MMA Showcase: Hinata Hyuga vs. Kameko Takara

Kameko had to admit, watching the show as a fan now that she had been signed was a different feeling. Granted, she always enjoyed a good match and hey tickets were on a discount to employees so hey who was she to complain? As Kameko sat in her more casual gear she observed from the front row a new kind of match she had not seen much of at L.A.W.

In this case, it was the tail end of some MMA showdown.

A woman who went by the title of "Byakugan Queen" had been issuing an MMA showcase and some poor girl stepped up to the plate. The battle so far had gone poorly for the would be challenger as this Hinata Hyuga had her way with her and already had her dazed with stiff jabs and several impressive take downs. Kameko was a wrestler, pure and simple and while L.A.W. predominantly was a wrestling company they were open to various match types or fighting styles as sort of a fighting mash pit to celebrate all styles.

Kameko had to admit, while wrestling was and is her passion, this other style of fighting had its merits as well. More importantly seeing this Hinata's dominance in it sparked a bit of a curious thought in her mind as she watched the match which seemed close to a conclusion.

Hinata the "Byakugan Queen" had signed herself into an exhibition. The exhibition was nothing special really for Hinata. Though to be blunt Hinata was challenged by someone. A novice fighter who thinks she can step up with the best. A win over Hinata is something that would make front-page news. The match went about as well as you can expect, Hinata ran through the novice like she was nothing.

Hinata was peppering the novice with stiff jabs that worked to dazed her opponent, also working to damage her. Hinata would also use this time to try some new takedowns. Rather effective in practice. Hinata who seemed like a well-oiled machine had limits to her patients.

This match has gone on long enough don't you think? Hinata said after creating some space between the two fighters. The novice visibly upset by the comment made by the "Byakugan Queen" WHAT DO YOU MEAN She screamed out as she rushed Hinata. Oh dear that wasn't the best decision Hinata said as she prepared herself to meet her opponent.

Now with them being so close to each other Hinata would lurch forward. Followed by a quick dash and short leap up in the air. With that jump, Hinata would place her knee forward colliding cleanly on her opponent's face (TIGER KNEE) Hinata would say to herself in her head. Hinata has a bad habit of naming her moves and saying them out loud in a match. CRACK the sound echoed around the venue.

With that knee, Hinata's opponent slumped down to the side and appeared to be knocked out. The referee quickly signaled the end of the match as Hinata's opponent couldn't move anymore. The fanfare was short and sweet with Hinata's hand being raised. With all of that out of the way Hinata left the cage and was given a towel by her camp. Using it wipe down the very minimal sweat off her beautifully sculpted body. Using this time Hinata being a woman of the people she would sign some autographs for the people that did come to support her. However, Hinata did spot a fighter she has seen before in Law now in the audience. It was rare to see others come watch Hinata so she took notice when someone did.

As Kameko made her way down from her seat over to the ringside area, she saw Hinata already converse with a group of people she presumed to be her "possy" as she heard these MMA/Boxing types had their own teams. Not unlike managers for wrestlers though ones that came in larger crowds compared to the single manager wrestlers typically had. Even if they wanted them, which Kameko didn't need nor desire but that was getting off topic.

Kameko saw Hinata as she quickly wipped off her sweat before she turned to what she presumed was die hard fans. So the MMA girls had enough matches here to work their own support eh? Kameko herself had a growing fan base either for those that loved to hate her or hated to love her, so the feeling wasn't unusual to see as she had a sly smile watching. This one was even kind enough to sign autographs before she saw those pale eyes scan her direction as she seemed to notice her presence.

This caused her smile to turn to a smirk, good...that made things much easier.

"Don't feel the need to stare, go ahead. Your fans need your attention for the moment I'll be right here. If a moment of your time isn't too much to ask." Kameko said, friendly enough though with a certain attitude about her a spunk if you will as she looked right at Hinata while she hung by the barricade that divided the fans from the stars themselves.

Hinata would be lying if she said that she wasn't suprised when Kameko noticed her stare. It did take her away from her fans currently in front of her.
Why thank you, how kind of you. I'll be with you in a few moments said Hinata as she moved her eyes away from the amazonian looking woman. That now aside Hinata went back to her fans bombarding her with requests.
Hinata Hinata!! Can you sign this for me? Said a female teenager
Of course I can, what is your name? Hinata said with a small chuckle
That same exhange would happen for at least an hour. It is rare for people to be able to communicate with their favorite fighters. But here Hinata was seemingly enjoying her time with everyone. At least making an effort to remember the names of the people.

At the end of it all Hinata would sigh knowing her day wasn't done yet. With that out of the way. Thank you for watiting for me Hinata said as she reached the barricade where Kameko was.

Kameko in kind was a bit annoyed at having to wait, but in all honesty with a clear schedule really she had nothing better to do and it was interesting to see Hinata so she got comfortable and after a freakin hour of waiting finally Hinata seemed to be free enough to come talk to her.

"No worries, you seem to have a large fanclub. I take it you are one of the most popular stars on this whole "MMA" side of L.A.W.?" Kameko asked, more so asking the obvious as that seemed to tie to the general point of why she had come here. Not that she needed to get that across right away. She had waited all this time to get a chat going with Hinata and she was gonna make the most of her time now that she had it to call her own.

Fanclub? Oh I don't know about that Hinata said rather shy about the topic. Surely they are just fans of the sport hoping to support its competitors. Hinata said earnestly about the topic. It wasn't like Hinata had an inflated ego, if anything she often builds up others before herself.

I may be more popular in this sort of setting, though I doubt that. Its more of an exhibition thing. Not taken as seriously as what you know LAW for. Think of it as dipping your toes in the water. Hinata said trying to explain the situation to Kameko. Raising her eyebrows now I take it a girl like you isn't hear just to watch me, what is it you are here for Hinata said being honest.

"Aw, so modest it is almost precious~" Kameko teased, as Hinata seemed like a sweet enough woman but she was not blind to see the fans that stayed for autographs this long were not just general fans of the sport. Though when the topic came to why she came here that friendly smile turned to a sly grin.

"Well, since you asked, I have to admit this whole MMA thingy seemed rather exciting. Not my usual cup of tea being a grappler here but I figure this could give me some excitement. If you are willing to take me on." Kameko said, as she seemed to let out a friendly little challenge to the MMA enthusiast.

...Why thank you Hinata said with a slight blush. Slight teasing showing it still effects Hinata. Just like when she was a kid, getting teased innocently would get to her. Even in adulthood that had not changed, case and point with Kameko right now. Though a sly grin forming from Kameko. Hinata could make a good guess where this goes.

I'm glad you were able to find excitement in my match. Not your cup tea? Surely there are many grapplers in this field. Hinata said even ready to bring in some examples. That is when Kameko brought up taking her on. Ahh, there it is. You challenged me faster than I expected. Though wouldn't a woman of your weight class be better off against someone similar. After All you can see our physical differences

"Typically in wrestling people cross weight classes more often. To great success in many cases, some lightweights could kick the teeth out of weightlifters. But beyond that I figure given I have never done MMA before my weight balances out your greater experience." Kameko said, as she seemed to outline her reasons for why this fight would be fight in spite of the weight class differences between the two.

Though, Kefla smirked, eager to give a more personal reason.

"Also if I am gonna jump head first to this new area, I'd rather take on someone worth while regardless of class. And you seem to fit that description to a T." Kefla added on.

Well that was an eloquent way of putting things. Though as a some helpful advice, your weight isn't everything Hinata said grinning at her opponent as she outlined the reasons as to why they should fight. Thinking like that is why I don't mind fighting people with weight differences. Moving from that Kameko moved to a more personal reason as to wanting the fight.

Thank you for thinking I would be the best one to help you. Hinata said bowing her head a little bit. I do sure hope you know what you are getting into. That aside now, what did you have in mind?
