Jessica Wright vs Jem Holland
Tonight was another chance for the feisty, eccentric streamer of LAW to tack a win onto her list of achievements at the L.A.W. Without caring for who it was she was facing or what it was she'd have to do to capitalize on tonight's chance to become victorious, Jem would rush to the arena and arrive on time for her scheduled match of the evening!
Holland would emerge to the tune of her upbeat theme song. The audience welcoming her with praise and cheers as the wide eyed, smiling woman, clad in an interesting white and orange dress began to make her way down the entrance ramp. She'd give the occasion hug to her fans. Many of them who had recognized her from her streaming career made an effort to go to shows where Jem appeared on the card. Jem would eventually arrive at the ring apron, rolling under the bottom rope and popping up to her feet in excited fashion. The lady would climb the turnbuckle and wave to her fans once more before dropping down and awaiting the arrival of her opponent.
"Welp, not much left to do besides tell my opponent my usual catch phrase and kick her butt at the sound of the bell!" The blonde said aloud while stretching and warming up.

Re: Jessica Wright vs Jem Holland
You only get one chance at a first impression. Jessica knew that. They were not her words, and she was not entirely sure where they had come from. She did not particularly care. Only a month ago, she had been fighting in the indies, fending off women from getting her dinky little pissant belt, and now she was in another league entirely. The Violent Violet, as she had become known back in Iowa, was notorious for cheap shots, dirty tactics, and doing whatever it took to win.
But she did win. There was a reason that they were paying her to come all the way from Iowa. The lights of Japan were unlike any other on the face of the earth. They were hot, they were bright, and they would blind everyone who could not stand up to the powerful beam. And now, they were all going to be focused on her.
Jessica felt she was ready for them. She adjusted her gauntlet, and stared at herself in the mirror. This is the first time she had wrestled in a different country, let alone halfway across the world. For a month, she had honed her body, and redoubled her efforts to become the best. She was only nineteen, but she had seen enough matches to know what to expect.
The only question that remained was if her opponent for the evening knew what was coming. Jessica had never heard of her, and she doubted that her opponent recognized the name Jessica Wright. That was fine. She would soon know. The whole world would know. She marched through the halls of the massive arena, looking for the entrance to the main arena. The look on her face was one of pure concentration. Jessica Wright was ready.
Her haunting music started, and Jessica made her way to the ring. Hardly anyone clapped for her, which she did not find surprising. They had not yet had the opportunity to know her. But they would. Soon the entire world would know. Her pace was slow, and casual. Her purple eyes never wavered from the woman in the ring, even as she slid under the bottom ropes.
Jessica moved to the middle. "You are not going to leave this arena under your own power," she threatened.

Re: Jessica Wright vs Jem Holland
The energetic, spunky blonde waited in the ring for her opponent. She had been in a few matches already, and garnered a little respect since her embark on her LAW career. Jem's attitude, look, and streaming career helped her earn a place in the hearts of the fans even this early on. And she'd used the confidence she felt from having done that to take on her opponent for the night. Truth be told, she didn't know who the woman was. And the anxiety of not knowing wouldn't be helped at all when the Jessica's peculiar disconcerting theme began to play. The vocals alone sparked questions, but the appearance of the Violet haired woman elicited even more questions from the audience.
The way in which Miss Wright carried herself led many to believe that she had come to get down to business. Holland would place a hand on her hip as she saw Jessica enter the ring. After being outright threatened by the debuting wrestler, Jem would place a hand on her own ample chest as if she were taken aback.
"I'm supposed get put down by some scrub?" Holland would remark with a raised eyebrow.
She'd point to her foe for the night and assert herself with a catch phrase that some of her fans recognized from her streaming sessions and said along with her.
"You're gonna have to eat those words, Jess. I'll be happy to give you the good ol' L-A-W welcome...! So get set! To get WRECKED!"
Hilariously enough, the bell would follow Jem's statement almost immediately. She had pumped herself up, but was still caught off guard by the sudden start of the contest. The feisty blonde would take a second to assume a fighting stance. If allowed the chance to do so, she'd try to approach her purple haired foe for a lock up.

Re: Jessica Wright vs Jem Holland
"Supposed to has nothing to do with it." Jessica snarled. She began pacing around the ring, sizing up her opponent. This woman was young, like Jessica was. The Violent Violet was not quite sure what she was meant to surmise from this woman. Jem had the ebullient energy of someone who still had a lot to prove. In a way, Jessica was like that as well. But the Violent Violet reckoned that she knew how to play the game a little bit better. She had learned in the indies.
She had learned that sheer aggression was the only way to survive. The bell went off, and Jessica charged forward. This was her first match here, and her first opponent. The scouts that had plucked her from the cornfields of Iowa recognized what she could do, and now it was time for Jem, and everyone else, to see. Her powerful legs churned as she raced across the ring. She thought she might be a bit nervous, but she wasn't. Her mind was far too focused on ripping this girl apart.
The second she got close enough, she jumped into the air and sent two legs outwards. Going for a missle dropkick right off the bat was perhaps not the most conservative play, but Jessica was not a conservative sort of gal. The blow was aimed right at her stomach. Her arms were flung back. She had no interest in catching herself when she fell.

Re: Jessica Wright vs Jem Holland
Jessica's overall disposition made Jem uneasy. As it probably would for most. Be that as it may, the spirited young blonde was determined to take on and take down her Violet foe with an eager smile. Holland didn't have the indie background that her opponent did. But despite being somewhat green, she was taken in by a professional wrestling organization in LAW and performed more than well enough to earn her keep there. Shortly after the sound of the bell, Jem had widened her feet and raised her fists. She seemed to be getting into a stance to fight, but that would soon be interrupted by the sounds of a stampeding Jessica!
Though similarly sized, Jessica's figure seemed more imposing than Jem's as she hoofed it across the ring. The Violent Violet moved quickly. Her malicious intent was channeled and made apparent in each step she took. Jem's large eyes widened as her foe grew near. With little time to react between the bell and Wright getting close before leaping into the air, the young streamer crossed her arms and tried to block the brunt of the Iowan woman's dropkick!
"UUF!" She groaned loudly as the force of the kick, though blocked, propelled her backwards. Jem was thrust far back enough to collide with a corner of the ring! Jem would hold her own head with one arm and drape her arm over the top rope. It seemed she needed a second to find her bearings after such a jarring blow. Regardless, the crowd would roar as the match commenced with an explosive start! Jem would hang her head and mutter loudly enough for her opposition to hear: "Lucky....shot..."

Re: Jessica Wright vs Jem Holland
Jessica did not stop. Jessica could not stop. She knew that her opponent had not suffered the worst of the potential damage, but she had brought forward enough force to send Jem reeling back a few steps. The Violent Violet needed an early victory, and that was it. As soon as she hit the ground, she was bounding up continuing to advance on her opponent. Jessica was a glacier, an avalanche, a vast tornado looming over the Iowa plain, and the only thing that could stop her was an equal and opposite force of nature.
And Jem was not that. She slumped against the ropes, and Jessica kept coming. The Violent Violet recognized that if she slowed down, it might make the eventual impact a little bit easier for her. But she was not interested in doing this any way but the hard way, so she continued, implacable, indefatigable, indomitable. As she approached her opponent, she took a quick hop.
That would help her get the angle a little bit better. Had this been the indies, Jessica would have gone for a spear, right to the gut. But it wasn't Iowa, it wasn't Minnesota, it wasn't even Chicago. This was Japan. Anything less than over the top would not have been acceptable to her. So as she plummeted towards the earth and descended upon the gamer, she stuck her hard shoulder out. Jem would taste all of the weights she had lifted, in the hardest, most painful way possible.

Re: Jessica Wright vs Jem Holland
Normally it wouldn't take a woman much time to find her bearings. She had seen a hardcore match or two in her day. There really wasn't much Jem wasn't willing to try when it came to operating in the squared circled or life, in general. But the surprising force with which Jessica came at her. The level of intensity and willingness that Wright had to inflict pain, regardless of the recoil of consequences she afflicted herself. By the time the blonde had looked up to get a lay of a land, Jessica was already descending. Jem would begin to take a step from her corner in reaction to this. The young woman knew that whatever the debuting middleweight had in mind for her, it wasn't good. Holland sprang from her corner, and thrust herself forward. She would raise an arm and attempt to fight back with a forearm blow. But just when she had readied herself to halt Jessica's momentum -
"AUGH!" Jem let out a loud groan as she was cut off. Wright had landed and ducked low enough to thrust her shoulder and darn-near cleave into the streamer's midsection!
Jem once again found herself being propelled into the corner she just emerged from. Her eyes widened and her mouth was left agape as she leaned forwards and rested the weight of her upper body on Jess' back. Jem would cough to try and fill her lungs back up with air after taking that harsh, spear-like tackle. In the heat of this very moment, the only thought on her mind was that....maybe this wasn't just some scrub.
Jem would continue to lean forward. If Jessica backed up and gave her some breathing room, the streamer would fall to her knees and hold her stomach while still gasping. At this point, things seemed to only keep going from bad to worse. Jem would need to find some sort of opening if she was going to turn the tides!

Re: Jessica Wright vs Jem Holland
Jessica felt Jem. She was right there, literally on top of her. The Violent Violet's body touched Jem's, and she felt her, all of her. She felt the muscles in her get, the sound of her voice as she grunted with pain, and saw how she was beginning to buckle. Jessica did not stop however. Tonight, she was all action. She was not sure if it was pure adrenaline, the heat of the moment, or simply who she was as a person. Whatever the case was, she was getting hers tonight.
Jessica took a halfstep back, not wanting to give Jem enough space. She sensed that Jem wanted to crumple to the ground, which was not the worst alternative for her, really. Mostly because what Jessica was going to do next was going to be painful, and she could not execute that if Jem had collapsed onto the floor.
Jessica grabbed Jem's shoulders and immediately launched herself backwards. As she fell to the ground, her two strong legs were in motion, shooting upwards with little pomp but great circumstance. She was aiming for Jem's exposed midsection, and her two feet rocketed upwards. That motion, combined with Jessica's backwards motion, could mean only one thing. A monkey flip. It was a classic, throwback move, because Jessica was an old school kind of gal. This was one of the first moves that her father had taught her, only a scant few years ago. Surely, he would be proud now...

Re: Jessica Wright vs Jem Holland
Jessica Wright was on a roll. Jem buckled in the corner against her formidable foe. She wasn't in the best shape right now, certainly not poised to try and shove the Violent Violet away or somehow acquire the breathing room she so desperately needed right now. The blonde inhaled deeply when Jessica took a quick step back. It was all starting to become very clear to her. She had seen and learned from some pretty knowledgeable wrestlers. She had trained in Japan to wrestle to supplement her streaming career. The boisterous, perky Jem Holland had been in the ring with a few formidable foes, but she had yet to encounter someone like Jessica.
Jessica's rally continued. The purple haired brute would grab hold of Jem's shoulders and jump onto her before throwing herself backwards and thrusting Jem into the air, vaulting her across the ring for a Monkey Flip! Jem would land on her back and bounce off the canvas before sitting up only slightly. She supported her upper body with one hand on the canvas and placed the other on the small of her back while arching in pain. Jem remained there a short while with her teeth grit and her eyes closed. Between the spear in the corner and the sudden Monkey Flip, Jem's core was feeling it right about now. Still, though, Jem was in no way prepared to throw in the towel. And her fans joined her in that train of thought. Between those who followed her streams and those who knew of her as a bubbly streamer turned wrestler, there were more than a handful of fans that wanted to see Holland turn things around.
Soft chants would begin before they gradually picked up. For the time-being, Jem would remain grounded, but she'd nod her head in acceptance of the cheers, trying to summon the willpower and life she needed to shrug off all this offense and somehow begin to turn the tides!
"Jem! Jem! Jem! Jem! Jem!" her fans began to say in a cadence.

Re: Jessica Wright vs Jem Holland
Jessica slowly pulled herself up, and turned around to face her opponent. The onslaught had clearly taken its toll on her opponent, and for what it was worth, Jessica was feeling a little bit of tiredness as well. Not nearly as bad as Jem was, she supposed. With that thought, she began walking over to her opponent when she heard the roar of the crowd. They loved this woman, weak and pathetic as she was, and they were beginning to dislike her. That was fine. If they wanted to dislike her, that was their prerogative. Just as it was Jessica's right to earn their ire.
The Violent Violet marched over and bent over Jem. It would be forgivable for them to assume that Jessica was about to launch into an attack. She was, in a way.
This time, Jessica was trying to get on Jem's nerves. "Jem! Jem! Jem!" Her chant was sarcastic, and she clapped along, not two feet in front of Jem's face. "Come on, champ! The people want you to get up and at 'em!" The clapping grew louder, and more sardonic. "All these people cheering for you! Give big bad Jessica the old what for!" Her large chest hung low, and her firm rear was sticking out. Surely she was inciting more than just anger.
She stood back up, all the way straight. "You're fucking pathetic." She kicked Jem, and strode away. She was sure that she could not handle it. And besides, she had more than earned a break, after all of that ass-kicking.
