Saying Hello to the Amazon (for Highfly)

The crowd was bustling with excitement tonight; nothing formal had been announced on who would be facing off in the next match, but strong hints had been left that it would be between two of the more powerful ladies in the LAW roster. Given that LAW had a generous number of female powerhouses in its roster, that could have been literally anyone, and speculation was rife.

They did not have to wait long for the first competitor to show up, though, as her theme song quickly blared. A second later, with a burst of pyrotechnics, Erika "LaDestroyer" LaVoy came striding into the arena, pausing to grin and do a flex at the top of the ramp!

Striding down the ramp, the blonde powerhouse smiled and excitedly hi-fived audience members. She was riding high after her first few matches in LAW, and her massive build, upbeat personality and friendly demeanour were quickly winning her fans in the LAW crowd. Sliding under the ropes, Erika hopped to her feet and jogged on her feet a little, before stretching and flexing for the crowd, playing off her muscle girl archetype for all it was worth. After a few seconds of showboating, however, she gestured to the ref girl, who passed her a microphone.

"KONNICHIWA, KYOTO!" she shouted, somewhat mangling the pronunciation, though the cheers of the fans meant that they didn't seem to particularly mind. "It's GREAT to see you all here! I've only been here a few weeks, but YOU ALL--" she gestured to the crowd "-- have been amazing! I have fought all over the world-- in my home of Canada, in the US, in Mexico, in Germany, in the UK, but you all...YOU have to be one of the best crowds I've ever fought in front of!"

She paused, allowing the crowd to erupt into applause at this, before continuing. "Now, so far, things have been great here in LAW!" she went on. "I have been sent into two great matches against two really strong opponents! But you know what? I WANT MORE!" She stomped the mat once for emphasis. "I was told that LAW had a TON of great female wrestlers in their roster! And here I am, twiddling my thumbs, waiting for a decent matchup after those first two! And you know what? I'm getting impatient!"

She then turned to face the direction of the arena ramps. "Are yall hearing me in there?" she shouted. "Send me one of your absolute best for me to fight! I don't care who, I just want it to be one of your best, one of your strongest! Because whoever you send, I want to show all these great people here that I can TAKE her!"

The LAW Heavyweight Champion was ready for a fight tonight and when a mountain of a woman was in the ring issuing a challenge Alaina was more than happy to step out to the ring. Erika was a hell of a physical specimen and Alaina was eager to see what she could do. The 50 year old champion grinned and as she made her way through the halls towards the gorilla position.

Erika didn't have to wait long after issuing her challenge when Alaina's music hit and the LAW Heavyweight Champion came out clad in her two piece leopard print attire flexing her biceps with her title belt over her shoulder. She smiled and walked towards the ring high fiving fans with a big grin on her face. She climbed up the apron and through the ropes locking eyes with Erika. "You wanted more? You got it." Alaina said simply as she handed her title over to the official. She stepped closer and flexed her biceps tensing up her body to highlight her figure. "If you think you are woman enough to handle the champ then we'll have us a nice match. If you are all gym muscle and mouth? This will be a quick warmup." Alaina said as she stepped back looking ready to go as she waited for the bell to ring.

Erika'a jaw nearly dropped when she saw who came striding down that ramp. The leopard print outfit. The confident attitude. The freaking title belt being carried over her shoulder.

No mistaking it. It was her. The heavyweight champion. Alaina Freaking Sanders.

Erika tried not to let her excitement get the better of her as Alaina walked down the ramp and slid into the ring. She had watched plenty of matches, but even if she hadn't, everyone with the vaguest awareness of LAW knew who Alaina Sanders was. The veteran powerhouse was practically one of the faces of the league. Her raw power and her sheer winning record were the stuff of legends. Erika had freaking cheered her on, watching her heavyweight boots. And now...

Deep breaths, Erika, deep breaths

She tried to focus as Alaina faced her down. "Oh, I'm more than woman enough for you, champ," she said, trying to hide the nerves from her voice and from her smile And then the bell rang. Erika allowed herself to go into the motions, trying to let instinct override just how surreal a moment this was as she motioned Alaina for a lockup...

Alaina saw the new woman staring a hole through her. She may not have expected Alaina, but the amazon is what she got! Alaina heard the bell and saw Erika looking to lock up. The 5'9'' 187lb champ was more than happy to oblige! Alaina stepped in and was giving it her all to try to drive Erika back first against a turnbuckle hoping to kick things off by overpowering the young woman. Alaina was straining, her whole body trembling as she gave it everything she had to try to overpower Erika.

The bell rang, and in an instant, the two powerhouse women were grappling. Erika grunted as Alaina powered against her like a bulldozer, actually forcing her back several steps! Gritting her teeth, Erika dug her boots into the mat and anchored herself, throwing all of her weight into pushing back against Alaina. For a few seconds, the two women were deadlocked, muscles grinding against one another, arms quivering as they strained. For a brief second, it seems that an unstoppable force had met an immovable object.

"W..wow!" Erika gasped, grinning despite the strain. "You...really ARE strong! This is gonna be great!" Suddenly breaking the grapple, Erika moved to grab a hold of Alaina's arm with with both hands and swing, hoping to whip Alaina across the ring...and hoping to run right into her with a brutal clothesline as she came back!

Alaina was straining when she felt herself grabbed and sent running to the ropes! As she bounced off she saw Erika setting up for something and extending her arm. Instead of dodging or doing anything else the amazon picked up speed running as quickly as she could! She was going to try to lower her shoulder and smash right into Erika if she could looking to surprise the young wrestler. However if Erika adjusted and held firm Alaina's momentum could work against her. It was a gamble but one Alaina was willing to take!

Erika had hoped that she could catch Alaina by surprise with her clothesline. To her surprise, however, accelarated and dropped low, ramming a shoulder hard into her midsection. The Canadian girl's eyes widened as the blow caused her to gasp and stagger; Alaina's momentum sent her staggering backwards, sending her sprawling into the ropes! She took a breath through clenched teeth. Guess I know why she's the champ, she thought gingerly.

As Erika staggered back the amazon was already giving chase. Alaina was wasting no time in making this a very physical battle and she saw no reason to stop! She was moving forward as quickly as she could while extending her arm now hoping to clothesline Erika over the top rope to the outside! Erika did issue an open challenge and Alaina wanted to really welcome her to LAW as best she could while also reminding her that there was a reason the heavyweight champion was 50 and it wasn't because she was given a pity title reign.

As she staggered back into the ropes, Erika made sure to keep her eyes on Alaina. And sure enough, Alaina was already rushing at her, arm raised and extended for a clothesline that would probably have taken her head off if it connected, such was the force that was coming at her.

Trying to time her reaction just right, Erika suddenly charged forward, ducking under the extended arm and spinning around to face Alaina's back. If all went according to plan, she would wrap her arms around the champion's midsection and drop back, aiming to catch her with surprise with a simple but effective German suplex!

That didn't go as planned. It didn't even go well, it ended up as a total disaster for the amazon! Alaina swung and missed feeling herself grabbed from behind. She reached down to try to pry herself free but she was already lifting off the mat. Alaina crashed hard to the mat letting out a groaned ad she flopped and rolled to her side cradling her head in her arms!
