Jessica was screaming at her manager. When he first told Jessica that she would be fighting on the beach, she told him that she wasn't in a mood to be joking around. They were standing in the doorway of the little building where she had changed into her usual black and gold wrestling outfit, and the audience sitting in the bleachers could probably hear her. The Violent Violet didn't really care. She wanted it to be known to everyone that she did not want to be in a match on the beach.
She walked away in a huff. The Violent Violet told herself that she was going to make the most of it. Sand was not pleasant to be in, and maybe she could take some of her frustrations out by rubbing this woman's face into the sand. In addition, it had no give. Which meant that all of the slams that she loved to utilize would be even more effective. Her typical repertoire was nothing but power moves, which meant that she would be losing steam even quicker thanks to how hard it would be to move around, but that also meant that if this woman wanted to dodge a lot, she was going to be in too deep too.
Although she could not quite place the source, her music was playing on the off-chance that not everyone on the bleacher had heard all of the colorful language that she had employed to convert to her manager exactly how angry she was at the situation.
The sand crunched under her boots. Everyone watched as an incredibly angry purple haired woman stormed to the center of the makeshift ring. It wasn't much, just four wooden posts with a single rope to serve as the outer bounds of where they would be fighting. The ref girl seemed a little bit scared of Jessica, which was just the way that she liked it.
The more that she was thinking about it, the more she was talking herself into this. Beach matches were stupid, sure, but if she won, that would be nothing but a good thing. These types of matches always attracted a lot of viewers, and if a lot of viewers saw her win, she would be halfway to a title shot in her own opinion. So the stormy look on her face was still fairly serious, but it was only overcast and not a thunderstorm.
This better be worth it, she thought.
