High Flying, Death Defying: Cora Adair (D) vs Raquel Masters
Cora walked into the locker room having just gotten off the phone with her parents the both of them wishing her the best of luck and let her know they were at home watching on television. Opening up her locker for the first time Cora opened her bag, pulling out her top, shorts, boots, and a few other items before setting her bad inside. Changing into her ring gear Cora set her street clothes in her bag before sitting down to put on her boots before rushing to a mirror, adjusting her top and shorts, making sure everything fit perfectly in all the right places. This was her first match outside of the US or the midwest in general and she wanted to make a good impression. Leaving the locker room Cora walked through the backstage. It was bigger but it wasn't that much different than any smaller premotion depending where it was booked, though it didn't take Cora long to find the curtain at all with it being just down the hall from the lockers.
Placing her right hand on her hip Cora raised her left in the air pointing to the ceiling and making a pose for a few moments before readjusting her posture and skipping down the ring high fiving the fans on her way down even taking a lap around the ring to make sure nobody in the front row was left out before jumping up on the ring apron and turning to face the crowd grabbing the top rope before throwing her weight back and propelling herself into the ring. Cora then stepped back outstretching her arms to the side for another pose before heading to her corner. Cora opted to simply hop on on her toes making sure she kept the blood pumping as she waited for her opponent to arrive.
Waiting by the curtain Cora took her right arm, stretching it across her body, using her left arm to aid in the stretch until she felt her shoulder nice and loose and repeating the process with her left arm before rolling her shoulders and neck, nice and loose, perfect. Cora then her music start and made her way past the curtain onto the stage smiling at the crowd enjoying there whistles and cheers.

Re: High Flying, Death Defying: Cora Adair (D) vs Raquel Masters
Raquel had been having a very up and down stretch lately, and as a result... coupled with her downright embarrassing showing in the elimination chamber match she was in... her name was barely mentioned as anything other than a mid-carder who "fought well in competitive matches" at most. Forget that she challenged for the LAW Lightweight Championship at one point. Raquel was now facing a debut wrestler and she couldn't help but feel her pride sting. They saw her as someone to put against newbies. Someone to make others look good. She was going to put a damper on any talk like that tonight.
Raquel came out in her white and light blue attire, blowing kisses to the crowd before strutting down with a sway in her hips while her hands ran through her hair. Raquel winked to a few people in the crowd, pointing at them as she got to the ring. She jumped up onto the apron then leapt over the ropes, the red head keeping a constant stare at the rookie in front of her. If she thought Raquel was some welcome mat to be walked over she was horribly mistaken.
Raquel stretched and tugged on the ropes before walking to the middle of the ring ready for that bell to ring.

Cora really didn't even know a single thing about her opponent though she soon got a good look at her as she didn't take long to arrive. Cora finally stood still and looked to the ramp as she saw her opponent on her way down to the ring, she certainly was cute, a fellow lightweight though slightly smaller than Cora. This match was going to be fun to say the least. As her opponent walked to the center of the ring Cora did the same extending out her first offering a fist bump to her opponent. "Hey I'm Cora" She added introducing herself before the bell rang.

Raquel kept an eye on Cora as she came out, not sure what to expect. However as she introduced herself Raquel figured she was safe to do the same. "I'm Raquel Masters, nice to meet ya." She said bumping Cora's fist and keeping her focus on her opponent. Raquel was going to be ready and show her she wasn't just some door mat for women coming in to LAW.
the bell rang and Raquel did a low leg sweep fully expecting Cora to dodge or jump over it. She spun faster and this time her leg came up as she tried to catch Cora on the side of the head with a roundhouse kick! She wasn't sure what Cora could do but she did hope that the kick to the head connected so she started off on the right foot although she knew that especially lately between the Apex loss and that awful showing in the Elimination Chamber that things rarely went as she had planned.

Cora smiled and took a small step back as Raquel bumped her fist though without warning the bell sounded suddenly and without warning, "Wait what!" Cora said slightly confused before seeing her opponent move, Cora jumped up narrowly avoiding it but a moment after her feet landed back on the canvas Raquel's leg swung again and hit her head causing Cora to stagger away holding the side of her head. "You've really done it now" Cora muttered before trying to stand up straight and get back in a fighting position before her opponent could press her attack and ready to counter the woman when she did.

Raquel landed the hit and moved in trying to grab hold of Cora and grapple with her! Raquel was going to try to wrap an arm around Cora's head while grabbing the waist of her wrestling attire. Raquel was hoping to jump out to a quick start while keeping the pressure up against the new wrestler. Raquel wasn't just a doormat and Cora was going to find that out the hard way. The bosses were really going to find this out too. Raquel was hoping to lift and pull off a quick snap suplex against Cora not wanting to give this woman time to breathe.

As Cora staggered back she felt her opponent grab her, she felt the woman's arm around her neck. The moment Raquel grabbed her waistband she lashed out punching the woman in the side before pulling her head free and quickly grabbed Raquel's wrist attempting to Irish whip her into the ropes. If successful Cora would then drop down under the woman as she rebounded off the ropes once before popping back to her feet and jumping up aiming to drive her boots into the woman's chest with a drop kick when she came back around for some athletic and visually appealing offense.

"Oomph!" Raquel groaned as she was hit and then sent running! She bounced off the ropes planning on smashing into Cora but the woman went low keeping Raquel running. As Raquel bounced off the ropes she moved quick and jumped up for a cross body block but it played right into Cora's plans as she jumped right into the dropkick! Raquel groaned and crumpled to the mat in a heap crashing hard to the canvas as she struggled to recover after being sent to the mat by the dropkick.

Cora was just starting to get warmed up sending her opponent into the ropes to rebound back towards her before going low and popping back to her feet to intercept her opponent's crossbody with a drop kick! Landing back on the mat Cora got up on her knee's pumping her first in the air. "LETS GO!" She shouted crawling over to her opponent from behind like a fox sneaking up on a rabbit before attempting to wrap her arm around the woman's head trying to lock in a headlock while the two were still on the mat.

Raquel groaned as she cradled her aching abdomen on the mat. Cora came over and locked in a headlock as Raquel was on the mat. "Ack!" Raquel yelped as she reached up clawing at and prying at Cora's arm to try to pry herself free while her legs frantically kicked the mat while she was stuck! Raquel's face was turning red as she was a bit embarrassed at her current position adding to her desperation to power out continuing to pry her way to freedom.
