Melody Hainsworth vs. Raquel Masters

Raquel was strutting through the back of the arena towards the gorilla position with a big grin on her face. She was eager to get in the ring tonight and sweep away some former model in the ring.

Raquel had nothing against Melody and knew very little about her. However she was finally feeling like she was building momentum in her LAW career after 2 years of falling just short of a big push. She heard her music playing and bound out into the arena, skipping along with the smile still wide on her face as the crowd cheered her louder than she ever recalled.

The lean lightweight ran the last bit towards the ring, springing from the floor onto the apron in one leap before grabbing the top rope to vault over the ropes in another leap! She strut around the ring shaking her hips a bit and blowing kisses to the crowd before settling casually into a corner to await her opponent.

Melody was eager to get another match under her belt. So far her LAW tenure had been a fairly muted affair, but it was time to get back to business, and finally get a win on the board against this Raquel woman. Although she knew her opponent had many more matches under her belt, the British beauty was unconcerned. Confidence was key. She needed to believe she could win! Clad in her red-gold leotard, long gloves and boots, she waited for her moment to reenter the spotlight.

Her music Hall of Fame thundered from the speakers and the former model strutted out onto the entrance ramp, putting on her best catwalk as she went. Her hips popped from side to side as she went, smiling and blowing kisses to the crowds, reveling in the attention.

She climbed languidly between the ropes, waving prissily to the LAW fans before facing her opponent.

"You must be Raquel?" Melody chirped politely, sashaying over and extending a hand. "Good luck, darling. May the best woman win!"

Raquel nodded to Melody and shook her hand. "For sure! Good luck." Raquel said as she pulled on the ropes after the handshake. As soon as the bell rang Raquel waste no time in rushing right at Melody and stepping up to swing her left leg into Melody's abdomen, followed by a kick with her right leg to the same spot! If that doubled Melody over Raquel would cap off her trio of strikes by stepping in to a sharp rising elbow strike to the jaw of Melody as the Bostonian wrestler tried to open up the match with a flurry of strikes to begin on the offensive!

Melody delivered her sweetest smile as Raquel returned the good luck gesture before the pair parted, setting up for the start of the match. Once the bell rang, however, that smile quickly faded!

The former fashionista made it barely two steps forward before Raquel came racing across the ring, taking her by surprise with the sheer speed of the advance, and swiping a leg hard into Melody's stomach!

"UNNFFF!" Melody exclaimed in shock as she was winded by the below, but there was no respite. A second kick followed immediately after that doubled her over, leaving her teetering unsteadily as she clutched at her aching midriff. Even worse, once she was in that vulnerable spot, Raquel cracked an elbow across her jaw with enough force to floor the British beauty!

"Unnhhhh... " Melody groaned as she writhed on the ground, head spinning, taken totally off guard by the ferocity of Raquel's opening. She tried to struggle to her knees, desperate to recover before things could get any worse.

Raquel saw Melody beginning to struggle back up and immediately ran towards the ropes behind her as Melody was on her knees. Raquel nuked off, shooting back at her opponent with even more momentum than before. Raquel jumped up and aimed a running dropkick right at the head of the rising Melody in an attempt to hammer her, putting her right back down on the canvas! Raquel wanted to keep her momentum rolling, and didn't want to blow it against Melody. She was out to dominate from start to finish tonight and so far she had done a good job of that.

Melody struggled back to her knees, trying to clear her fogged vision and get her bearings on her opponent. When she saw Raquel, she only had a moment to register surprise before her high-flying rival flew at her with a punishing dropkick. The auburn haired Brit had no chance to avoid the attack.

"AUUGGGHHH!" she cried as Raquel's dropkick slammed into her head, sending the British beauty straight back to the canvas. Melody hit the mat in a heap, clutching her head with both hands, writhing weakly on the ground. She couldn't believe the speed of her adversary. It was becoming quickly apparent that the former model was heavily outmatched in this encounter! Already she lay at Raquel's mercy, head throbbing from the attacks so far.

Raquel was rolling, firing on all cylinders as she got back to her feet. She pulled Melody up by the head, wrapping an arm around it while grabbing a knee. Raquel wanted to keep up the pressure and see how much she had done do Melody already as she appeared to be laid out in short order so far. Raquel screamed as she lift Melody up and sent her back down to the mat with a fisherman suplex! Raquel kept her back bridged and held the hooked leg, keeping Melody in a pinning position after the hard landing on the mat!

Melody was dazed, and she teetered unsteadily as Raquel heaved her upright, locking the auburn-haired angel into a headlock. With frightening quickness, Raquel then hooked Melody's legs and wrenched the model head over heels backwards into a fisherman's suplex!

"AIIGGHH!" Melody screeched as yet again she was planted into the canvas. This time, however, Raquel didn't release her. The other woman stayed in place, bridging her body and pinning Melody already! Oh no... she thought in dismay, knowing she'd barely been in this match for a matter of moments. She couldn't lose so quickly... could she?

With a squeal of desperation, Melody summoned up what strength she had left and kicked, bucking her body at the same time, just hoping she could get out of this pin and avoid a humiliatingly short loss!

"Damn it...." Raquel muttered to herself as she felt Melody kick out after the suplex. Raquel didn't expect it to win but she really had gotten some hope that it would lead to a quick win given how well she had started out. Raquel rose up to her feet and bolted towards the ropes, bouncing off and rocketing back towards Melody. Raquel was aiming to plant her right in the chest with a running missile dropkick as soon as Melody began to rise to her feet! Raquel was a fairly strong woman especially for a lightweight but she was also a very fast woman for any size. She had to keep up on Melody. Keep hitting her fast, and hitting her hard.

Melody might have escaped the pin, but any relief she felt from that achievement didn't last very long. She was still aching all over, and had no idea how she would find any window into match, having been totally outclassed by Raquel from the second she'd entered the ring.

It wasn't about to get any better for the unfortunate Brit, as Raquel wasted no time in continuing the one-sided demolition, bouncing off the far ropes and racing back to smash a missile dropkick into Melody as she struggled upright.

Another screech of pain and Melody was back down on the mats again, coughing for breath, her hair a disheveled mess and cheeks flushed crimson with embarrassment and lack of air. Whimpering in pain, she tried to crawl towards the ropes in a last desperate attempt to gain some respite.
