When Sparks Fly - Audrey Trovita Vs Spectre
For once, Audrey was very much looking forward to a match. On the schedule tonight was a standard match, something of a rarity these days. Nothing fancy, nothing dangerous, just a solid clash of skills. It seemed she'd finally earned a reprieve from all those massive, sex-crazed men LAW was dead set on pitting her against. Of course, that's what she'd signed up for, but she was growing unsettled with her own lack of visible progress against them. But tonight, she wouldn't have to worry about any of that. Tonight would be like a breath of fresh air.
The redhead's opponent was not someone she was familiar with. She was quite attractive one, though. Cool hair. Cute outfit. Lovely body. Even smaller than Audrey, which wasn't common, either. She hadn't fought a smaller foe since her first match, against Mami.
Still, from what the redhead could tell, she wasn't going to be a pushover. She couldn't find a ton of information, just that this Spectre was quick and analytical. It fit the ninja aesthetic she had going on.
Audrey pranced towards the ring to her as usual, grabbing a lit sparkler along the way which she waved around to 'ooh's and 'aah's from the crowd. She slipped through the ropes and, in the center of the ring, drew a quick heart in mid-air before skipping to her corner. Audrey kept her entrances relatively simple; she wasn't ever going to be super flashy, but it was enough to get some cheers. The sparkler was set in a vase of water, and then she spun around, hopping up to sit on the post with her legs crossed, waiting to see what kind of spectacle her opponent's entrance would offer.

Re: When Sparks Fly - Audrey Trovita Vs Spectre
Match Six.
It wasn’t an ideal match six. But it was action and momentum. More like a leading ladder, where each rung she climbed, the progress always felt negative. Spectre, though, was a more patient creature. But she knew to get somewhere, she needed to take it and powerfully and with bold italics to stand out amongst the prose. So she came tonight with something in mind, ready to fight a doormat.
Audrey Trovita — A fork in a world of soup.
There was history to grab onto for the girl unlike her last couple of spells. Experience inside another league that was quite the headline, with being a lovable victim to one ‘Caesar’ and others, with noble aims after each faceplant. She has been around for some time in the industry. Frankly, to results that would make a proud fap for freaks. Three and Nine. Hm.
Hm~Hm~
She had just the use for such a woman.
Three… Two… One… !
The titantrons spawned a glitching symbol. A chrome skull with a purple nuclear eye. Spotlights had a flicker. As if struggling to stay on. Then, above, the crowd points to the descending ninja. A short girl clad in a two piece, with a leotard-like latex cut on her tattooed abdomen, running between her legs and around her back. Translucent material. A patterned purple top with straps looped around metal rings. Two arm sleeves: one nets, the other latex. Both fingerless but covered the palm. Then a belt with many pockets, attached to a skirt, chequered, purple and black, hanging around just above the knee and leading down to a pair of knee-high black-purple boots.
She dangled mid-air. Held on by her hand, descending quite fast from the rafters.
At around six feet from the turnbuckle, she dropped straight down and landed on the turnbuckle, ankles together, toes pointed out. Her knees squatted and a hand placed between her legs on the top turnbuckle pad. It was a silent and effortless feather fall.
A baleful stare on Audrey.
Focus. A flat frown underneath the mask. She stood up on the corner and cast a shadow over the ring, with a spotlight behind her on an angle that caught her. It flickered, died, then Spectre jumped into the ring, executing a front roll and standing again. She didn’t say anything. She turned around and took her corner. She adjusted her sleeves, pulled on them, paced aggressively between the adjacent ropes and kept staring no matter what. Hungry for the bell.

Re: When Sparks Fly - Audrey Trovita Vs Spectre
Well, Audrey had been hoping for a spectacle. Spectre certainly did not disappoint.
The music she'd selected started off sounding quite oppressive, like she was a final boss making her grand entrance. Audrey might have found it intimidating, if it weren't so catchy. The glitch effect was a nice touch - the screens, the music, the lights. She'd set quite the stage for herself... but where was she?
Audrey had started to frown when, out of the corner of her eye, she noticed someone in the audience pointing upwards. She followed with her eyes, and - to a bit of surprise, there she was. Still rather difficult to make out in the darkness with only flickering lights to see by, but Audrey caught enough of the outfit to recognize her opponent, had the dramatic presentation not already made it obvious. (And really, who the hell else would be up in the rafters?)
Her free-fall was, in the redhead's opinion, the most impressive part. At least, she hadn't seen any ropes or cables. Regardless of how she accomplished it, Spectre managed to land perfectly atop the ropes. Not even a hint of a wobble - perfectly balanced.
A stare came her way. Audrey shot back a two-fingered salute and grin - a sly one, but with a hint of admiration. It really was an impressive entrance, especially compared to her quaint little light show.
She said nothing as she took her corner. What she did do, however, was keep her eyes locked on the redhead. Like a predator stalking her prey. Creepy.
The bell rang. Audrey began to circle - rushing in against a ninja sounded like a recipe for disaster. If Spectre didn't immediately charge for her, she'd stick out her hand; creepy or not, Audrey was going to stick to her guns, and that included her customary show of respect.
And if she did charge... well, Audrey was going to have a hell of a time trying to avoid the speed of a ninja, but she'd do her best. A lunge to the side into the ropes might work, the rebound allowing for a possible counter.

Re: When Sparks Fly - Audrey Trovita Vs Spectre
Tonight was a night of business.
DING DING DING
Spectre circled by keeping her stance angled so she still had a lead and back foot, but positioned so Audrey was always on the front side. As per usual, it was the opening processes and analyzing at hand. How they pointed themselves at her. Where the angle was. How fast their feet moved, and when there was a gap to trip them up. Spectre did this mostly through quick glances that left Audrey’s eyes—but it was important to not do this for very long. Not to just tell intentions, but gnaw on their brain over the seconds she could stretch into millenia.
Then. An unexpected gesture. A hand.
Spectre stopped, put her legs together and made eyes up at Audrey, then the hand.
Her lips pulled to one side underneath the mask. Her expression didn’t change.
It was the first time anyone tried such a thing. So sportsmanlike. Hm~Hm~
She contemplated. Her head tilted. Then she decided.
Spectre’s smaller hand met Audrey’s wrist, grabbing it. Her stare locked in. And she didn’t let go. Instead, she reached to grab Audrey’s elbow, step back once, then yanked the arm like it was a cord. If Audrey came in as intended, Spectre would lean back then snap her head to crack the top of her forehead off Audrey’s mouth. Heeeeeeeeadbutt!

Re: When Sparks Fly - Audrey Trovita Vs Spectre
As expected, Spectre began to circle, perfectly opposite to Audrey, watching her every move like a hawk. But her stance, her positioning, her angle, they were all different. Every motion was carefully calculated. Her eyes darted between face and feet, but never left the redhead. Essentially the same things Audrey was doing, except she couldn't make heads or tails of Spectre's motions, and had absolutely no idea what to expect. That likely wasn't the case for the ninja girl for a multitude of reasons, which put the redhead on the defensive before they even got going.
But she didn't charge. Which meant it was worth a stab at diplomacy, if only for a few seconds.
The offer had an unexpected result. Both combatants paused their dance, leaving Spectre... looking confused, as though she wasn't sure what to do in this situation. She was probably just contemplating whether or not it was a trap, like she calculated everything else so far, but Audrey couldn't help but find it amusing. Spectre's entrance was full of glitches, and the redhead found herself wondering if her gesture had triggered a similar malfunction in her opponent's brain. She might not be surprised if, after this ended, she came to find out Spectre had been a robot the entire time.
It started off promising enough. Although she ended up taking hold of Audrey's wrist rather than her palm. Silly little android, that's not how-
A sudden tug on her elbow drew forth, far too late, the realization that even her wrist hadn't been the real target. Turns out she was the one who miscalculated that look of confusion. While her brain played catch-up, her body lurched forwards.
"Gah!" Audrey's head snapped back sharply as her forward momentum carried her directly into her opponent's incoming skull! A stumbling step backwards soon had her on her ass, braced with one elbow behind her while the other arm checked for blood.
Yep, a split lip, whether from the direct contact or from the tooth that got snagged. Minor, in the grand scheme of things, but annoying. She sucked on it as she got back to her feet, a short-term patch that would hopefully keep it from tricking down her chin.
Well, at the very least, Audrey knew to be mindful of feints from here on out.

Re: When Sparks Fly - Audrey Trovita Vs Spectre
After the headbutt, Spectre didn’t follow-up whatsoever.
Her interest in the matter was just observing. See how long they get up. How they nurse their wounds. Are there any habits? Any profound reactions? Well, not really. They seemed ok with bleeding. And they soldiered on without much worry, as probably should be expected. And, perhaps the best part, is that they lacked comments. She can enjoy her field research in peace, making this silly android very happy. Beep-boop.
Spectre was in the exact same position when they got up. Legs together, arms to her side, hanging loosely with open hands.
Even when they reset, Spectre continued to stare. If they didn't make an aggressive move, then slowly, Spectre would put her hands behind her back, grabbing the opposite wrist and holding it. Then she struck. Her stance spun clockwise in a rotating forward shuffle, switching which way her body pointed. Her new back leg used the momentum to snap a body kick! Fluent—like she was spinning.
If that hit, her foot would immediately stomp down, switching stance once again. All that power from behind was now brought forward in a knee strike aimed directly to batter their tummy!
One-Two…. ! And …
Turning around, giving Audrey her back, Spectre sprung into a standing backflip and finished her combo with a !

Re: When Sparks Fly - Audrey Trovita Vs Spectre
In the time it took Audrey to fall down, check herself, and get back to her feet, Spectre hadn't moved. No attempt to follow-up, no maneuvering into a better position. Audrey supposed it was fortunate for her that she'd been given the time, but it also unnerved her a bit. The pink-haired ninja simply... stared at her. Still calculating, probably, but also still creepy.
Unfortunately for Spectre, Audrey wouldn't stay silent for long.
"Well, that wasn't very sporting of you," she said with a faux pout, still nursing her injured lip.
Nothing. Not even a scoff. Her jab was met only by a continued stare. That creepy, unsettling stare.
Audrey cocked her head to the side with a mild frown. The robot mental image was an amusing internal joke, but... "Hey, anyone... alive in there?"
Still nothing. Maybe they really had set her up against some sort of... sentient AI or something. Was that even a thing? Surely that would be something she'd heard about. Right...?
Then she blinked, and suddenly the ninja was in motion. Audrey felt a kick land before she'd even processed that's what was coming! The redhead considered herself rather speedy, but that was something else! A second blow, this time to her stomach, had her feeling. The redhead let out a surprised exhale as she hunched over, barely managing to remain on her feet! Unfortunately for her, falling over might have been a luckier result - one more kick came crashing down on the back of her skull, sending her face-planting to the mat!
That wasn't going to do her split lip any favors.
"This is not the start I'd hoped for," Audrey groaned, voice muffled by her hands tending to her injured nose. "So, you're an acrobat on top of everything else. Impressive. I hear speech is another useful ability." She managed to slide herself up onto her knees, but she needed another moment to collect herself, feeling the beginnings of a headache forming.
Spectre would have an easy time lashing out again if she chose to, but Audrey was banking on her continuing to stand and observe. She'd gotten it earlier, and it was still early.
If given that moment, she'd slowly rise back to her feet, shooting Spectre a glare. She needed to go on the attack somehow, but that speed was going to be a problem. On the other hand, she wasn't confident in her ability to block and counter that kind of speed, either. But that gave her another idea.
Audrey would charge straight ahead, doing her best to not give away what kind of strike she was going for. She kept her eyes locked onto Spectre's face; there was no need to watch where her feet were going - or potentially give herself away. As she got close, she'd slide down and kick out her leg, with the intention of sweeping the ninja's feet out from beneath her! Once on the ground, she wouldn't be able to rely on that speed and reflexes - which Audrey hoped to take advantage of.

Re: When Sparks Fly - Audrey Trovita Vs Spectre
When Spectre’s third kick landed, a leg had been outstretched and pulled up to be level with her hips, so before she could smack the mat on her front, she touched down. Her landing was smooth and merely followed through on her torso’s mid-air rotation, becoming vertical in a fluid motion. She kept her back turned to the enemy while they talked, adjusting her arm sleeves and pulling them up higher to fit on her palm.
Stepping forward, she walked in a sickle-like path. This curve to both face Audrey and a bit of distance, straight away from where she once was. She watched them get up. Her hands once again tied behind her back. Audrey’s glare was met with her dead headlights staring back. And then was charged.
The rumble of the ring paired with an “Oooo…” from the anticipating crowd.
When they got close, Spectre enacted her own sprint. So when Audrey dropped low, Spectre jumped towards them in a lunge. Her knee pulled up and her boot aimed to kiss Audrey’s face. Then-- stomp it straight down into the canvas. Only afterwards, if it landed, she’d be standing over them. One boot on either side of their head. And what immediately followed was a standing back-flip, much like her flashkick, but instead a complete flip, both boots together to stomp on their mahoosive tits!

Re: When Sparks Fly - Audrey Trovita Vs Spectre
Complete silence met the redhead's attempts at communication. No matter, she supposed; words weren't necessary. Helpful and friendly, but not necessary.
So she ran. Got a few rumbles from the spectators, but she couldn't tell if they were cheers or warnings. It didn't matter. Theirs weren't the voices that Audrey wanted to hear.
She ducked down. Her eyes went wide.
How, how had she anticipated her attack?
That was nothing more than a fleeting thought in the half-a-second it took for Spectre's boot to crush her face and stomp it flat, sending the redhead onto her back and forcing the oxygen to vacate her lungs. Further "oooooh"'s rained down from the audience, audio confirmation of their cringing.
It was a tickle compared to the follow-up. The boots to the breasts really sent Audrey wailing, a sharp, piercing sound in response to her sensitive tits being flattened! Her hands darted to her chest, seeking to cover and caress the sting away, while she rolled onto her side and curled up into a little ball, a small, temporary measure in attempt to shield her chest from further damage.
She offered no other words, however. It was clear she'd be reeling from that blow for a while yet.

Re: When Sparks Fly - Audrey Trovita Vs Spectre
One-two combo: direct hit, beep-boop.
She hopped off the woman and ended up on the opposite side to which they faced. An arm windmilled with a hand touching her shoulder, stretching it out. Then the other side. Once done, she walked over to the little messy human ball.
And stepped on their hair with both feet, near their scalp, behind their head. She looked straight down, no doubt collecting pointless data from all their little squirms and pain-soothing techniques. She envisioned an animal beneath her. Little itty bitty baby one, so helpless and frail. Probably fresh from a womb. With no defenses of their own and with every option in her hands. She focused on the head. And focused on being disgusted with it.
The referee admonished this. They put a hand on Spectre’s shoulder and called out,
“Hey-hey-hey, not the hair!”
Spectre didn’t reply and they glared before raising a shivering hand about to execute a five point.
And once she made herself feel just a spark of recoil, she suddenly picked her boot up and stomped on head! Heel on their ear, toes to their cheek. Her second foot still remained on the redhead’s hair, where Spectre started a flurry of stomps. The crowd instantly starting a jeer.
The referee counted, “One! Two! Three! Four! Five… F-Five…? Five! I said five! Do you want to be disqualified?! E-Ehh...” And then finally shoved on Spectre, who was attacking their head, then the side of their neck and then ended it off with a toe-bash kick to the back of their head. She walked it off, with a referee tailing her to follow the rules. She went in a circle around them… Coming around again… Entering a jog…
Then executing a punt kick!
