Isa - The Angel of Ice vs Selene Sugar - Can Ice Melt Sugar?

Another night, another match. Isa wasn't complaining though. She had come to LAW to wrestle, and if the management was willing to give her plenty of matches, she should have been just happy, right? Besides, the Angel of Ice was very keen to get another win for her record...

...And that's also where the blonde's concern laid tonight. Her performances against other heavyweights hadn't exactly been that stellar in LAW so far, and tonight Isa knew that she was going to face another heavyweight. And while in theory, that was good - she was going to get another shot against a heavyweight - this time she had been well-informed of who her opponent was going to be, and what Isa had found out hadn't exactly been good news.

Tonight she was going to face Selene Sugar. A woman who had demolished a few of her previous opponents as fast as lightning strikes...even when being the handicapped one in a handicap match. The signs weren't exactly promising. Thus, the Angel of Ice was concerned.

But the good news were that Isa had been able to familiarize herself with her opponent beforehand, which allowed for a very important thing: creating a plan! And that's exactly what Isa had done! Having conducted her research, Isa had found out that one of Selene's most deadly weapons was a big boot delivered right in the beginning of the match that had spelled doom on her opponents...and if Isa could manage to dodge that, she surely would be in a much better position than Selene's previous opponents to fight her off! Right?

Confident in her plan, albeit still with some hesitations and doubts running in the back of her head, Isa made her entrance marching graciously down the ramp. Waving her hands a few times at the crowds before sliding graciously inside the ring, the blonde then performed her usual procedure of getting up on the ropes at each side of the ring, making sure to greet all of the crowds with a cute smile. And what was certainly a good signal for the blonde - the crowds were still clearly very happy and pleased to see her!

After her round of greetings, the Angel of Ice hopped down and settled in her corner to wait for the arrival of her opponent. After removing her small cape, trying to focus and concentrate on her plan, the statesque blonde was really wanting to show the crowds tonight what she was capable of!

As per usual, Selene passed the time before it was her turn to enter the ring by shadow boxing away within the locker rooms. Clad in her cookie themed bikini, she fired precise and powerful jabs one after the other, each punch just as potent as the last. Eventually, a LAW official arrived and told her that her opponent, this 'Isa' had just completed her entrance.

The bronzette's lips curled into a grin as she leapt forwards, throwing a vicious superman punch in the same motion. She rolled her shoulders upon completing her typical pre-match warm-up. However, as she made her way for the ring, she knew very well that her next match will be quite different from any of its predecessors.

Dressed in a frill bikini, Caroline waited for her cue by the timekeeper's table. She snuck in there during the clean up after the prior match and apart from those in the front row, the audience hasn't noticed her presence. Perhaps Isa took note of the purplellete's peculiar presence but she didn't care. Soon enough, the timekeeper nodded at her, prompting her to take to the stage.

She skipped over to the ring in a playful yet innocent fashion, tip-toed up the steel steps, and clambered past the ropes. Now inside the ring, she idled about doing the idle step. "Ladies and gentlemen!" The announcer's voice echoed throughout the arena. "Allow me to introduce to you the next competitor's personal ring announcer, Caroline!"

Caroline smiled brightly as she took out her own microphone, the 'Morning Star'. "~Thank you everyone, for your sweet, sweet welcome!~" She cheerfully stated through the loudspeakers. "Introducing next, an awesome lady who bulldozed everyone who opposed her!" Familiar music started to ramp up in the background. "She's the ~Sweet Beast!~ SSSSSelene! Sugarrrrr!"

A row of fireworks exploded on the stage at the mention of Selene's name, followed by the woman herself strolling out from backstage with her fist raised high and a confident smile on her lips. She threw a few hard haymakers and uppercuts as she made her way down the ramp, each strike coinciding with the sharp pop of a firework's explosion and a flash of light. Of course, such a grand entrance left the crowds in a state of excited awe.

Selene leapt up onto the ring apron before she leapt over the top ropes. Once again, she raised her fist into the air and walked one lap around the ring before she approached her opponent and outstretched her hand. "Heya, I'd say 'the name's Selene' but you probably already know that." She chuckled. "Hopefully, we can still be friends after I kick your ass."

Isa was mentally preparing as hard as she could to finally face Selene in the ring. Her eyes were focused on the entrance, expecting her opponent to start marching down the ramp at any moment...when suddenly she saw something unusual wandering to her line of sight! "What the hell....?!?" the blonde thought to herself in amazement, as she suddenly realized that a small blue-haired girl had entered the ring, and was hopping aimlessly in the middle of it! She definitely wasn't Selene Sugar, so what on earth was she doing inside the ring?!?

Soon enough Isa's puzzlement was relieved though, as the voice in the arena introduced her as "Caroline, the personal ring announcer". "Oh God..." was the only reaction Isa could think of, as the blonde certainly deemed this to be a very unnecessary feature. And apparently it was a new element as well, since the blonde couldn't really recall seeing this Caroline before...

Luckily though, the unexpected entrant seemed to waste no time before focusing on her stated purpose, finally introducing Selene into the ring. Hearing the words "bulldozed" and "beast" did not make Isa feel any easier though, but the blonde quickly reminded herself that she knew already all that, and that she had a plan to cope with it! Although that plan had failed to account for a personal ring announcer being present...

Right now Isa had all the time to focus on herself and clear her head though, as Selene's rather spectacular entrance with the fireworks and all was drawing everyone's attention. And even if Isa had been happy of her favorable reception by the crowds just before, she had to admit that her own entrance really paled in comparison with her opponent's... But then again, this would not really have been her style at all.

One thing was for sure though: Selene was full of confidence. And to be fair, with her record, it wasn't exactly unjustified... But Isa tried to just keep her head cool and focus on her plan, not letting all the showmanship and semantics get into her head. She just had to stay cool... Cool as ice!

Eventually her opponent came to face the blonde, and Isa got to realize that Selene was actually quite a bit taller than her. She had considered the sweet beast to be about the same size, but clearly had been mistaken. But did it matter in the big picture? No. What mattered was that she had to show Selene that she wasn't afraid at all!

"Oh yes, I know who you are... I know it very well..." Isa began with an unimpressed tone. "And don't worry, I don't think I'll be like your other opponents at all." she then added dryly, before Caroline's idling form behind her opponent distracted her attention again. "So, you brought a friend?" Isa then queried in the end, this time with some actual curiosity in her voice.

"You've got spunk." Selene blissfully replied. "But so did most everyone else." She stifled light laughter before she answered Isa's question. "Yes and no. She brought herself along." "~I sure did!~" Caroline seconded her friend with a sing-song voice. "~What's a dragon without a damsel, right?~" "Yeah, sure." The bronzette half-heartedly agreed before visibly gesturing to her offered handshake with her eyes. "You gonna shake?" She would mouth if her signal somehow failed.

Regardless, the match was about to start any second now. "~Welp, good luck, Isa.~" Caroline nodded at Isa before turning towards Selene. "~Have fun, Selene.~" And then the purpellete skipped out of the ring, all smiles as usual. On the other hand, Selene strolled over to her corner and started bouncing on the balls of her feet in eager anticipation of her upcoming bout. The second the bell resounded, she exploded into a sprint and closed the distance between herself and her opponent in an instant. With all the impetus of a speeding freight train, she lifted her leg up and attempted the same move she kicked off every match with, her signature, the S.T.A. (running big boot). As always, her target was Isa's face.

Unsurprisingly, Selene did not seem to be fazed by Isa's declaration of being different than her other opponents. The blonde hadn't imagined that she would have been either - that was the part that she had to show and prove inside the ring tonight! If Selene wasn't going to believe her words, she was going to have to believe her actions then.

However, it turned out to be Isa who got a little bit fazed...but by Caroline's words! "What's a dragon without a damsel....? What on earth did that mean?!?" The blonde was left staring at Caroline all confused, and fazed enough to miss Selene's cue for a hand shake before her verbal query. "Oh, yes sure! Sorry..." the blonde quickly apologized for her inattentiveness, as she promptly shook Selene's hand in a good-spirited manner. That was before Caroline grabbed her attention again with the well-wishes. "Thank you" was Isa's instinctive reply to the blue-haired girl before the blonde realized that it might have been a too generous response...

And then the bell already rang. And as soon as Isa set her sight on Selene, she was already on a charge! Quickly the blonde realized that it was exactly what she should have been anticipating, and remembered that she had formed a plan! Initiating its execution, the Angel of Ice started sprinting away from the line of fire, trying to rush past Selene right before she would have been raising her leg for the big boot, and charge towards the opposite corner herself! And from there Isa wanted to take a proper springboard effect, trying then to down her opponent with a powerful Lariat right in the middle of the ring!

Selene's eyes widened when she witnessed her foe break into a sprint as well, throwing her timing off. Isa zoomed past while the boot was still in the middle of winding up to strike, effectively dodging the strike before it even occured. The Sweet Beast couldn't help smiling as she brought herself to a stop and turned around, only to be surprised by the Angel of Ice already going on the attack. However, Selene didn't pride herself in her speed for nothing. She ducked under the incoming arm and used Isa's own momentum against her, redirecting her trajectory and whipping her towards the ropes.

Should the blonde be catapulted off the ropes as planned, her running form would stagger helplessly right into the bronzette's waiting arms. From there, she grabbed Isa by the waist and once again used her momentum against her. This time, Selene spun around a full one hundred and eighty degrees before brutally slamming her opponent down onto the canvas to execute her signature move; the ''M.S.G" (spinning spinebuster). Moreover, she exerted maximum downward push into the spinebuster to ensure that she smashed Isa with as much back-breaking force as possible.

For a moment here Isa felt good. Really good. She had managed to anticipate exactly what had been coming, and dodging Selene's boot magnificiently with a perfectly-timed sidestep! And as she rushed to bounce off the ropes near an opposite corner, the statesque blonde wanted to gather all possible speed behind her charge that was available. And as she was closing in on Selene, the cookie-clad girl was right where she wanted - right on the line of Isa's Lariat!

But that's when Isa's plan stopped working. Apparently Selene wasn't a too easy target herself either, and despite her superior height, she managed to duck the blonde's attack! And to make matters worse, she also managed to shift Isa's trajectory in the process, so that the blonde would now be inevitably bouncing off the ropes towards Selene yet again...

This time though, Isa had no plan. And absolutely no idea what to do either... And unfortunately for the blonde, Selene knew exactly what she was going to do. Isa wasn't used to getting thrown around, but that was exactly what Selene had in mind - and she didn't fail to execute. The Angel of Ice was lifted high before falling down on her back with a mighty smack! A shriek of surprise which turned into a cry of pain accompanied the blonde's downfall, who could only roll slowly over to a prone position while tending her back with her other hand.

Despite all of Isa's planning to prevent exactly that, Selene had managed to be the one to deliver the first, devastating move of the match...

Immediately upon laying Isa out with a crushing spinebuster, Selene bounced onto her feet and rolled her shoulders. "Not bad." She casually commented as she used her leg to push blonde onto her back. Then the bronzette ran towards the ropes, jumping over her downed opponent along the way. She hopped onto the middles ropes and catapulted herself off them, hurling her body back towards the fallen angel. As the Sweet Beast soared through the air, she punctuated her airborne manoeuvre with some theatrics before she crashed elbow first onto Isa's exposed stomach, aiming to knock all the air out of her lungs.

Like before, Selene instantly bounced onto her feet upon landing the breathtaking elbow drop and rolled her shoulders. Afterwards, she squatted down next to her likely winded foe and resumed with her less that complimentary remarks. "Hate to be the bearer of bad news but you're shaping up to be just like all my other opponents after all." She let out a self-satisfied chuckle. "It's not your fault, I'm just that awesome."

Isa was trying to slowly push her upper body upwards, hoping to start making her way back up when she heard Selene's comment from behind her. But her progress soon became halted by Selene's leg pushing her over back to the mat onto her back! The blonde got to then witness the tall heavyweight charging towards the ropes, and then bouncing off of them towards her, and it was obvious enough for Isa to see the signs of danger! Thus, the blonde quickly rolled over once as Selene seemed to be launching her attack to get out of the line of fire!

But either Selene had planned it all as a decoy, or then Isa's avoidance manouver was too easily expected. Instead of trying to crash on top of her opponent, Selene just jumped over her! It caused Isa to lose her sight on her opponent, and by the time she had turned around on the mat once again, Selene was already catapulting towards her from the middle ropes... And there was absolutely no time left for Isa to react, or to prevent Selene's elbow from crashing down on her stomach!

The impact drove air thoroughly out of Isa's lungs, with the blonde just curling up on the mat to protect her stomach from further punishment. But the time when Isa's heart really began to sink was when Selene squatted right beside her, beginning to state the inescapable facts... And hearing the crowds roaring in apoproval as they had become convinced that the beautiful blonde rookie was about to become just another victim of the Sweet Beast.

Seeing Isa suffer the devasting effect of the elbow drop, curling up and writhing in pain on the canvas, Selene decided to speed things along. She went and tucked her head underneath her foe's right arm. As she did so, she strapped her own right arm securely across the Angel of Ice's chest while the left arm cinched her back.

In a single, fluid, motion, the Sweet Beast deadlifted the other wrestler to her feet while maintaining the hold. With her opponent secured well within her grasp, Selene dashed forward and jumped as high as she could. And as they came crashing down, she pressed maximum downward force onto her right arm to ensure maximum damage when she executed her signature move, the 'S.S.S' (Running Side Slam).
