Hikaru vs. Ana: Struggling Stars

Match Type: Standard

Hikaru was pacing back and forth. She was last part of a 4 vs 4 challenge, picked by Lauren Fredericks to be part of her team against Ossi Shamar's selected team. Hikaru went up against Emilia Hjaal whom she liked and a woman whom Hikaru had previously defeated. This time after a brief run of offense it was Emilia who crushed Hikaru with a hard hitting finisher out of nowhere to outright put Hikaru away emphatically! Hikaru was trying to get herself back on track hoping a victory against Ana was in the cards for her! Even if she struggled Hikaru was not going to give up.

As her music played Hikaru waved to the crowd a couple times as she walked down the ramp focusing on the ring as the audience gave her a polite cheer but nothing overwhelming. She walked to the ring steps to walk up onto the apron before climbing through the ropes to enter the ring. Hikaru held her right arm up and nodded to the crowd before stepping over to her corner, doing some stretches and tugging on the ropes as she awaited the arrival of Ana whom she knew very little about.

Deciding to leave her trusty brass knuckles behind again. Ana is thinking over what she did wrong during her last match with JJ, going over the match on her tablet before sitting it aside and getting ready for her match. Doing a small bounce to focus herself as she plans on going out and putting on a good match tonight for herself, and to pick up a win against a opponent with a decent record.

Her music plays as she makes her way on stage. Her fan club gives her a roaring cheer while the other fans boo her for doing heel things in her past matches, but she pays them no mind as she walks down to the ring. Sliding underneath the bottom rope and giving a side glance to her opponent gets in the middle of the ring and flexes, much to the mixed reaction from the crowd again. Anan gives her opponent a smile before heading to her side of the ring waiting for the bell to ring.

Hikaru bounced back and forth on her feet watching Ana come out. Hikaru looked at her and nodded as she felt ready to face down Ana. The two women were of a similar size so Hikaru felt her technical skill would be the deciding factor in her favor. At least that is what she hoped. Hikaru smiled and nodded to Ana as she entered the ring. "Nice to meet you lets have a good match!"

Hikaru would wait a moment as the bell rang, circling Ana before moving in for a grapple, attempting to maneuver and wrap an arm around Ana's head to lock in a standing side headlock to start the match off!

Ana doesn't reply to her opponent friendly banter. She doesn't need luck to win this match between them, she will need to use all the skill she has learned and put them to use. If she can control the match and keep it at a pace she can keep setting then her opponent would have to either change up her style, or risk being worn down and losing to her submission holds.

As she went to match her opponent with a grapple of her own, but is out maneuvered and placed in a side headlock by her opponent. Recalling the skill taught on how to escape that move, Ana places her hand on Hikaru back and pushes the woman forward into the ring ropes as hard as she can. wanting to show off her skill by ducking to the canvas if her opponent tries anything on the rebound.

Hikaru was shoved to the ropes, bouncing off and running back at Ana! Hikaru tried to hit a clothesline but Ana ducked as Hikaru kept running, bouncing off the ropes again while picking up speed! Hikaru was flying at Ana a second time hoping that a running dropkick would catch her off guard! However given the dodge of the clothesline Hikaru knew there was a possibility of the dropkick missing leaving Hikaru in a very bad position if that were the case.

Ana was able to dodge the first clothesline move. Her skills with being able to dodge and try to mix up chain wrestling has been getting better and better due to training with the SWAT Cats. Turning around expecting her opponent to run underneath her so she can jump over her, but that not what Hikaru does next.

"AAAHHHHH" as she takes a drop kick to the chest. The impact sends Ana through the middle rope and to the outside, as she falls in a heap on the floor upset more at herself then her opponent.

Hikaru pumps a fist in the air as she gets up, seeing Ana fall to the outside. Hikaru runs the opposite way bouncing off the ropes. As soon as Ana gets up Hikaru tries to time a baseball slide to her feet collide right with the head of Ana on the outside further adding to her punishment at the hands of the surging Hikaru! She is fired up and the crowd really starts to rally behind her filling Hikaru with confidence!

Ana slowly get's to her feet rubbing her chest with her hand. She studied film on her opponent and even saw the match where Hikaru was pinned and beaten after having control of the match, so she would need to tough it out before striking when the woman guard was down. She was unable to see her opponent rushing towards her as a pair of boots slam into her face sending her slamming back first into the barricade. 'AAAAHHHH"

Hikaru was rolling and she gave chase looking to crash into Ana! Hikaru was going to try to smash into Ana so hard that she clotheslined her right over the barricade into the area the fans were sitting! Hikaru was really moving with a full head of steam looking to make the most of this impact provided Ana didn't do something to move or counter what Hikaru was attempting. Hikaru was feeling confident like she could... and would... win this matchup for a change!

[The Riders]

"Just great maybe I should have brought my brass knuckle... One shot and I would have easily won by now." Ana thinks to herself while sagging against the barricade. Seeing her opponent rushing at her with her arm raised up, she has a counter that she wants to try up to protect herself by using her opponent own speed against her. Ana ducks low wanting to get as low as possible to back body drop Hikaru over the barricade and into the fans, using all of her skill to pull the counter move off.
