*in a condensed amount of time, Tess had gone from a relative nobody to a fan favorite, garnering quite the large following with her explosive technique and affable attitude. This, however, did not convert to wins as well as she would have hoped- While having broken even in regards to her current record on the law circuit, the gregarious powerhouse was becoming increasingly elated as her match for the evening.*
"Swan...swan? Like, the animal?" *She ruminated on this name for a moment, trying to comprehend why someone would intentionally choose this pseudonym, but given how objectively silly she herself looked, Tess wasn't about to criticize her.*
"Oh well, I've definitely heard weirder in my time. I can't wait to show her what I can do though!" *Bouncing from foot to foot, Tess gave her outfit one last visual inspection before finally deciding to dash down the hallway, arm spread out to her sides, while simultaneously making airplane noises. The unusually vacant hallway backstage provided Tess with an excellent runway, and before she knew it she had stumbled through the opaque curtain and into the eye of the public!*
*Her presence alone was enough to get the crowd going, and as Tess realized where she had ended up at her entire demeanor improved drastically.*
"H..hey..they're..applauding me?!" *She stared like a deer in headlights for a moment before striking her unique pose, her index and middle fingers positioned right above her forehead to show the audience she appreciated their praise.*
"Yeah! Tonight's going to be the night!" *Before long, she merrily skipped down the ramp, all the while maintaing her exuberant expression.*
*Finally reaching the outskirts of the ring, Tess wasted little time in rolling underneath the bottom rope before springing back to her feet, hopping from side to side to keep her physical momentum going.*
"Alright, let's do this!" *She pumped a singular fist before dropping it to her side, eagerly anticipating the appearance of her opponent.*
