Uneven Debuts - Troia Smith (d) vs. Vermeil (d)

(This is a match that was played over Discord with user Kassia. I am putting it out post-for-post for ease of reading, so each response will be posted by me. Troia’s POV was written by me, and Vermeil’s POV was written by Kassia.)

Troia wanted to show what we could do. To herself, to the audience… and most importantly, to Florence. But perhaps this was a challenge a bit above her pay grade.

She had marched herself into the office demanding an opportunity in the ring, and almost wickedly, she got told they have someone just in mind for her. It seems they didn’t look too favorably on the sidekick of the most annoying influencer on the roster, and gave her quite the challenge to first go up against.

Vermeil, a woman 8 inches taller than her, and known for being a very strong powerhouse. Troia was… nervous, but she couldn’t back out now - she had already told Florence that she was going to get her own viral photos and clips during her debut, and telling her she backed out because she was scared? That would be a death sentence to ever getting a chance to wrestle again!

So standing in the ring now, Troia just had to suck it up. Work out a strategy to defeat this beast. And most importantly, look good while doing it, sporting a cocky smile on her face as she stood with her hands on her hips. Looking as confident as ever that she’d be able to beat this big bitch… and not being so confident on the inside.

As Vermeil finished up her last few stretches in the locker room, bending down to wrap her arms around her legs and letting out a deep sigh as she relaxed and rose, her mind was calm. Despite it being her debut, the hubbub and natural buzz that often infects other wrestlers before their first match hadn’t hit her, and she had done well to push all of it out of her mind, and approach her first bout with a clear head.

She wasn’t one to ever panic or be scared of a big opportunity such as this regardless, so her serenity was almost expected. However, as she finally headed out beyond the curtains and walked down the ramp with her arms out and a proud smile, she had to admit that she’d never dealt with something as large as this before. The crowd’s incessant cheers and chanting reverberated in her ribcage, and she couldn’t help her heartbeat quickly fastening, holding herself back as she finally reached the ring.

She clambered up with grace, smoothly ducking under the ropes before strutting to the turnbuckle and climbing up to the middle rope. She extended both arms out once more, basking in the arena’s noise and trying to let herself get used to the adrenaline rush that came with it. She blew a kiss with a wink to the crowd and formed a heart with her hands before finally dropping down to the canvas.

Vermeil turned to acknowledge her opponent at last. She was a lot shorter than she expected, however in fairness, she didn’t really ask for any details once she had been told she’d been booked for a match. Regardless, Vermeil couldn’t help crack a smirk at the size of her foe, whose cutesy appearance was practically a mismatch to Vermeil’s fairly towering and powerful aura.

“You seem… sweet. Are you sure you’re not lost little one?” Vermeil spoke out with a smile, bending down slightly and putting her hands on her knees, similar to as if she was talking to a child.

It was even more daunting to see this woman up close. 8 inch difference was perhaps an underestimation, as with those heels on, she was practically a full foot taller! Troia did her best to keep her composure and that cocky look on her face, but it was difficult seeing the woman approach… and even worse, kneel down and speak to her like she was a child!

It was something Troia had experienced before… but not to this extent being so outsized!

“Oh, I’m not,” Troia said defiantly in response, stepping forward. “Only one who’s gonna have lost tonight is you!”

And then she threw out a hard slap right for Vermeil’s face! She had to show she wasn’t scared and get any advantage she could get, and thus she tried to use the taller woman’s kneeling position against her, beating her hands over the head and back of Vermeil’s after that slap for an attempt at an ambush!

Such a display had the ref ring the ring to officially start the match, with Troia looking to humble this oversized oaf!

As Vermeil talked, her smooth voice didn’t show a single stutter, and she was still struggling to take her opponent seriously. However, her smile at Troia’s words was quickly wiped off by the harsh, stinging slap her opponent delivered in response.

Vermeil’s eyes widened for a brief moment at the audacity of the young lady, and a hand went to her cheek. Her shocked expression remained as Troia quickly initiated the attack, beating her over the head and back.

Vermeil’s shock slowly faded into a smug smirk as she protected her head the best she could, realising how little weight Troia’s attacks actually held.

“Now, now… no need to throw your toys out the pram!”

Vermeil exclaimed as she reached out to grab both of Troia’s wrists, hoping to immobilise her and stop the assault she had started.

Once she’d done that, Vermeil would take a moment to grin at her foe, before cocking her head back and delivering a stiff headbutt to stun Troia, and allow Vermeil to get on her feet!

Troia knew she wasn’t very strong, but she at least hoped that her one chance to have the high ground could lead to her battering Vermeil to the mat and gaining an early advantage.

Yet, it seemed too good to be true.

Her hands were quickly captured, and Troia’s eyes widened. She yanked on her wrists to no avail, and realized she was stuck on the larger woman’s grip.

“Wuh-wa-!” Troia tried to speak up and heed off Vermeil, but all she got for her troubles was a stiff headbutt right to her face!

THUNK!

“Aaaaah!” Troia cried in pain and collapsed, hanging limp on the grasp of Vermeil if she kept those wrists held… or falling hard onto her back if not. Eyes wide and mouth agape in heavy pants, stunned by that hard blow and at the older woman’s mercy now!

Vermeil grinned with delight as she saw Troia hit the mat with a thump, and the woman slowly made her way to her feet. Admiring her pained reaction, Vermeil approached her foe and knelt down once more.

“Regretting your choices yet?”

Her voice dripped with confidence as Vermeil reached down and grabbed Troia’s head, attempting to lift her up for more punishment. The crowd’s cheers started to get louder, both in excitement as the match grew in intensity, and at the beatdown Troia was soon to receive.

Vermeil would bask in the crowd’s noise for a brief moment, and then pull Troia in to deliver a strong knee to her stomach before attempting an Irish Whip, trying to throw Troia into the turnbuckle HARD.

Assuming all goes to plan, she’d make sure to blow another kiss to the crowd before charging forward to flatten and squish Troia into the corner, hoping to quickly knock the wind and fight out of her and drain her energy before she can use much of any of it!

Troia was in big trouble. Lifted up by her head, she could only just place her hands on the wrists of Vermeil, not nearly having the strength to pry those hands off of her.

And she paid dearly, as that knee impacted her stomach HARD. “GUUUGH!” she gasped, body launching off the ground from the impact and would’ve collapsed again if not for the grip of her head. She was then whipped onto one of the corners, her running sloppy but the force of the blow causing her back to slam mercilessly against the turnbuckle! “AAAAGH!”

Slumping, Troia could only just hook her arms on the top ropes as to keep herself upright, but that was about to turn into a curse with the freight train running her way with no way to defend herself!

“GMMMPH!” Troia gurgled out as Vermeil’s tall body utterly crushed her in that corner! Her face was smushed against that heavy chest and she could only desperately pant for breath as all her air was squashed right out of her! Eyes growing cloudy and form flattened by the body of the woman, already at a severe disadvantage!

The crowd’s roars only grew as Vermeil flattened Troia in the corner, the high impact splash seemingly sending shockwaves from the turnbuckle to the stands. Vermeil stood pressed against Troia for a moment to appreciate the hordes once more, her grin as wide as ever, before looking down to her weakened foe.

“Awww, don’t fall asleep on me now… we’ve only just begun.”

Vermeil let out a little giggle as she lifted Troia’s chin and stared deep in her eyes to establish her control. Her red/amber eyes glowed with confidence, and she knew if things continued like this, she could make quick work of her smaller opponent.

Her smile persisted as she gave Troia two light, falsely reassuring slaps on the cheek, before pulling her close and out of the corner and wrapping her arms around the woman’s waist. She’d then attempt to hoist the woman up into the air and turn around back towards the centre of the ring as she slammed Troia down back first onto the canvas for a spinebuster!

If she was able to execute it, she would waste no time lying over the fangirl and confidently hooking the outside leg to establish the first pin attempt of the match.

Troia was helpless to do anything at the moment, that flurry of offense unleashed on her by Vermeil leaving her completely stunned and verging on unconsciousness when those slaps came. It woke her up a little, but hardly gave her the strength to fight back.

“Nnngh…” she whined as those strong arms wrapped around her waist and lifted her up like nothing. Her legs gave weak kicks in a vein attempt to struggle, but they of course did nothing and she ended up planted hard with that spinebuster!

“GUH!” Troia cried, bouncing off the mat from the force before lying flat. It seemed as though this was going to be a quick finish for Vermeil, as she went for the pin and the sidekick was unmoving as the referee counted.

“One! Two! Thr-!”

Yet, Troia kicked out, throwing her shoulder up just in time, and releasing a gasp at the same time. In spite of getting throttled by those immensely strong moves, it seemed she wasn’t ready to give up just yet!

Vermeil relished in Troia’s pain as she flawlessly executed her move, and she was brimming with cocky confidence as she pinned the woman, hooking a leg with a smug smile as Troia lay lifeless.

Thus, when it was interrupted and the fangirl did end up successfully kicking out, Vermeil’s face was briefly painted with shock before returning to a confident grin.

“Not going down easy huh? I almost admire that determination little one…”

Vermeil giggled once more as she began to roll Troia onto her stomach. She knew she was against someone with some truly impressive resilience, and she knew just what she was gonna do to try and shatter that resilience.

The dominant woman placed one of her knees down onto the fangirl’s back, and reached out to grab one of Troia’s legs, lifting it up and pausing to psyche the crowd up before bending down slightly to curl her leg over the back of her neck.

“Remember, you can give up anytime! No one will blame you…”

Vermeil sung out before she leant sideways and pulled hard on Troia’s leg, initiating a joint ruining Stretch Muffler, or what Vermeil dubbed as ‘Hell’s Torture’!
