Kitty Yamato vs Melody Hainsworth

Kitty Yamato sits in the locker room, getting ready for her first match. She is very nervous. She isn't use to performing in front of people. Kitty hopes that her best friend and fellow wrestler, Hoshino Nozomi would stop by to wish her luck. She had her debut a few weeks ago, and encouraged Kitty to come to LAW. Kitty is about to get up and leave the locker room, when she gets a text.

"Greetings Gravity Girl! I hope you have a fun and enjoyable match! I will be watching from the crowd! Don't forget to have an out of this world day!

Kitty smiles. Hoshino is such a wonderful friend. But now it's time to get to the arena.

Gravity Girl

Kitty's music hits and she shyly enters the stage. She looks around, hoping she can see Hoshino, but she can't. She knows her friend is in the crowd however. She smiles and runs down the ramp and to the ring. Lets show off some of those acrobat skills Kitty developed. Kitty runs to the stairs to the ring, jumps on them. She grabs on the corner and pushes herself up into a handstand on the top of the corner. She pushes off and does a somersault in the air and lands on her feet. Their is a small cheer from the crowd and Kitty bows. She then gets in her corner and waits for her opponent to enter.

As the first notes of her entrance music, Hall of Fame burst from the speakers, Melody sashayed out from backstage and took her place at the top of the entrance ramp, pausing for a moment with on hand on her hip, smiling brightly at the crowds. She stood resplendent in her wrestling attire - her red and gold leotard paired with red gloves and thigh boots. Her glossy auburn hair shone in the light.

Putting on her best catwalk, Melody made her way down the entrance ramp, hips swaying, blowing kisses as she went. The British beauty mounted the apron and stepping into the ring, dipping between the middle and bottom ropes before straightening up, both hands raised with index fingers pointing to the sky. Melody then turned her attention to the other wrestler in the ring, Kitty Yamato.

She crossed the ring to face her opponent and held out a hand, smiling politely. "Good luck, my dear. Let's have a clean match!"

Kitty watches as her opponent enters the ring. Melody is very pretty, and makes Kitty feel a bit insecure about her own looks. She doesn't see herself as very pretty. Kitty starts showing her shy timid side, as she looks to the ground. Melody out her hand to shake, and it takes a couple of seconds for Kitty to notice. She looks at Melody's hand, not straight at her face, and sloppy shakes her hand. "Y-Yeah... Lets have... uh... Clean match..." She then returns to looking at her feet. Kitty waits for Melody to return to her own corner and for the bell to ring.

Kitty is starting to feel very nervous. Maybe this wasn't a very good idea. How could she let Hoshino talk her into this? But it's too late back out now. She would make a fool of herself if she just ran away. Maybe she can just let her opponent finish her off quickly and tell Hoshino she is not cut out for this.

Melody watches, a little surprised, as Kitty's eyes turn straight to the floor. It seems like it takes a moment for the slender wrestler to even notice Melody's offer of a handshake, which is a little ill-mannered. Still, the girl looks very nervous, Melody reasons, so she can let that one slide. If anything, Kitty looks like she'd rather be anywhere else.

Oh well, Melody thinks. Looks like I might be in for an easy match! She wouldn't want to underestimate Kitty, but the other wrestler looks terrified, and Melody is still searching for her first win in LAW. No time like the present - hopefully she can take advantage of Kitty's obvious nerves.

Their hands part and Melody swaggers back to her corner, ready to begin the match. She nods to the referee and the bell rings to start them off. Immediately Melody goes on the offensive, rushing out of her corner and attempting a collar-and-elbow tie-up with her opponent.

No! No! Kitty has to at least try. If she doesn't try not only will Hoshino be disappointed in her, but she will be disappointed in herself. No giving up. She can do this. Kitty takes a deep breath and looks up at Melody. She still seems nervous, but a bit less so now.

The bell rings and Kitty slowly moves out of her corner and gets into a stance. Melody rushes at her and attempts to lock up with her. Kitty meets Melody's collar-and-elbow tie-up. Kitty may not be the best at these grapple positions. She will try her hardest to gain the advantage here and takedown her opponent. But Kitty's inexperience, nerves, and lack of strength, may give Melody the upper hand in this one.

The two wrestlers meet as Kitty accepts Melody's lock up. The British beauty grunts with exertion as she pushes against her opponent. Melody can feel that she's got the advantage here as her nervy rookie opponent seems uncomfortable in the grapple.

Alright, Melody! she thinks. Make the most of it! After a moment, Melody attempts to break the grapple and grab Kitty's arm, doing her best to pull her slim opponent into an arm drag and send her crashing into the mats.

Melody gets the advantage on Kitty. Kitty's arm is grabbed and she gets thrown to the ground. Kitty winces from the slight pain of crashing to the mat. She lays on her back, looking up at Melody. She could quickly jump up right away, but she lays on the ground for a couple of seconds taking a deep breath to help calm her nerves a bit more.

If Melody lets her, Kitty will jump up and face Melody. Kitty doesn't want to be grappled again, so instead she goes for a low kick to the back of Melody's knees. She hopes to bring Melody down.

Melody is flushed with success as she executes the throw, tossing her slim opponent to the mat. Kitty hits the ground and stays there, looking up at her. Melody smiles sweetly and puts a hand on her hip, beckoning to the crowds with the other as they cheer. Then she gestures for Kitty to get up.

"Come on, darling," she chirps. "I think you can do better than that!" Then she readies for another grapple.

Kitty bounces upright, but this time, faster than Melody can follow, her rookie opponent swings a low kick at the British wrestler's knees. Caught off guard, Melody has her legs swept out from under her with a cry of surprise before she falls hard onto her back, grimacing in pain.

Kitty smiles as Melody goes down. "Yes!" Kitty cheers, rising her arms. She did it. She knocked another person down. Maybe she can win this after all. She takes the time to celebrate and cheer the crowd, getting a bit of distance away from Melody. She seems to have gained a bit of confidence from her success.

Kitty turns back to Melody, and smiles at her. She waits patiently for Melody to stand up, still keeping her distance from Melody. She gets in a stance ready to go on the attack again. When Melody stands up, Kitty will try to do a riskier move this time. She charges as Melody and jumps up, trying to dropkick Melody.

Melody is furious with herself for being taken off guard so easily. Rubbing her back, she slowly struggles back to her feet, having to hear the crowd cheer her rookie opponent on. She will need to be more careful - despite her obvious nerves this Kitty is quick!

She gets unsteadily to her feet and is halfway into her wrestling stance when suddenly Kitty is flying across the ring towards her again. Melody only has a moment to react, and the British beauty hesitates for a second. That is all that is needed for her opponent to land a crushing dropkick squarely against Melody's chest.

"UNNGH!" she cries, sent stumbling back by the impact until she hit the turnbuckle. Struggling for breath, she leans against the corner, arms flung over the top ropes as she tries to recover before Kitty can press her advantage.
