A Double Debut - Kayla Grant vs. Ayana Prarie

The audience was on the edge of their seats for what was sure to be an exciting event. The next match scheduled was to be a double debut, with both women in the ring making their first appearances in LAW. Nobody had any idea of what to expect - except for anyone who had been following other promotions, of course, but considering how far these two had come, it wouldn't be likely such a spectator would be looking on. Whatever the case was, this was a match where anything could happen, and the crowd was eager to welcome the newcomers to their new league.

"Coming first, and making her debut in a LAW ring! At 5'5, weighing 133 pounds, from Los Angeles, California...KAYLA GRANT!

Kayla stepped out onto the entrance ramp to greet the arena, flashing a grin at the crowd as she lifted her arms to urge on the cheers. A few seconds later, her partner Ashley Daniels stepped out at her side, exchanging a high-five as they got ready to make their entrance. "We got this!" she cheered.

"You mean I've got this," Kayla had to correct the redhead. Although the two had joined as a tag team, both were still perfectly willing to compete in singles matches - and such was the case here, as Kayla was going to face off against another newcomer. However, they were still a team, and Ash had begged to come, so Kayla had to oblige - as her partner, she would be accompanying her to the ring, but she wasn't to interfere. Kayla hoped she'd take that to heart.

As the lights flared, the two girls made their way towards the ring, posing for the fans to snap a few quick pictures and high-fiving some of those at ringside as they worked up the energy. As soon as they got to the ring, though, Kayla slid in under the ropes and took her place, putting her fists together and rolling out the kinks in her neck to ready herself. As much as her friend liked to have fun with her wrestling career, Kayla still took herself seriously, and she intended to give her fellow debutee a match accordingly. As Ash took her place in Kayla's corner, leaning against the ring post, Kayla pumped a fist in the air. "Are we ready?"

"Ok... Ok... You got this..." Came a slightly stumbling voice from just behind the entry door to the arena, Aryana would council herself as she began to get more and more on edge the closer she knew her turn was up. She couldn't see her opponent but certainly heard the crowds response to her, clearly enjoying them as she made her way to the entrance.

Shifting side to side in her uniform, it's familiar feel offering slight comfort to her, despite its form fitting tightness, Ayana would manage to stop visibly shaking by the time her name was called.

And standing at 5"9 and weighing in at 164Ibs, the one, the only, AYANA PRARIE!

Hearing her entrance theme begin to play, Ayana would quickly fumble about before finally heading out to the opening and make her way down the ramp, while she was used to crowds in her previous work, nothing topped what she saw, hundreds of approving fans roaring down support to the newcomer, not used to the feeling Ayana would sort of hide her face from them as she made her way to the ramp, face mildly flushing red as the cheers grew louder by the fans that were behind her. Her pony tail waving like a sheepish horses as she felt a small amount of embarrassment, But she walked on all the same. Climbing up onto the ring, finally gazing at the audience, Ayana managed a tiny wave and a small smile to them, before bending over and climbing into the ring.

Finally meeting her opponent, she would slowly gaze up and down her body, avoiding eye contact but still at least trying to get a grasp on what her opponent was like. Before turning around and heading to her corner in a slow but earnest walk. Before relaxing on it with her arms crossed, and waiting for things to get rolling. Her brief look failing to notice the company her opponent had brought along with her, but she was too shy to look up just yet. seemingly having a conversation with herself with the slight head tilts she do. You CAN do this...!

With Ayana entering the arena, Kayla stood back, leaning her back against the ropes as she scoped out her opponent. As befitting a debut for the both of them, this woman was someone she had no knowledge of beforehand, and she didn't know what to expect. Still, as she made her way towards the ring, this Ayana seemed almost...hesitant. She didn't move with that rush of bold defiance and fighting spirit that she was used to seeing from her fellow wrestlers, and she looked almost like she didn't want to be here. For a moment, Kayla felt a twinge of sympathy, and she raised an eyebrow with a concerned frown. If Ayana really felt this badly about the match she was getting herself into she didn't want to go too hard on her.

But Kayla was still a serious wrestler. She didn't go easy on anyone. And if Ayana was as much as a rookie as she looked, she wouldn't get a very accurate assessment of the sort of things she'd be dealing with in the league if Kayla held back. She wasn't one to compromise her principles, and she wouldn't do it here. She just hoped Ayana knew what she was getting herself into.

As Ayana entered the ring, Kayla stepped forward to greet her opponent. In a show of goodwill, she would hold out a hand, hoping that she might be able to ease Ayana into things. At the very least, Kayla wasn't one to pick on her opponents' obvious weaknesses. "Hope we have a good match," she said. Ashley, meanwhile, sized up her partner's foe, raising an eyebrow as the girl stepped over. "Nice..." she muttered.

Seems that despite her previous involvement with more public showcasing and performing, Ayana still seemed to suffer from stage fright, though never to this extreme. Usually she could shake it and be back to her normal cheery self, but this was bigger then anything she had ever tried. And possibly would every try. However, knowing what she had at stake should she back down, finishing her moral pep talk, Ayana would stand up a little straighter, her heart still racing but now longer completely uncomfortable.

Hearing footsteps draw near Ayana finally looked up at her opponent, getting her first actual good look at her, Ayana could sense the seriousness coming off of the girl, with the way she carried herself, and the sportsman like handshake she offered while in the centre. Seems the confidence was contagious, Ayana visibly relaxing a bit at her worry of what she would be up against for her first time. In a far more life filed stride, Ayana would walk towards the centre to meet Kayla, accepting her handshake with a respectful nod of her head. Ayana did notice the slight size difference between her and Kayla, considering Ayana only barely fitted in the middle weight department, but she quickly disregarded such thoughts, size doesn't always matter.

Though out of the corner of her eye, she did finally see ash, though unsure of what she said, she didn't fully trust the look in the red-heads eye. But shrugging it off Ayana would turn back to Kayla. "Y-yes, same to you" Ayana would reply, in a shy but slightly powerful tone. Her worries diminishing somewhat while greeting her opponent.

Ayana took Kayla's hand, and she smiled a little to her, giving her a nod to accept the mutual greeting. She too had made note of her opponent's larger size, and it had crossed her mind how this would affect their match, but compared to the anxiety she could feel radiating from the raven-haired woman she didn't seem as concerned. Nevertheless, Kayla swallowed a breath, prepared to press on. She couldn't hold back now.

DING DING DING

At last the bell sounded, officially bringing the match to its start. Her eyes narrowing in a defiant gaze, Kayla started to get into a fighting stance. "Well, here goes," she said. "I just hope you're prepared," she added afterwards, more to herself than anything else, but still out loud. In any case, Kayla motioned to lock up with Ayana and begin their match!

Ayananwas unsure how to feel, one the one hand she certainly had the size advantage, being a good 30 Ibs heavier and almost half a foot taller, helped ease her nervousness a bit more. But the confidence and the sportsmen like attitude displayed by her really put her at ease. Though still anxious she could at least muster some courage and give a quiet but intense and determined stare back, nodding in response to her opponents words.

Ayana would accept the lock up challenge, approaching with her hands raised to meet Kayla, locking up with her, Ayana would test the waters to judge kaylas strength, a growing feeling of warmth growing inside her. She wondered if she should try taking initiative at the start. thinking of what to do next, if fast enough and won the test of strength, Ayana would take a bold move, spurred by her slowly renewed confidence and attempt toss itch from push to pull, suddenly pulling Kayla towards her, hoping to stagger her with a sudden chest and belly bump right to her head, hoping to get an opening. Before rushing at her to make a football like tackle. Wanting to make some headway at the start.

As soon as their collars and elbows were locked, the match was truly on. Kayla's gaze narrowed in focus as she started to circle around with Ayana, the two pacing around the ring. It certainly did seem like Ayana had readied herself now that the match began, and Kayla could feel the confidence in her steps and her grip. It came as a relief, she thought, to know that her opponent wouldn't truly be hopeless after all. She might be able to give her a good match yet, and she might be able to go far if she set her mind to it.

"Yeah, kick her ass, Kay!" Ashley cheered from the corner. Kayla, however, paid her no regard, her focus on her opponent. However, even then, Ayana had her surprises, and she would manage to catch Kayla off her guard. She had been so used to her opponent's nervousness that she wasn't anticipating her to start things off by pulling Kayla closer and throwing her body into hers, and with a yelp the Californian was left stunned, staggering a bit as Ayana's weight came crashing against her. From there, it wouldn't be hard for Ayana to ride onwards on this momentum, tackling Kayla down and causing her to land on her back.

Ayana was impressed by the determination and the strength of Kayla, considering there size difference the fact she held her own was very impressive, and Ayana had to give respect for that. Though she had different thoughts upon hearing her opponents friend make that little quip, Ayana still trying to ignore the poor sizing choice the lower half of her uniform had been bestowed with.

Afterwords, Ayana's plan would work, her body check causing Kayla to stumble backwards allowing Ayana to rush in and tackle her to the ground. Quickly but roughly dropping her considerable *ahem* asset onto Layla's chest, Ayana's inexperience with straight out combat would begin to show Ashe just sort of sat there for a second, pondering what to do, giving Kayla a moment to recuperate and possibly counter attack.

If Kayla was to slow however, Ayana would try to scoot forward a bit, so her rear would rest on Kayla's chest, wiggling a bit to get comfy, worming her legs around her arms to keep them pinned, but not having her shoulders on the ground for a pin, at least Ayana knew that a pin know was counter productive. After wrapping her legs, she would reach back and slowly pull one of kaylas legs upwards and overextend it towards her head. While Ayana may not know many moves, she at least knew how limbs were not meant to bend.

Kayla was down, and Ayana would be quick to capitalize on it. With the brunette still trying to catch her breath, Ayana would follow by dropping down onto her chest, her rear squashing down atop her bust. Kayla let out a scream from the impact, already winded from the fall she had taken, and this wasn't helping matters. She started to pant to get the air back in her lungs, and somewhat luckily, she noticed that Ayana seemed to be just as confused as she was, sitting there and leaving her with a moment to try and recuperate. As she came to her senses, Kayla tried to get her hands pressed against the ground at her sides to see if she could brace herself, attempting to push herself back up and wriggle free.

However, Kayla couldn't get very far, as Ayana held the weight advantage, and it would take more than that for Kayla to free herself from a predicament like this. Furthermore, Ayana wasn't quite finished with her, as she began to wrap her legs in place around Kayla's arms to hold them down before pulling up on her leg. At first, Kayla was stunned - for someone who seemed so nervous, Ayana really knew her holds, more so than she had expected! But that would soon be cut off by a hiss of pain, as she felt the pressure against her limb. Hissing and clenching her teeth, Kayla tried to fight back in the only way she could think of. She only had a leg to use, but she would try and kick it up in the hopes of landing it against Ayana's stomach.

Having been sitting on Kayla doing nothing, besides the moan if displeasure from Kayla Ayana's opponent didn't seem to be as keep on reacting as she thought. But that would soon change as Kayla began to try and bridge out of the seat Ayana made out of her wide open chest, though Ayana's weight advantage swiftly made that less the possible.

After pinning her opponents arms, and Reaching back and beginning to stretch her opponents leg forward Ayana would watch as the further she moved the leg forward the more distraught Kayla became, she wasn't even sure this was a move, she just knew that it would hurt, also she decided to wing it. After bending until her foot quite humorously was a foot away from her face, Ayana was content to stay like that as she thought of what else to do, before a sudden hard and sharp pain stabbed her stomach, letting out a quiet *mmmghn* as she had her lungs squished inwards, almost thrown off of kaylas stomach, Ayana would attempt to keep her footing, before steadying out. She had a target, the legs, but how would she deal with them, while Kayla remained on her back, Ayana would attempt to grab one of her opponents legs once more, if successful and Kayla didn't escape, she'd aim a swift kick to the back of the knee hoping the pain would stun kayla enough so she could grab her other leg. If she managed to do this, Ayana wold kneel down, holding a leg in each hand, and try to use her upper body strength to force kaylas legs apart, causing her to do the spits at a awkward angle. However, through all of this, the pain in her gut would cause her to move slower then normal, and make more sloppy movements, easily readable if watched.

Looking down, Ayana would let slip a mutter, "how come her uniform fits right?" In a mild complaint. Though Ayana forgot that in a test of strength, legs tend to beat arms no matter who's they are.
