Makie's stomach was in knots as she got ready for her next match. So far, her solo track record in LAW had...not been great, and in the few matches she'd been in, she had either been battered senseless and pinned, or had been forced to tap out. Although she had known that she was not going to be some awesome, unbeatable wrestler right off the bat, it still bothered her that she was making such a poor showing so far. She needed a chance to prove herself, a win against one of the bigger names here in LAW to show that she had what it took to make it far on her own.

Well, some fairy godmother must have granted her wish, as she had been slated tonight to fight against "Tigress" Tina Armstrong, one of the most notable faces in LAW, and a close ally of the heavyweight champion herself, Alaina Sanders.

Makie took a deep breath to quell her nerves. She could do this. She just had to remember her training, and believe herself. It was that simple, wasn't it? She left that thought hanging as she exited the locker room and headed into the arena.

As her theme music blared, Makie strode down the ramp, taking the moment to enjoy the cheers of the crowd. Smiling back at the fans, Makie made her way down the ramp and slid under the ropes. Hopping to her feet, Makie took a deep breath as she waited for the Tigress to arrive...

Tina was ready to roll, eager to get into the ring again. She was trying to build a wave of momentum to climb back up the ranks. The blonde British babe was wearing her two piece tiger print attire and when her music played she came out into the arena.

Tina pointed to the crowd and bound down the ramp high fiving fans as she made her way towards the ring. Tina jumped up onto the apron before climbing through the ropes as she held her arms out soaking up the cheers of the crowd.

Tina settled near the center of the ring bouncing from foot to foot awaiting the ringing of the bell.

Makie watched, with more than a little nervous anticipation, as Tina Armstrong made her way to the ring. The British powerhouse more than lived up to her name, her fit body being shown off by her two-piece, her well developed abs and arms on display. Admittedly, Tina was absolutely Makie's type...but Makie was here to wrestle, not to flirt. And somehow, she needed to defeat this powerful British vet.

Edging her way towards the center of the ring, Makie tried to hide the apprehension in her eyes as she extended a hand for a quick, pre-match hand shake. Regardless of whether Tina shook it or not, Makie would then dart back, putting some distance between her and Tina before the bell rang.

And the moment the bell did ring, Makie would waste no time, rushing right at Tina and kicking up at the last second, hoping to take her by surprise with a drop kick to her face or chest!

Tina gave Makie a nod, shaking her hand with a smile. Tina stepped back and as soon as the bell rang she saw Makie move forward and rush her. Tina was thinking of rushing right in but instead as Makie jumped up the tigress sidestepped it allowing Makie to fall down to the mat! Before Makie hit the canvas the tigress was jumping up and extending her arm looking to crash down on Makie's spine or abdomen with an elbow drop depending on how she landed. Tina was not going to be a stepping stone any longer, she was going to prove she was still a top level lady in the wrestling world!

The match got off to a respectful start, with Tina shaking Makie's hand. That was good, at least: whatever happened in this match, and however much she and Tina beat the crap out of each other, Makie at least took some comfort in knowing it wouldn't be personal between them.

Speaking of beating the crap out of Tina...

Makie rushed at Tina like a red bullet, hoping to catch Tina by surprise. Unfortunately for her, Tina was anything but surprised, managing to sidestep Makie's drop kick: Makie was wide eyed as she went crashing onto the mat, crying out as pain suddenly shot up her tailbone.

The pain didn't end there, however, as Tina's elbow slammed down hard against her spine. "AAAAGH!" Makie cried out, the blow sending her rolling to the side, clutching her back.

Makie seemed to wrestle a lot like Tina did, full speed all the time. Tons of energy. Always moving. Had Tina not been as experienced as she was now then she surely would have been caught off guard. Thankfully the former middleweight champion countered and landed on Makie smashing an elbow drop into her spine.

Tina adjusted her position a bit wrapping her legs around one of Makie's arms and reaching around to clasp her hands around Makie's chin as she attempted to lock in a crossface hold to keep Makie down while conserving her own energy utilizing this hold! Tina was trying to approach smart first, and later when the time came Tina would unload with her own energetic assault but now was not the time for that.

Makie was breathing hard now as she rolled away, clutching her back in pain. This was a bad start to her match: her big initial attack against Tina had blown up in her face, and now she was reeling in pain. No doubt, if he had still been alive, her dad would be giving her some lecture about not giving your opponent such a big opening early in the match.

Speaking of giving your opponent an opening...

Makie felt her chin being wrenched back, and Tina's legs clamping around one of her arms as the bigger girl's weight pressed down on her. The next thing Makie knew, her head was being wrenched back in a crossface submission. "AAAUGH!" Makie cried, kicking at the mat as she pawed at Tina's encircling arms with her free hand. This was not good: if Tina was allowed to maintain this hold for long, even if she didn't force a submission from Makie, she would wear her down considerably. This early in the match, that would be really bad.

Her eyes screwed shut in pain, and breathing through flared nostrils, Makie tried to rotate her body, trying to angle to get close enough to latch one of her boots over the bottom rope. "Rrrrnnnnnghh--!"

Tina managed to get the hold locked in, applying as much pressure as she could when she heard the official call for a rope break! Tina let go without question and stood up, backing away so Makie could get back up to her feet. The tigress kept her eyes on Makie and once she was up to her feet she moved back in against her.

Tina was trying to grapple with Makie and hoping to work her way to grappling Makie from behind grabbing her around the waist. Tina was attempting to position herself for a German suplex but that was going to take a lot of effort and time, time Makie could use to counter or escape Tina's grasp.

Makie's neck and upper back were burning with pain now as Tina locked in the cross face. She was breathing hard, her vision partially obscured by Tina's crisscrossing arms, and she groaned as the hold simply got tighter. By some miracle, though, she snagged the bottom rope, and Tina quickly released her.

No sooner had she been released, though, when Makie felt herself being pulled upright, Tina's powerful arms wrapping around her midsection. Gasping, Makie reacted quickly shooting an elbow back into Tina's forehead. If this stunned the other girl enough to loosen her grip, then Makie would grip Tina'a wrist hard and twist to spin free, before snapping a boot up, aiming to conk Tina in the face with a close range kick!

As Tina held Make she felt the elbow smash the side of her head! Tina's head snapped to the side and her grip loosened enough for Makie to free herself. The still stunned Tina tried to steady herself but the kick to the face sent her stumbling back! Tina's hair flew all over as she landed on her back shaking her head and covering her throbbing face as the kick did the trick leaving the tigress laid out on the mat flat on her back.
