A dazzling debut- Tess vs Peggy!

[SubtleRoar]

*With a deep, anxious sigh the blonde bombshell took an elongated look in the mirror at herself; clad in her heroic ensemble, coated from head to toe in green and gold Tess was prepared for whatever came her way tonight!*

"Alright!" *She shouted in an ebullient tone* "Time to show everyone what I'm capable of!" *Rushing down the hallway, Tess weaved in and out of multiple individuals before finally emerging into the maw of public scrutiny!*

*While initially awkward, Tess was greeted with a confluence of silence and applause, which was just enough to propel her towards the steps. Trotting up the staircase she casually hopped over the highest rope, bouncing around in a circle to work herself up for her impending fight!*

Peggy had started of hot in her solo matches before crashing into a wall. She was ready to change the losing trend tonight against a less experienced wrestler.

Her music began to play and Peggy came out looking confident as she strut her way down the ramp waving to the crowd. Peggy slid into the ring underneath the bottom rope and stood up making her way to the center of the ring.

"I hope you are ready for the big time kid because I ain't goin' easy on ya tonight." Peggy said to Tess.

*Still hopping around the ring like a frenzied kangaroo, Tess was more than overjoyed to introduce herself to her opponent by clasping each side of her hand and vigorously shaking it up and down* "Heya! I'm Tess. I hope you're ready for the fight of your life tonight!" *She responded without a tincture of malice or anger present in her tone.* "You must be Peggy. I've heard so much about you, but don't anticipate me to back down just because you have a reputation under your belt!" *While her countenance remained chipper, Tess's cadence become much more serious as she broached this particular topic.* "Defeating you would propel my status as a rookie, so you better be on your toes!"

*Without delay, the bell eventually sounded with a massive* "Ding ding ding!" *Which persuaded Tess to take a large step backwards, creating some distance between the two combatants. As was tradition for the elated blonde, she pulled her goggles down to cover her eyes, indicative of how serious this fight was to her.* "You better watch out!" *She shouted, taking the initiative by lunging forward and stretching herself out for a crossbody to start things off!*

Peggy wasn't ready for something like this so when Tess launched herself at her Peggy fell back flat to the mat! "Oomph!" Peggy groaned as she hit the mat hard. Peggy kicked underneath Tess trying to shove her off of herself as she started off the match on the wrong foot! Right now Peggy was focused on trying to get up without having Tess do something else in order to keep Peggy down. Perhaps this rookie had more to her than Peggy had anticipated.

*Adamant on maintaing this newfound momentum, Tess's crossbody managed to temporarily immobilize Peggy, providing her with the perfect opportunity to showcase her submission prowess for the unenthused audience!* "It's my time to shine!" *She shouted excitedly, shimmying up Peggy's slender body while simultaneously attempting to maneuver around her upper body before locking her legs around Peggy's throat. The gears in her mind were beginning to whir at a rapid pace, and in no time flat she was already beginning to assert her dominance!*

"Sorry, but I can't lose tonight!" *She retained her boisterous cadence throughout the move, synching her legs against her victim's neck to try and execute a headscissors choke. The crowd seemed slightly more invested than they had been earlier, given how versatile Tess's moveset appeared to be, and were eager to see if she could squeak out an early victory!*

Peggy was down and her situation was getting worse as Tess wrapped her up in a nasty choke hold! Peggy gasped and choked as she struggled although he did see that Tess had locked her in a hold closer to the ropes than she may have liked. Peggy grit her teeth and tried to buck her hips, pushing with her arms to scramble forward trying to get close enough to reach her feet out to get them to the bottom rope in order to get the referee to call for a rope break!

*Much to the spunky heroine's chagrin, it seemed as though Peggy was much more perceptive than she had originally thought, forcing her to relinquish her legs from around the base of her throat. However, the audience was beginning to warm up to the overzealous rookie, showing their enthusiasm by chanting* "Keep it up! Keep it up!" *Which she acknowledged by nodding in their general direction. As she retreated away from Peggy, Tess began to concoct her next plan of attack.*

"This should be fun!" *She proudly announced, hopping on the balls of her feet before dashing in towards her target, launching herself skyward before dropping her prodigious body down for a flying body slam!*

Peggy was getting up when Tess came flying back at her. Peggy knew she didn't want to be where she was so she rolled hard to the right leaving Tess to come crashing down hard on nothing but the canvas! Peggy gasped for breath, struggling to get back to her feet as she was trying to recover from the fast start by the rookie. Peggy knew Tess would spring back up so she was laying low, trying to get herself ready for whatever Tess was going to throw her way next.

*Even though she was extremely hyperactive, most of what Tess did was well thought out ahead of time- She could calculate a successful move minutes before executing it, with an incredibly low probability of failure. However, when she launched her aerodynamic body across the ring to try and squash Peggy like a pancake, all she ended up accomplishing was bouncing her tummy off the ground!* "GGGNH!" *She hissed in anguish, cupping both of her wounded orbs in the palms of her hands as she remained sedentary against the canvas.*

"Dang it!" *She shouted under an exasperated breath, trying to scurry back to her feet but finding it difficult to do so. She had inadvertently applied too much pressure against her lower body, particularly her leg, and could only rest against her posterior while trying to recuperate from her injury.*

Peggy now had a chance to try to get Tess to hold still which worked out well for Peggy! The Irish woman moved in reaching out to grab Tess and hammer her abdomen with a trio of knee strikes to stun her! "All yer fancy runnin' around is nice but sometimes ya just need a classic touch to win lass!" Peggy shouted as she bent down to scoop Tess up and slam her down as hard as she could! Peggy knew it wasn't going to put Tess away or anything close to it but she figured three hard knee strikes and a slam would at least slow her down, halting that initial momentum she had at the very start.
