Match Type: Standard Match Rules: Victory by pinfall, submission, or knockout
----
It was just the latest in a series of matches that had been booked for Cecilia since she made her LAW debut, and the brunette was perfectly happy with that. After all, if people wanted to see her that badly, she had to be doing something right. Even though she had lost in her first match, that wasn't really bothering her any more (although she would still jump at the chance to give a long overdue payback to the bitch responsible for her loss). She was in high demand regardless, and being herself, she took that as the crowd knowing who they really thought deserved to win. Her judgments wouldn't exactly be that accurate, but she would believe what she chose to believe.
She was standing backstage, leaning on the wall in hushed silence with a less than interested expression on her face. Really, this was all starting to become routine for her, and if anything she was just curious as to who they'd be putting her up against this time. At last, a backstage worker came forward to tell her it was time for her to make her move. With a clockwork precision she had honed over the last few matches, Cecilia knew what was to be done and was quick to act. She picked herself up from the wall, heading for the entrance ramp just as the announcer outside was making the introductions.
"The following match is scheduled for one fall! Coming first to the ring, from Detroit, Michigan...CECILIAAAA LOMBARD!!! SpoilerMusic
Cecilia had come to figure the audience had become used to her entrance by now, but she never got tired of performing it. She knew that it was for those few minutes that the spotlight was on her, and it was her turn to show everyone in the stadium how much she meant business. And, she hoped, her opponents might start to know that whatever followed the proceedings was sure to end poorly for them. As her theme music picked up, a single spotlight appeared on Cecilia, who looked across at the empty ring with a grin on her face. As she stepped forward, more lights came on, illuminating her way down to ringside. As she passed by the spectators gathered around the barricades, she was met with no shortage of boos, her reputation for doing whatever was necessary, no matter how dirty, to get ahead having been quite firmly established in the indie circuit, let alone in her previous LAW matches. Cecilia glared back at those people, facing them with a cold, blank look. She didn't take kindly to anyone heckling her like that, and she would make it readily known.
Soon enough, Cecilia made it to the ring apron, and she decided to put her skills as a contortionist and acrobat on display here to give whoever else might've been watching a taste for what she could do. Pushing down on the apron with one hand, Cecilia flipped herself up onto the ring, where she caught the top rope under her leg and used the leverage to roll over the ropes and into the ring itself. After catching herself, she stood back up and tied her dark, silver-highlighted hair in a side ponytail with an elastic kept in her hand. Ready for action, she stood back, watching for her opponent to make an entrance.

Lisbeth took a deep breath as she stood, waiting to be called out to the ring for her first match. She hadn't quite acclimatized to the way wrestling worked. When a boxer entered the ring, sure they made a show about it, but there was none of the kind of showing that LAW had out on display here. Were it anyone else, they may have been intimidated switching from one sport to the other like this. But for Lisbeth? She was kind of looking forwards to it. After all, first impressions were everything right?
And she sure as hell planned on making some kind of first impression. Entrance Music
Clutching a microphone she had snagged from a hapless PA, Lisbeth grinned as she heard the opening beats of her theme song. Before the announcer could even begin calling out she brought the microphone up, strutting out onto the walkway. "Yeah, yeah!" She shouted, going in time with the beat, pumping her fist in the air and pointing out to everyone in the crowd. "Hello you beautiful people! Haha! Take it easy big guy, I got this. Coming in straight from Toronto, Canada, I'm Lisbeeeeeth Paaaaaarkeeeeeer! YEAH!"
More strutting than walking to the ring, Lisbeth soaked it all in. The crowd, the cheers, the jeers, and the humourless looking bitch waiting for her in the ring. It all just served to amp up the pintsized wrestler even more. So she strutted, singing along with her theme, letting the energy of the crowd fuel her own energy, and sending that right back to them. "Wishing I could thank you in a diff-er-ent waaay~! Oh baby, I'd thank you in a different way! Yo, gimme five!" She exclaimed, taking her sweet time as she paid far more attention to the audience than to silly things like her opponent or being on time. "That guy back there? He gets it! Yo, you rock man!" She shouted, pointing to someone cheering for her.
Finally making her way up into the ring, Lisbeth hopped up the side and grabbed hold of the top rope, bounding it in a single leap and approaching Cecilia with what could only be called a shit-eating grin. "So ice-bitch, you ready to get your ass kicked, or what?" She asked, sizing up the American while handing the microphone off to a rather exasperated-looking referee.
In stark contrast to her opponent's bombastic entrance on the stage, Cecilia stood stock still in her corner, her arms folded and her body tense. All that could run through her mind was, what was this bitch trying to do? It was as though she was trying to steal the show - and that was a show, Cecilia knew, that rightfully belonged to her. She couldn't have this nobody upstaging her like this. The brunette huffed under her breath, her fingers digging tighter into her arm as she narrowed her brows in a frustrated glare.
As Lisbeth came to face her, Cecilia locked eyes with her, snidely delivering her own commentary. "Wonderful entrance, bravo," she said sarcastically. "I'm sure you'd make a great ring announcer. Maybe you've got that lined up for you after you prove yourself a failure as an actual wrestler." The size of Lisbeth's grin was almost offensive to Cecilia's sensibilities. Didn't she know that she looked like a complete idiot? The thought that she'd be getting to beat that smirk right off of her was the only solace that Cecilia took in having to share a ring with such an insipid imbecile.
Slowly, Cecilia got herself ready for the match at hand. Her body loosened into a stance, her legs spread and her arms raised and poised to strike. She rolled her head to one shoulder, then the other, working out any kinks in her neck, before she held in her stance. It was only then that she smirked ever so slightly, knowing that the time had come for her to show Lisbeth what for. By the end of this, Cecilia knew, she would learn a thing or two about being a real wrestler, and one of those was not to mess with her superiors.
*DING DING DING*
"I hope you're ready," Cecilia said. "This should at least be fun for one of us."
Liz's grin only grew as she heard the snide reaction from her opponent. This was perfect. She could feel the irritation from across the ring and it just fueled her even more. With a flip of her hair and the smugest smile she could summon, she stared straight back into the ice-bitch's eyes and took a step forwards before delivering her retort. "Glad you enjoyed. Don't worry about me though, after I'm done kicking your ass I'll give commentating a shot, that way you can hear me in every match you lose. She replied, following it up by pulling a pair of padded, fingerless gloves out of her shorts and putting them on. "Don't wanna hurt you TOO much."
Hopefully that got the same kind of reaction out of her.
Falling back as Cecilia prepared, Lisbeth would loosen up herself. She dropped her centre of gravity, rolled her arms, then stretched out, shooting the ice-bitch a knowing look. This was gonna teach Cecilia not to underestimate people. Especially not her betters.
*DING DING DING*
The moment the bell rang, it was like a switch flicked in Lisbeth's head. Her goofy grin vanished and was replaced by a cold look as instinct took over. Rushing forwards her arms came up into her tried and true boxing pose and she shot in with a jab aimed straight at Cecilia's gut. If that managed to hit, she'd move upwards with a jab-jab-cross combination as she tested her foe's defenses, and evaluated how prepared the ice-bitch was to deal with a fist fighter.
As if that hadn't been enough already, Liz had the nerve to keep taunting Cecilia. And every moment of it was insufferable. Ordinarily, Cecilia wasn't the type to lay down and give any of her opponents what they wanted, but this time her foe was proving to be very good at pissing her off. A low growl escaped her lips as she stared the blonde down, her eyes narrowing into a steely glare. This time, even if she was angry, and wanted nothing better than to wipe that smug smirk off Liz's face, Cecilia wasn't even going to dignify her taunts with a verbal response. She just tightened her stance, ready to strike, and prepared to go especially hard on her. After putting up with all of this, she was ready to make sure that Lisbeth would suffer.
But the sudden shift in Liz's personality came as a surprise even to Cecilia. Compared to her playful taunting from before, the cold determination that she displayed now was like night and day. Cecilia barely had any time to adjust to the shock before Liz came barreling towards her, and while the brunette tried to put up her wrists to guard her face, her first instinct was misplaced when the blonde ex-boxer went for her stomach again. The punch landed with a dull thud that sent Cecilia doubling over forward with a cough and left her stunned, lining her right up to take a few punches more. Even as Cecilia tried to adjust to the rhythm and protect herself, she couldn't help but lag a step behind, and all of Liz's next blows hit their mark, sending the brunette stumbling backwards and dizzying her where she stood.
However, Cecilia had no intentions to let Liz get away with this for long. Hurting her pride was bad enough; now she had to do something before she walked all over her physically. The last thing Cecilia wanted was to yield the momentum to some upstart who had barely been in a wrestling ring before. With a huff, she tried to break up the flow of her opponent's attacks by throwing a knee up towards Liz's stomach and hoping it would land right.
A small, self-satisfied smirk played a the corners of Lisbeth's mouth as she watched Cecilia crumple in front of her. Then the second combo struck and sent the brunette stumbling back, dizzied. What she'd learned so far was that her opponent either wasn't ready to get in an actual first fight, or had been underestimating her. Either way, it wasn't quite time to get back to taunting. Not yet, at least.
Moving in to press her advantage, Lisbeth had just been winding up for another punch when Cecilia's knee slammed straight into her stomach, causing a rather rude realization.
Oh. That's right. They can use their legs in this.
With a cough, Lisbeth stumbled back, her momentum nice and broken for the time being, but she stayed on her toes. Bringing her fists up into a more defensive position, she bounced back and forth on the balls of her feet, slowly edging towards the ice-bitch. Once she got closer, the former-boxer would start testing her foe again, throwing a couple of jabs at her, seeing which of her previous thoughts might have been the correct analysis.
Cecilia could read the surprise on Liz's face as she doubled forward from the blow to her stomach, and the sight was almost so laughable that she had to hold her hand to her mouth to stop herself from cracking up, lest she lose her composure. Was Lisbeth so out of her element that a simple leg strike was enough to send her reeling? If that was the case, Cecilia thought, just wait until the fight went to the mat, where the real fun would begin.
"Oh, what's the matter?" the brunette said, her eyes narrowing in a mocking malevolent stare. "Didn't prepare for this? I'm sorry, dear, but boxing is a lot different from wrestling. If you're not ready, this is your last chance to back out before I really hurt you."
Of course, Lisbeth didn't quit. Cecilia was a little disappointed to see how easily she could right herself after that, but it stood to reason that a former boxer would have plenty of stamina. That would just be a challenge for Cecilia to wear her down enough to start putting on the real pain. She came bounding back towards her with a few more punches, but this time Cecilia knew what to expect. Thinking quickly, she put up her hands to try and protect herself from the first couple of blows before she tried to swerve off to the side to avoid the rest. Even if she may be unprepared, Cecilia thought to herself, there was no doubt about it that Lisbeth could still pack a punch. If she wanted to win, she would have to avoid those hits wherever possible, and keep evading her and setting up surprises to keep her guessing. Hopefully, Cecilia thought, she could take Liz down before she started catching on to how the rules of this ring worked.
Yeah, yeah... laugh it up. Lisbeth thought to herself, scowling up at Cecilia. She wasn't sure who she was angrier at for the moment, the ice-bitch for being such a bitch, or herself for forgetting something that stupid. Well enjoy that while you can, because now it's time to kick your ass.
As she straightened back up, Lisbeth glared straight back into Cecilia's eyes. "Soooo... we gonna fight, or you just gonna work your mouth?" She asked, trying to needle her foe again.
Then it was back on, she bounced forwards and threw some punches, Cecilia put up her arms in a defensive position. Okay, so Cecilia had just underestimated her last time. Not that Cecilia's attitude to do that had changed, judging by the nice mocking stare she'd just been on the receiving end of. Well, it was time to strike back. Even if her form wasn't great, she had taken some lessons on how this whole wrestling thing worked, and as long as she was using her arms, she could put up a fight.
So Lisbeth threw a couple more punches, just jabs to keep her opponent feeling nice and comfortable. Then she threw in the surprise, darting forwards with her arm held out, aiming to clothesline the ice-bitch!

"Oh, don't worry, this is just a warmup. Just you wait," Cecilia said, as she was darting around Liz's shots and blocking what she couldn't dodge, all the while keeping her eyes locked firmly on the blonde. She didn't want to take her eyes off of her. Not only would that make sure that she could anticipate and prepare for her opponent's moves, she had also had luck using the same tactic to unnerve her opponents and make them feel like they were being watched. And if they started to doubt themselves, then it would be all the more easy for Cecilia to go in and soften them up. She just hoped that the same thing would prove true here.
However, Liz went on to throw the clothesline at Cecilia. Although the brunette tried to raise a guard to it, her eyes going wide for just a brief second as she tried to reign in her spur of the moment surprise, Lisbeth still managed to get in there and land the blow. Cecilia started to stumble back, dizzied, but remained on her feet, where she came to a stop by the ropes. That was a good shot, and she could still feel it in her chest, but it wouldn't quite bring her down. Letting out a low growl, Cecilia leaned in to try and lock her arms around Lisbeth's head and apply the pressure.
Lisbeth kept her eye on her opponent, throwing punches and watching as Cecilia darted around most, blocking the few that she couldn't dodge. All the while, the brunette stared straight at her. That might have unnerved some, but Liz was a girl who kept her eye on the prize, and not even some creepy staring was going to keep her away from that.
But she did had to give the ice-bitch credit, she wasn't bad. Then again, not bad wasn't going to save her from great!
That's why she rushed in with the clothesline. For a moment she felt a surge of adrenaline as she saw Cecilia's eyes go wide. That's right bitch, you underestimated me again! She thought smugly to herself, a smile pulling at the corners of her lips. Then the blow hit, and Liz felt ecstatic.
"Whoo!" She cheered, moving in after her opponent to go for a chop to the women's chest, only to find Cecilia's arms closing in around her head. "Wha-?!"
Suddenly she found the arms closing in around her, applying pressure to her head. Great, holds. Another one of those things she wasn't great at. She was going to need to do some more training after she pounded Cecilia down. With an annoyed grunt, Lisbeth aimed a sharp punch at Cecilia's side while trying to tear herself away from the woman's hold. That was certainly not somewhere she wanted to stay stuck.
