The lights hit as Christina's new logo would appear...The instrumental beat of Panalo hit the speakers, and the crowd came alive. Christina Perez emerged from the curtain, her movements smooth and rhythmic as she danced her way down the ramp, the trap beat echoing her pulse. Every step radiated confidence — not arrogance, but the composure of someone who had fought her way up through grit and pride.

Sliding into the ring, she stood tall in the center and called for a mic. The roar of the crowd faded into an expectant hush as she brought it to her lips, her brown eyes scanning the arena.

“L.A.W.,”

she began, her voice clear and commanding,

“you all know who I am — The Fighting Filipina. And tonight, I’m doing what I do best: I’m fighting. Doesn’t matter who steps up, doesn’t matter what division they’re from. I’m putting out an open challenge to anyone who thinks they can hang with me.”

She paused, pacing slowly, the spotlight following her every step.

“But before anyone comes running out here… let me say this.”

Her tone deepened, the confidence now laced with emotion.

“People call me The Fighting Filipina like it’s just a catchy name. But it’s not. It’s a promise. It’s who I am. Every time I step into this ring, I fight for that name — for my people, for everyone back home who thinks they can’t rise up. I fight because that’s what I was born to do.”

Christina stopped mid-ring, lifting her chin as the crowd roared louder.

“So when I say I’m ready to fight anyone, I mean it. You can be a rookie, a veteran, or a champion. Step through those ropes and you’ll find out what The Fighting Filipina is all about.”

The crowd erupted as Christina smirked, spreading her arms wide.

“Now…”

she said, turning toward the ramp,

“who’s got the heart to answer me tonight?”

She tossed the mic lightly between her hands, pretending she didn’t know exactly who was coming — but deep down, she could already picture the green-haired Texan waiting behind that curtain, ready to make things interesting.

Not even a second after Christina finished speaking did the music of another competitor suddenly blasted around the arena with the crack of lightning. A sound and score that was familiar to all in LAW and surely no surprise for the woman in the ring as as the person answering her open challenge appeared from the backstage area at the top of the ramp.
Spoiler
Spotlight shining down to illuminate her form Alizeh would smile out at the crowd for a second, feeling a pleasant type of energy in the arena tonight. More so than normal at least since she was about to step into what she knew would be an amazing match. Walking down the ramp towards the ring, her grey and organ clad attire shining under the lights while her green ponytail bounced side to side until she hopped onto the apron and the slipped between the ropes into the ring.

Turning to face Christina face to face Alizeh would give the woman a small smile before taking a few steps towards her and holding a hand up to the woman in a friendly display, offering a hand shake. "Ready to answer the challenge. Hope you're ready to lose." Alizeh said in a light yet confident tone, her eyes glinting with competitive light.

Christina’s gaze flicked down to Alizeh’s outstretched hand, then slowly rose to meet the Texan’s confident smile. The Filipina’s expression hardened into something sharp, that cool composure now replaced by the unmistakable glint of a fighter about to strike.

“You want that handshake?”

she asked evenly, her voice steady but carrying that underlying fire that made the crowd lean in closer.

“Then we do this match right here, right now. Not Tomarrow, not next week or next show. No prep. No warm-up. You came out here to answer my challenge, right? Then you better be ready to back up those words the second that bell rings.”

The mic dropped from her hand, hitting the canvas with a heavy thud that echoed through the arena. Christina rolled her shoulders once, loosening up, the energy radiating off her enough to make the audience buzz louder.

She stepped closer, just within arm’s reach, her tone dropping to a near growl.

“I don’t shake hands before a fight… unless the fight’s about to start.”

Then, with a fierce, deliberate motion, she extended her hand — palm open, eyes locked on Alizeh’s.

“So, what’s it gonna be, Midori?”

she challenged, her smirk returning.

“You still wanna fight me now or are you gonna chicken out?"

Alizeh had come out and answered Christina's challenge, not showing the slightest hint of fear or anticipation towards the woman before her and without a second thought offered her hand out to Christina to accept her challenge. However it would seem the fighting fillipina wanted to make sure Alizeh was ready for this since the moment she accepted the hand shake the match would start.

Even dropping the mic down and moving closer to the greentte to practically growl out the next few words towards the Emerald Storm but the green haired wrestler just continued to smile, her upturned lips narrowing only slightly into a competitive smirk as Christina now extended her hand out.

"Bring it on." Alizeh said confidently before dropping the mic herself before she reached out and took a firm hold of Christina's hand, giving a firm shake in the process before dropping it and taking a step back while putting her fists up in preparation for the bout ahead.

The crowd was roaring now, the energy so thick it almost felt alive as the referee hurriedly slid into the ring, signaling for the timekeeper. Christina didn’t take her eyes off Alizeh for a second — not even when the bell hadn’t yet rung. Her body was coiled with purpose, her breathing slow and controlled, her focus absolute.

When the referee stepped between them, ordering both women to their corners to make it official, Christina gave a slow nod. She backed away but never broke eye contact with Alizeh, that same competitive smirk lingering on her face.

She grabbed the top rope with both hands and pulled, stretching her shoulders and rolling her neck side to side. Her muscles tensed, her body loose but ready, and her lips moved just enough for Alizeh to catch her words across the ring.

“Let’s see if that confidence holds up, Midori.”

DING DING!

The match was on.

Christina stepped out of her corner immediately, her movements smooth and deliberate as she began circling Alizeh. Each step was measured, her brown eyes locked onto her opponent’s frame, reading every twitch, every subtle shift in stance.

Her fingers flexed, hands raising — a clear signal of what she wanted. She leaned slightly forward, knees bent, inviting Alizeh to meet her in the center. Christina wasn’t hiding her intentions; she wanted to test the Emerald Storm up close.

The crowd’s anticipation built as Christina smirked, her voice just loud enough for the cameras to catch:

“Come on then… let’s see what you’ve got.”

With that, she lunged forward, arms up and ready — challenging Alizeh to lock up and start the fight the only way The Fighting Filipina knew how: head-on.

Alizeh had accepted the handshake that would make this bout official with no hesitation whatsoever, her smirk never fading in the same way as Christina's which only made Alizeh all the more excited.

Additionally the crowd was also making their own excitement known as they cheered and whooped while the two fighters made their way to their respective corners. Leaning against her own and puffing her chest out a bit Alizeh would take a calming breath in preparation for what was to come, exhaling out with a small smile as she focused once more on the opponent across from her.

"Bring it on." Alizeh said in a soft tone not caring if Christina heard her or not. Bounding forward out of her corner and circling Christina for only a moment before the Fighting Filipina charged forward seemingly for a lock up! Something that Alizeh would happily meet Christina head on, hands locking up with the woman and pushing against her with everything she right out of the gate engaging in a full on test of strength!

Christina pushed into the lock-up with full force, shoulders squared and boots digging into the canvas as she and Alizeh strained against one another. Muscles tightened, neither woman giving an inch, the crowd roaring as their strength collided dead center in the ring.

Then Christina shifted.

A slight pivot of her hips. A subtle slide of her right foot. Her grip changed just enough...

And suddenly she snapped free, hooking Alizeh’s wrist and yanking it downward.

In one fluid motion, Christina spun beneath the green-haired wrestler’s arm, twisting it sharply inward. The lock-up broke, replaced instantly by a tight wristlock cinched against Christina’s chest. She planted her feet and gave a hard crank, forcing Alizeh onto the balls of her feet!

Christina stayed low and anchored, her movements efficient and deliberate. Another twist. A firm torque of the wrist. Pressure running straight from Alizeh’s hand through her shoulder!

she was targeting that arm early!

Reaching towards Christina and locking up with the woman both middleweights began pushing with everything they had against each other, neither woman willing to bend or give ground in this early into the match. However credit where it was due to Christina the woman was rather clever with her tactics, turning and bending Alizeh's arm around into a tight arm lock, restraining the emerald storm early on with the Fighting Filipina only bearing down even more on her.

Gritting her teeth for a moment Alizeh would hiss and groan softly before shaking her head. "Pretty good... but not good enough!" Alizeh said with determination as she ducked forward, rolling through to untwist her arm while simultaneously reaching up to grab at Christina's hands and as she did so she would twist with the momentum while pulling Christina's arm to try and pull the woman over herself and down to the mat with a deep arm drag!

Christina felt the shift a split second too late. Alizeh ducked through, the pressure on the wrist loosening as momentum carried Christina forward. With a sharp tug, Alizeh snapped her arm across her body and sent her flipping over the hip—

THUMP.

Christina hit the mat cleanly off the arm drag, rolling through the impact on instinct. The crowd reacted at the exchange, but Christina was already moving. She planted a boot, pushed up to one knee, then rose smoothly back to her feet before Alizeh could press the advantage.

She rolled her shoulder once, then cracked her neck to the side, loosening the tension left behind from the twist. No frustration. No hesitation. Just focus.

Christina took a few steps back toward center ring, resetting her stance. She raised her arms again, elbows out, fingers open—clear as day what she wanted.

Another lock-up.

Her eyes stayed on Alizeh the entire time as she circled once, calm and composed, the faintest hint of a smirk tugging at her lips. Christina dipped her knees slightly, weight centered, ready to engage again.

No words this time.

Just an open invitation to collide once more.

Successful with the clever escape from Christina's arm lock hold Alizeh would proceed to then get back up, wanting to try and capitalize only to see that Christina had managed to roll through and get away making Alizeh smile softly at how quick on her feet the Fighting Filipina was. Standing back up as Christina did the asme Alizeh would watch the brunette as she returned to the center of the ring, knees bent and hands up for another lock up which only made Alizeh smile a bit wider.

"Want some more already huh?" Alizeh said teasingly as she took the same stance, approaching the woman and holding her arms out, locking hands with Christina's own and beginning to push forward with all her might, trying to keep Christina from executing any quick strategies or moves unlike before by making this into a full on test of strength!
