Brandi Quinn vs. Tina Armstrong - Unyielding, Unflinching, Undying

Unread post by PrinceArjuna332 »

Standard Match
Victory Conditions: Gained by either pin, KO, or submission from the opponent.
Normal rules apply.

Brandi Quinn had been hearing about LAW for quite a while now, seeing it as one big thing in the world of professional wrestling. Even her longtime friend and former tag-team partner, Dana Ashford, had been a part of the roster for a few years now. And now, Brandi was also a part of LAW, and tonight would be her first appearance in this promotion.

The black-clad veteran powerhouse was ready for the match, and her first match here in LAW was against someone with quite a renown, the inaugural LAW middleweight champion herself, Tina Armstrong. What better way than to face the former champion herself, and she would make sure that she would stand victorious over her at the end of it.

Making her entrance, the reactions from the crowd were quite mixed. With those who were unfamiliar with her were cheering for a new face in this promotion, while those who were in the know of her background made their point to bring the heat, booing and jeering the obvious villainess. Smirking, Brandi just strutted down the ramp, showing off her mature figure as she made her way to the ring.

Soon, she entered the ring, and Brandi would wait at the corner for her opponent to arrive. Her opponent was a lot younger than her, and she wanted to see how good she was in the ring. From what she could tell, this Tina Armstrong might be around the same age as her daughters, and she was looking forward to see what this former champion had in store for her.

Tina was rowdy for action tonight. She had been wrestling well and was soon going to get some action in against her old rival Summer Samson. Tonight she was facing a returning veteran of the ring.

Tina wanted to show this woman what the women of today could do in between the ropes. As her music played she came out to a loud roar from the crowd with the former middleweight champion all smiles herself. She skipped down the ramp before jumping up onto the apron before grabbing the top rope to vault over.

"You look big and bad, but I train with a big old amazon herself. If ya think I am just gonna fold because ya got a legacy and size on me you are wrong." Tina said as she confidently stepped up to Brandi.

Brandi watched as Tina made her entrance, smiling to herself as she folded her arms under her ample breasts. Once Tina entered the ring, she listened to what the young woman had to say, and she chuckled when she mentioned the Amazon. Back in the day, Brandi had clashed with Alaina Sanders a few times, though not as prominent as the rivalry between Alaina and Dana, but still notable enough for many fans to remember.

"Is that so? Well... I've fought Alaina before, and I'm very certain that you haven't reached her level yet..." Brandi grinned as she disparaged the younger woman before her. Standing up before each other, Brandi stared into Tina's eyes before the referee came over to separate the two. The match hadn't started yet, and there was already tension in the air.

Tina raised an eyebrow and stepped up to Brandi nearly chest to chest. "Oh yeah? Well I bet you never were on her level." Tina said with a grin. The bell soon and and Tina was not going to waste any time in giving Brandi a welcome to LAW! The tigress spun around, swinging her leg up to try to open the match with a hard mid-kick across the abdomen. Tina wanted to hit fast, hit hard and keep moving against a clearly larger woman who seemed as if she could be a heavyweight if they weighed her right after she ate. The tigress was prideful but not dumb, she had to keep moving to win this one.

Standing before Tina, chest to chest, Brandi grinned when she retorted to her. "Heh... we'll see about that, girl." And when the match started, Brandi was about to get into position, but Tina decided to jump into action right away as she delivered a mid-kick right at her abdomen. "UURGHHH!!!" Brandi's eyes widened as she took the hit, but she knew that she was made of sterner stuff, so she would step back, putting some distance between herself and her opponent so that she could recover.

It seemed that Tina was quite a pragmatic despite her being a bright-eyed youngster. Gasping for air, Brandi maintained her gaze on the younger woman so that she could see what she was about to do next.

Tina landed a fast hit but it didn't do much. Tina expected that though and she waste no time in moving in and attempting to grapple with Brandi. Tina wasn't trying to overpower her she was just trying to get hold and attempt to position herself to try to grab an arm and jam her shoulder against Brandi's chest before hip tossing her down to the canvas! Tina knew this woman was very experienced and she wanted to try to wrestle smart while taking the fight to the older wrestler.

Huffing out a little after taking the kick to her abdomen, Brandi watched her opponent to see her next move, and she could see Tina closing in, locking up with her in a grapple. It seemed that the younger woman was quite a quick thinker that as soon as the two of them were locked up, she immediately grabbed one of Brandi's arms before she rammed her shoulder into her chest, causing the older woman to gasp out.

"UGHH!!"

This allowed Tina to continue with another attack, which was a hip toss, in which she managed to flip her over and send her crashing down into the mat. "AGHHH!!" She cried out in pain, but she wouldn't allow that to stop her as she would try to use the momentum of her being sent down to roll herself over onto her knees, grimacing a little but ready to get herself back up onto her feet.

"I know you are good lady, but I ain't gonna kiss your boots because of what ya did 15 years ago in a ring." Tina said as she tried to keep up on Brandi, giving chase. The tigress looked to leap up at Brandi, sending a dropkick right to her upper chest to knock her right back down! Tina wanted to keep Brandi on her back foot knowing she didn't want the larger woman to get rolling. She had seen her old matches against Alaina, and tag matches with Dana Ashford. Tina had to be wary but the young wrestler always figured her intensity and drive could overcome anything even women like Brandi!

As soon as she was on her feet, Brandi would immediately spring herself back up onto her feet, but Tina was relentless in her assault as she immediately went for her next attack, launching a dropkick aimed to Brandi's chest. "ARGHHH!!" This time, she was unable to maintain her footing, and she fell backwards and hit the mat with her back.

Wheezing painfully, Brandi cradled her chest as she tried to regain her bearing. It seemed that she might have miscalculated her opponent. It seemed that despite her youth, Tina had proven herself to be quite a formidable opponent, and Brandi had to adjust accordingly. She couldn't afford to underestimate her opponent, not after seeing what Tina was capable of.

With Brandi down the mat Tina moved in to keep at it. She was smaller by about 20 pounds but the lean, muscular tigress had plenty of bite. She jumped up and extended her elbow looking to plant it right on the chest of Brandi to keep her down on the mat right where she was. The bigger, older grappler was going to have a hard time with Tina if Tina had anything to say about it! She was determined to win, and show everyone that she was still a title contender even though it had been a while since she was involved in the title hunt.
