The air in the dimly lit corridor is thick with tension, a sensation that has long coexisted with the noble wrestler before every fight she's been a part of. The sound of the crowd beyond the curtain is distant but thunderous, their anticipation rumbling like a storm on the horizon. Jukiya Oshima stands still, eyes closed, her breathing measured and steady despite the chaos inside her. She rolls her shoulders once, twice, the controlled movements of a warrior keeping her composure before battle.

But even with her focus, she can feel the presence behind her. Cold and commanding. The air shifts as Yutani Oshima steps closer. The Shoguness doesn’t need to speak to be felt; her presence alone carries the weight of expectation. When she finally does speak, her voice is low and measured — each word a perfectly sharpened blade. "Jukiya. You know why you are here."

Jukiya opens her eyes but doesn’t turn. She doesn’t need to. "Yes, Mother." Her voice is calm, or at least she wills it to be. "This match was not chosen at random," Yutani continues, circling slowly until she stands before her daughter. The dim light catches on the red and gold of her attire, making her seem even more regal — and more dangerous. "The rules were specially crafted to suit your specialties. As for your opponent, she is formidable. Skilled. Accomplished. But she is soft. Weak of spirit. That is why this opportunity has been given to you."

Jukiya nods once. She understands. Of course she does. She’s trained for this, every hour of every day, every strike, every submission drilled into her body until pain and discipline became one and the same. And yet…

"Do not fail me, Jukiya." Yutani’s voice cuts through her thoughts like a sword. "This is your debut. The first step in reclaiming our family’s legacy. You represent the Oshima name — and I will not have our name stained by weakness or hesitation."

Jukiya’s fists clench at her sides, nails digging into her palms. She bows her head slightly. "I will not fail."

"See that you don’t." The silence lingers, before Yutani finally steps back, her task complete. Without another word, she turns and disappears into the shadows.

The time has come.
Entrance Theme - Golden Bloodline
The lights in the arena dim suddenly, and the crowd’s murmur swells with anticipation. Then the first notes of her familial entrance music hit, a powerful, Japanese instrumental booming like the sound of a war march. A crimson spotlight sweeps across the stage, and when it finally lands at the top of the ramp, Jukiya Oshima stands there, still as stone.

She starts forward with measured steps, each one deliberate and controlled. There is no wasted motion, no unnecessary flash. She doesn’t acknowledge the crowd, doesn’t react to their cheers or jeers — she moves like a warrior walking to the battlefield, her gaze locked on the ring. When she reaches the apron, she steps up smoothly, wiping her feet before slipping between the ropes. Once inside, she moves to the center of the ring and bows, not to the crowd, but to the space itself. To the tradition. To the battle ahead.

Finally, she stands straight, eyes lifting toward the entrance ramp where her opponent will soon appear. Her heartbeat remains steady, but her mind races with the weight of her mother’s words. She tells herself she will fight with honor, that she will rely on her skill and discipline. But if those things aren’t enough… She will do what must be done.

Elsewhere backstage, prior to her match was one Keiko Yamamura standing in a private corner with her phone to earn and a soft smile on her face. "Hehe no no its fine. I appreciate you calling me before my match Oka-San, its a different match type for sure, but its similar to what I've done in MMA, so I'm not too worried. Oh? you're going to watch you don't have too." Keiko said, slight nervousness slipping into her voice before getting reassured from her mother's voice over the phone.

"Aw.. you flatter me. Thank you. Well then trust me, you won't be disappointed with what you see." Keiko said only to hear the voice of her mother come back over the line. "You could never disappoint me sweetheart, now kick some ass!" Hearing this Keiko would smile, feeling confident as could be after that as she hung up. Turning and placing her phone in her locker she would huff softly and nod to herself 'lets do this.' Keiko thought to herself as she approached the entrance curtain, her theme music already starting to play as she did so.
Spoiler
Coming out and posing for the fans with a arm in the air Keiko would look around with a smile on her face before lifting her leg up and swinging it around into a pirouette before stopping and starting to walk down the ring. Exuding confidence that only grew as the fans cheered and whooped Keiko's silver and red attire would perfectly compliment her attitude as she marched down the ramp to the ring. Hopping onto the apron and slipping between the ropes Keiko would approach her opponent and smile softly before bowing in respect towards her opponent in respect.

The crowd’s cheers fade into a steady hum, but Jukiya Oshima heard none of it. Her world has narrowed to the woman standing across from her, Keiko Yamamura, the so-called Silver Lynx. Jukiya stands in her corner, still and composed, her body a coiled wire of strength and precision. She watches Keiko’s entrance in silence, her dark eyes following every step, every flourish. The confidence. The ease. The crowd’s adoration. All of it is observed. All of it is noted.

When Keiko bows, Jukiya remains motionless at first, like a statue carved from iron and discipline. And then, after a long beat, she steps forward, slow, measured, like a predator closing the distance, the weight of her presence makes the air grow heavier with each step. She halts just within Keiko’s space, her dark eyes locked onto her opponent’s. And then, with the same grace and control that defines her every motion, Jukiya bows. It’s a crisp, respectful motion, subtly brimming with the promise of a hard fought battle ahead.

"Yamamura-san," she says, her voice soft but steady. "I am Jukiya Oshima. I will face you with everything I am." When she rises, her voice is low and calm. Quiet, yet unmistakably dangerous.

“Fight well.”

No more, no less.

As the words settle between them, Jukiya takes a single step back and drops into her stance. It’s flawless — feet planted, weight balanced, arms raised in perfect readiness. Every muscle is coiled, every breath controlled. The bell is rung, three distinct, sharp dings to signal the start of this exciting match! She begins to circle Keiko, slow and steady at first, her eyes never leaving her opponent’s as she carefully surveyed Keiko's movements.

Bowing was not something Keiko typically did with most opponents, mostly because it was not something usually expected within pro wrestling as a sport, let alone LAW. But as she walked into the ring and observed her opponent for the first time Keiko surmised that Jukiya was probably someone who observed more traditional Japanese values, so taking a traditional approach may be best for starting this match off on good terms.

Whether it was from wanting to humor her or her judgement being correct Jukiya would approach and bow back to Keiko, sharing some words as she did so. "Nice to meet you Oshima-San, as you know, I'm Keiko Yamamura, and I will do the same." Keiko said back towards her foe with a decided more amicable tone, but otherwise with the same level of respect and seriousness as she rose back up.

"I intend too." Keiko said with a nod as she backed off a few steps and bent her knees while bringing her fists up in her own fighting stance, locking in and almost appearing like a mirror towards her own opponent in terms of how still and perfectly practiced the stance was while breathing in controlled breaths until the bell rung.

Immediately prompting Keiko to start circling her opponent who did the same, each watching each other wearily for a moment before Keiko took the initiative, darting in suddenly in a smooth motion as she she brought a fist in from below, aiming for a punch right to Jukiya's solar plexus!

The bell tolls, and the storm begins.

Jukiya moves with the calmness of a warrior who has known battle her entire life. Every motion is measured, each step deliberate, her body coiled with precision. She does not rush, does not falter. As Keiko circles, the Oshima daughter mirrors her seamlessly, her movements a perfect echo. The hush in her breath, the unshaken set of her shoulders, the sheer control in the way she carries herself, Jukiya is a woman forged for this moment.

Her gaze, black and unyielding as obsidian, locks onto Keiko’s form with a quiet intensity. She does not blink. She does not waver. She only waits for Keiko to strike. The Silver Lynx is fast, faster than most, and she moves like a whisper of wind, swift and decisive. A low punch rockets forward, a sharp, calculated thrust aimed straight for Jukiya’s solar plexus. It is the kind of strike designed to break breath, to leave opponents gasping and vulnerable. But Jukiya does not panic.

She waits until the last possible moment, her body perfectly still until...now!

With a fluid sidestep, Jukiya twists her body, the punch grazing just past her as she pivots on the ball of her foot. The air shifts between them as Jukiya moves in close, invading Keiko’s space with predatory ease. She is near now, near enough that her breath, warm and steady, brushes against Keiko’s cheek. “Good.” The word slips past her lips in a whisper, weighty despite its brevity, carrying a promise more ominous than any threat could be.

Then Jukiya strikes.

Her knee rises like a flash of lightning, aimed viciously toward Keiko’s midsection with a sharp, brutal counter meant to fold her opponent in half. But Jukiya isn’t done there. No, she’s never satisfied with just one blow. Should her knee connect, she’ll follow it immediately with a hooking elbow, aimed toward the side of Keiko’s jaw, a one-two combination designed to crack her opponent from the start!

Now that the bell had rung out starting the match officially Keiko would move in, attempting to start things off with a quick, but sure fire shot at her opponent's stomach. A blow that was more so designed to test her foe's defenses while also acting as a precise blow should it fully connect. Unfortunately however Jukiya was more than capable of perceiving this attack.

Evading the jab and responding by lifting her knee up to go for a strike to Keiko's own gut! Eyes widening at this Keiko's instincts took charge as she leaned back, tensing her abs as she did so, taking the knee from Jukiya but managing to reduce the damage enough that she only leaned forward slightly from the blow.

Gritting her teeth to keep from crying out in pain Keiko would see that Jukiya wouldn't be done with just that blow however as the woman was quick to follow up with an elbow strike! Not wanting to get caught in a storm of blows early on Keiko would duck down, pivoting on her foot as she did so to simultaneously avoid the elbow from her opponent while swinging her leg up as she spun to try and drive a round house kick into Jukiya's side!

Jukiya felt her knee drive into Keiko’s core, but it does not sink in as she intended. There is no satisfying collapse, no break in posture—only resistance. Keiko absorbs the blow, shifting with it, adjusting. That alone stirs something within Jukiya. Not frustration. Not disappointment. But a quiet, simmering recognition. This one is strong. But it does not change the plan.

Her elbow follows, swift and brutal, a strike meant to rattle bone. But Keiko vanishes beneath it, slipping just beyond the arc of destruction. And then—crack! A vicious roundhouse kick explodes into Jukiya’s side.

"GAH!" The impact is sharp, unforgiving. Keiko’s leg snaps through the air with surgical precision, muscle and bone driving deep into Jukiya’s ribs. A jolt tears through her body, knocking the breath from her lungs in an instant. It is a measured blow, delivered with intent, and it demands respect. And it earns it.

Jukiya’s body reacts before pain fully registers. Instinct overrides sensation. Her feet slide against the canvas, absorbing what she can, dulling the worst of it, but it is not enough to fully negate the force. A lesser warrior might stagger, might recoil. But Jukiya is an Oshima. And an Oshima does not crumble.

Still, the sting lingers. A brief tightening in her abdomen. A slow exhale through her nose. But Jukiya does not allow herself the indulgence of stillness. Movement is survival. Action is dominance.

As Keiko’s leg begins its withdrawal, Jukiya’s hand snaps out. Not to block. Not to deflect. But to seize. If she succeeds, her fingers will lock around the offending limb, a grip like iron cinching around Keiko’s ankle. Her muscles coil, the twist of her body as ruthless as it is fluid. She yanks, seeking to rip Keiko’s balance from beneath her, to send her stumbling to the mat before she can retreat!

Keiko could tell before the match had started that Jukiya was a threat. The way she carried herself, the confident, calculating, cold glint in her eyes making it clear that the woman was not to be trifled with.

A sentiment made even more clear the moment that the battle began and the woman began to throw strikes Keiko's way, revealing the crisp speed and efficiency of the woman's attacks.

However Keiko was no slacker in that regard and her defensive nature would come into play as she managed to narrowly dodge the woman's elbow before responding with a roundhouse kick that would manage to connect!

Smiling at this Keiko would try to pull her leg back only for it to be stopped by the woman across from her! 'Shit.' Keiko thought to herself, knowing that this was bad for her as she could already feel her body being pulled by Jukiya!

'I won't be able to stop the fall, I'll lose a point! The most I can do is try and make sure that she does too!' Keiko thought to herself, twisting her body as she was pulled, trying to bring her free leg up as she neared, swinging her foot over to connect with Jukiya's jaw with an enziguri style kick as she was flung!

"Ugh!" Keiko would grunt out, regardless of whether her kick would connect successfully however Keiko would make impact with the mat and roll on the mat, losing the first point of the match in the process!

Jukiya’s grip on Keiko’s ankle tightened with a vice-like certainty, pulling her opponent off balance as the Silver Lynx tried to retreat. It was a move well-executed as Jukiya’s forceful yank sent Keiko stumbling toward the mat, and for a brief moment, victory seemed assured. But Keiko was no stranger to adversity. With a fluid twist, the Silver Lynx brought her free leg up in an explosive motion, catching Jukiya off guard.

The enziguri was sharp, fast, and brutal. The top of Keiko’s foot slammed into Jukiya’s jaw with a sickening crack. The force of the strike caused Jukiya’s head to snap violently to the side, and before she could react, her entire body followed suit, crashing to the mat with a thunderous impact. The referee immediately dropped to the mat beside her, starting the standing 10-count as the crowd held its breath.

“One... two...”

Jukiya’s mind swam, her senses scrambled from the intensity of the blow. She could feel the heat in her cheek where the kick had struck, a searing pain coursing through her as she lay there for a moment longer than she would’ve liked. The ring seemed distant, the air thick around her, and yet, she could hear the countdown continuing, the referee’s voice echoing in the tense silence.

“Three... four…”

Her breathing came in ragged gasps, a sharp stab of pain lingering at the back of her neck. The Oshima daughter could feel herself slipping—No. Her body was quick to react, pushing past the sting, summoning every ounce of training to push through the dizziness. With a sharp exhale, she managed to roll over, planting her hands on the mat to steady herself as she struggled to rise. Her limbs were heavy, uncooperative for a split second, but she was not one to be kept down.

“Five...”

Jukiya’s gaze sharpened as she pushed herself upright, knees bending slightly as she regained her balance. She shot a brief, contemptuous glance toward Keiko, though she could feel the weight of that blow still reverberating in her muscles. This is not over. The referee continued, counting up to six, seven. Jukiya barely acknowledged the rest of the count. At eight, she planted her feet squarely beneath her, standing tall once more, her posture hardening, signalling that she up and ready to fight. But the damage had already been done.

"Oshima-san! One point deduction via knock down!" The official declared, and Jukiya’s pride felt the sting. A minor setback, she reminded herself. She wouldn’t allow herself to be distracted by it for long. But Keiko had earned her moment. The kick had been clean, precise—Jukiya would respect that.

With her shoulders squared, Jukiya now turned her focus fully on Keiko, a cold resolve in her eyes. The referee swung down their hand, signally for the fight to resume, and with it Jukiya slowly began to circle her opponent once more. "An admirable counter, Yamamura-san," Jukiya’s voice was steady, almost calm, but there was an undercurrent of something dangerous in her tone. "But do not think you will be so lucky again in this match."

This was a bit of a scary moment for sure. Pulled by the ankle towards her opponent and losing her balance in the process Keiko knew how utterly disastrous this could be for her as she rapidly neared a descent to the mat. Even if it wouldn't be enough for the standing ten count it would grant Jukiya a massive advantage that would be very difficult to negate.

That was why Keiko put her all into this second counter, turning midair and pulling her free leg around to deliver a enziguri at the last possible second to Jukiya's face to insure, if nothing else that both would be on the mat. Upon landing Keiko would immediately roll over and scramble back to her feet, already prepared to fight once more but instead she saw Jukiya was still down, and the ref was counting.

'Wait... I got the first point?' Keiko thought to herself in surprise before shaking her head. No need to underestimate herself here. Jukiya was a formidable opponent but Keiko could beat her. She was sure of it and this was only proof that this was possible. Standing in waiting as the count continued on Jukiya would eventually start to stand, beating the ten count at eight but even so... the point was Keiko's.

Smiling softly and keeping her fists up it was natural that Jukiya was not exactly pleased with this result. "It was one born of necessity to match you're skill Oshima-san, but it wasn't luck I assure you." Keiko said in a respectful but firm tone, emphasizing to Jukiya that she would not take any downplaying of her skill.

Once the ref gave the ok to commence once more Keiko would circle Jukiya for a moment before darting in faster this time, before they tested eachother's strikes, but now Keiko was going to try her hand at grappling with the Oshima heiress, going down low and trying to grab at the woman's legs, hoping to pull them out and go for a double leg takedown!
