Four Corner Slugfest- Kyoko Akan vs Amaya Shizuko

Four Corner's Match: The girls are tied together with a strap and the first person to drag there opponent with them to all 4 corners and tag the turnbuckle wins.

Kyoko had been taking any match she could, trying to show the world she wasnt affected by the results of the PPV. That she was the one in control still and that she was still better then everyone. She had been telling herself that more often now as well, like she was having a hard time believing it. It was a sick feeling, to constantly doubt yourself despite knowing you possessed all the tools necessary to win. But she couldnt stop now, this match was agaisnt someone who was new to LAW and Kyoko would be her second match, before it was insulting but without her belt it was just a cheap win for her to take advantage of.

Kyoko was back out in force, a bit more cocky then her last outing, she knew that if she wanted things to return to normal she would need to start acting like things were fine not just telling people it was. She did her usual cocky strut down to the ring not letting the boos of the crowd bother her in anyway, she knew how best to work a crowd into a frenzy when she wanted too but today in particular she was blocking them out, it was just her and her alone to make the best of this situation. Kyoko was in the ring at the ready, marching around like the fight coming couldnt come soon enough.

Soon enough, the music of relative L.A.W. newcomer sounded through the crowed and sure enough Amaya had made her way from the back to the entrance stage; she gazed upon the crowd, who seemed to have more of a reaction than her debut as her win had given the crowd notice though not to the level of open disdain but reactive response that her opponent managed to cultivate. Not that Amaya cared for that, as despite this being but her second match she gazed upon the crowd and the ring with an intense gaze matched by a ten-year vet.

Amaya was not shocked much that she was taking on someone the star power of Kyoko in only her second match, and seemed to show no fear or hesitation as she walked towards the ring with this commanding aura about her as she made her way through the runway and climbed into the ring; stepping through the middle rope as this time there had been no shame to concern over given she wore her proper attire this time as she moved to the middle of the ring and her eyebrows frowned as she intensely gazed all around her to the packed crowd...before she turned to her opponent Kyoko and made it clear she would not back down all without saying a word.

Kyoko watched the women coming down to the ring. Amaya was a new girl who tried to carry herself around like some vet, but Kyoko wasnt about to act like she was anything special, especially since her win wasnt even over anyone Kyoko knew, just some chick that didnt know her place, wanting to fit in a place she would find herself quickly out of if she made the mistake of disrespecting her.

"I hope you dont think staring at me like your serious is going to change the results of this match very much." Kyoko said, wondering how she would reply, not that it mattered. She made the mistake of accepting a match with her after what Da Xia did at the PPV, there was nothing that ended well for anyone in that position now. The ref came in with the long leather strap that would be put on one of there arms to keep them together, which Kyoko nonchalantly brought her hand out to let the strap put on.

At first Amaya had opted not to say anything, as she simply extended her own hand out to receive the strap much as Kyoko had done before her. It seemed clear to Amaya that Kyoko was trying to get a reaction out of her but the veteran had yet to cause Amaya's cold expression to so much as flinch as she locked eyes with her.

"No, you will lose irregardless of my expressions." Amaya replied simply, her tone conveyed conviction as she didn't seem to care this was but her second match she had a belief to her that she was gonna win this and her tone seemed to imply it had been all but a sure thing. Which was a bold prospect to say the least.

Oh great, this woman was going to stare her to death and call it a day. Such a boring little convicted person would just break or deny the results when she found herself outclassed. At least it was fun seeing the cocky bitches cry when things fell apart, with someone like Amaya she'd just get a look of disbelief before she was knocked down again. But a wins a win, so she would have to endure off the thrill of beating her down alone.

"Your expressions are just like your words. Easily changed when it meets some real force. If you know who I am your an idiot if your that sure of yourself." Kyoko cracked her knuckles and watched Amaya, pulling on the strap next to test how strong they were. It was clear it was secured on her enough it wouldnt be going anywhere, until she had beaten Amaya she wouldnt be getting away from her.

Amaya would not budge even as the strap that connected them had been pulled by Kyoko. Amaya remained firm as the strap held strong, seems neither of them were going anywhere for the foreseeable future.

Which had been no concern for Amaya, whose cold and determined expression remained unchanged even with Kyoko's words.

"I know exactly what you are. A stepping stone. Nothing more, now are you ready to start or do you desire to try to talk me into submission?" Amaya asked Kyoko, as she made her rather bold claim to the veteran as this relative newcomer had no shortage of self belief as she seemed prepared to go and exemplified this point with a tug of the strap.

Amaya ducked the question by using the most cliché and annoying response in history. 'Your a stepping stone' and 'Your not worth knowing that' all had been pathetic little diversions or insults to direct at her, she had heard them all and she had left people who said them crying or knocked out. Amaya was lucky in that she didnt need to leave her foe in any bad shape she just had to win.

"I dont decide when we start, nor do I need to talk you into submission, but you'll prefer the sound of my voice to my fists soon enough." In fact shortly after that the bell did ring and the match would start. Kyoko's eyes would turn back to Amaya and she would move in towards the new fighter while also pulling on the strap again to try and force her in close and throw her off balance a bit.

Amaya cared little for what this woman said or thought, she might have been new here but she meant to honor her own words irregardless of who her opponent was. So she was quite prepared when Kyoko tried to throw her off balance with a tug of the strap.

Amaya would firmly have her feet locked, keeping her balance, and she would aim to tug back in kind on the strap, though rather than just pull with her bound arm she would use her free hand to grab the strap as she tried to yank Kyoko towards her with a sudden counter tug.

Amaya's stance was firm and she didnt falter easily but Kyoko was still moving in close afterwards, this made the slack on the distance between them looser so when Amaya tried to counter tug against her it didnt force Kyoko off balance instead she kept coming in close to meet Amaya head on, looking to ready to push against her. Though she still had a plan.

While getting close to lock up was part of the plan she grabbed part of the strap between her and Amaya and actually tried to throw it up and hook it around Amaya's head looking to use it to pull her in a bit as she tossed a knee up to stop Amaya in the gut.

However, as the strap was pulled and worked to wrap around Aamya's neck she seemed to already have an answer at hand and responded with shocking quickness; as she would shift her body to the side and move her head to avoid the rope around her neck out of risk and her body out of the path of the charging Kyoko.

Not just that, but she saw an opening as she stuck her leg out to the side to trip Kyoko who was focused on her knee strike and at least momentarily would be left on one leg as she hoped to trip up her opponent as she charged.
