum down and apply some submission to get her to slow down for a few seconds but already thinking ahead Larum turned her bad situation into something she could use and slid her legs around Miranda's waist so quickly that Mira didn't feel it until she was already being squeezed.

"Ahh!" Mira screamed hands going to Larum's legs and pulling while she tried to shake out. After a few seconds of that not working she would search for her feet and try to grab and pull those apart before the pressure got worse. She would need to find an opening to slip out or Larum would use this moment to recover and escape before Mira could do anything to her.

Larum thought that she might be in trouble once Miranda was able to get on top of her, but once she managed to fight back with her body scissor, it ended up having a lot more of an effect on Miranda than she had been expecting. Larum thought Miranda would still attack her, but instead she started to panic and focus on escaping the scissor.

Since Larum wasn't expecting Miranda to shift so far to the defensive, she wasn't prepared to keep her trapped and she broke free of the scissors with only slight difficulty. And once Miranda was free, she started trying to renew her attack. Larum didn't have a chance to get away and stand back up, but she was able to put up a much stronger guard with her arms and legs.
