Megumi Mutoh vs. Handa Kiyoko - Rough Rumble

Megumi was aware that there were a lot of new wrestlers joining LAW recently, and she couldn't even keep track of these new names popping up. She started to wonder if the prerequisites for joining LAW had changed somewhat in recent years, though she was also aware that these new names weren't exactly new, at least in the wrestling scenes, as they might have already made their names outside of LAW before signing in. The same could be said about Megumi and other wrestlers coming from Wrestle Angels, and she wanted to see how good these girls were.

Tonight, she would be facing someone named Handa Kiyoko. Whoever she was, Megumi would make sure to fight to the best of her abilities and then emerge victorious in the end. For the occasion, she wore her signature one-piece wrestling outfit. She hadn't planned of commissioning a new outfit, as this outfit had become rather iconic for her. After ensuring that she looked proper for the upcoming match, it was time for her to make her appearance as she left the locker room.

Walking down the ramp, Megumi then entered the ring and raised her arms, getting the crowd to cheer for her. Smiling, Megumi then did some stretches, readying herself for this fight. She had no idea what her opponent was like, but she would make sure to get herself ready for anything. After she was done stretching, she would go to her corner and drape her arms over the ropes, leaning against the turnbuckle as she would direct her gaze at the entrance to see her opponent.

Suddenly on the Jumbotron there would be a black screen playing some audio. It seemed like the audio was coming from backstage, possibly in the car parking lot. There was a lot of commotion going on in that audio as there were sounds of pleading executives begging someone not to go out there. Their names were fizzled out whenever someone spoke of their name and it would be in Japanese. Someone was very much determined to be Megumi’s opponent but who. The audio played the following conversation:

Producer?: 「今夜は試合をさせられないよ[失敗]。まだ怪我が残っているからね。」
(“I can’t let you wrestle tonight [fizzle]. You still have that injury.”)

???: 「お前らが俺の怪我についてどう思うかなんて知ったこっちゃねえ。俺はリングに戻るために8ヶ月も孤独に待っていた。医者が何を言ったかなんて知ったこっちゃねえ。誰も俺を抑えてくれないんだ[消えろ消えろ]！お前らが好むと好まざるとにかかわらず、俺はリングの上のあのビッチを血を流させてやる！」
(“I don't fucking care what you think about my injury. I have waited 8 months in solitude to get back in the fucking ring. I don’t give a shit what the doctors told me. Nobody holds down [fizzle fizzle]! I am going to make that bitch in the ring bleed wheter you guys like it or not!”)

There were then sounds of people being thrown around and stuff crashing to the floor. Whoever Megumi’s opponent was determined to destroy her in the ring. The crowd would be shaking in fear of who is making their return to LAW. Only the few minutes were all they had until they heard the theme of a dangerous wrestler.

Handa Kiyoko

Holy Shit! Handa Kiyoko has returned! She still had her cast on her shattered leg, done by Carol at Fight The LAW 3. She then ripped it off of her and people could see the contorted leg of the angry Kiyoko that should’ve been behind the scenes of her healing process. Handa really was pissed off as she wanted to break some skulls in hopes of getting back at Carol for her injury that took her out of LAW for 8 months.

Handa ran, or galloped based off the injury, to the ring and managed to leap up onto the apron. She then violently shook the ropes in anger before she entered the ring. She would be in a limping but standing position as the referee didn’t know whether or not to let the match happen. However, once Handa stared into their soul, they were forced to ring the bell and have the match begin.

Megumi narrowed her eyes when she saw her opponent, or rather, her condition. From the look of it, it seemed that she hadn't fully recovered from her injuries, presumably from her last match. Of course, the first thing that came to Megumi's mind was that this would give her a massive advantage over her opponent due to this obvious handicap. Still, she felt that using this advantage was kind of unsportsmanlike, and while she enjoyed winning, she'd rather win through her own efforts.

Stepping forward, Megumi looked at the other woman. She wasn't exactly concerned, because she knew that her opponent already knew the risks of entering the ring while still recovering. Taking her position, she then asked the other woman, "Hey, you sure you want to fight with that leg?" She pointed at the other woman's obviously-injured leg. She's rather not deal with someone stupid enough to not know their limitation, and if she had to, she would gladly make use of any advantage she could find here.

Megumi’s kindness would be returned with bitterness and a threat by an angry Handa Kiyoko. She would point at her as she yelled at her in her native tongue.

「お前の同情なんか要らない。お前が心配すべきなのは自分の血液型だけだ。俺がお前を殺した後、この指輪に残るのは真ん中で血を流しているお前だけだからな！」
(“I don’t need your fucking pity. The only thing you should worry about is what your blood type is. Because after I’m done with you, the only thing that’s gonna be left in this ring is you bleeding out in the middle of it!”)

Handa continued to tinker with her broken leg as it was at 35%. No matter to the angered red head as anybody that knew Handa would know that nothing in this world will pull back the rage the redhead wrestler has.

Megumi raised her eyebrow as her opponent reacted to her words in a rather volatile manner. Then, she just shrugged, seeing no point in trying to change her mind. "Well, if you insist..." Hopping on the balls of her feet, Megumi was getting ready for the match. Of course, she planned to capitalize on the obvious achilles' heel that her opponent seemed to be displaying.

Soon, the match would begin after Megumi took her position in the middle of the ring. The bell was rung. Rather than starting the match with a lock up, Megumi would maintain the distance between the two of them, coolly analyzing the situation while moving to the side and circling her opponent, keeping her eyes on her to see what she would do next.

Handa immediately tried to go on the offensive with her bad leg just holding her back. Her opponent also doing the smart thing and maintaining space between her and Handa. However, there was also a dumb move as Handa was growing more angrier and angrier the seconds she’s not getting access to tearing Megumi apart. Handa then yelled at herself to get back in the match.

With that, Handa would hobble and charge towards Megumi. She was trying to take down Megumi and start throwing haymakers at her. But if she couldn’t get to her, Handa would be in a vulnerable position. Though, caution is recommended when approaching Handa in this angered state.

Megumi could see what her opponent was trying to do here, with her hobbling towards her. Calmly analyzing the situation, Megumi would ready herself to deliver her own attack, and once Handa was within range, Megumi would perform her own attack, which was a spinning heel kick aimed at the side of her head. Because Handa was hobbling towards her, her movements were quite easy to read, and for someone as experienced as Megumi, coming up with a counter was a no-brainer for her.

Handa would be kicked in the side of the head with a spinning heel kick. She would take a dive to the floor but that was when she yelled and slammed her fist on the floor. It seemed to be a painful reaction to her broken leg but it was actually Handa getting angry at herself for getting hit with the kick. She would slowly get up and be seething at the mouth when looking at Megumi. Handa is seeing red right now and Megumi should better watch out.

Hitting Handa with a spinning heel kick, Megumi managed to send her down, though it was clear how pissed the other woman was. "Damn, girl. Maybe you should work on that anger. That can't be healthy." She commented as she would close in, looking to grab Handa by her head, pulling her up.

Handa's hurt leg seemed to be an obvious target there, but for now, she wanted to focus on other areas first. Upon pulling Handa back up, Megumi would try to leave her breathless by driving her knee right into her gut.

Handa would be pulled up by her hair and would get hit with a knee to the gut. However, Handa didn’t seem to sell the impact of the move for some reason. The only thing that would come out of Handa would be a pause before a sinister giggle and laugh. What was Handa gonna do?

Handa then smiled sinisterly, Megumi’s knee still in the gut of Handa, before she cocked her head back. She then delivered a powerful headbutt to the nose of Megumi. And Handa was very much hard headed literally as she hit Megumi with a headbutt hard.
