Jessica felt unstoppable. She had won her first match. No, she had dominated her first match. The victory had come easily, and Jessica was starting to think that she was the queen of the world. Or, at least, the queen of the division. Back in Iowa, there were very few women who were her size, let alone her strength or skill. Just like Jem, Jessica had kicked their asses and run them out of the ring. And if she could beat those girls, she could beat other girls too. It was time to stop splashing around in the kiddie pool. Jessica had not come all of the way to Japan to fuck around. No, she was playing for keeps.
The Violent Violet went up to the poor LAW manager and insisted on two things. First, she wanted to fight a woman in the heavyweight division. Even if Jessica was not a heavyweight, she had the drive and power of one. The fact that her weight did not indicate that Jessica should be fighting these sorts of women was of no importance to her. Jessica knew that she could do it, and win, and that was all that mattered. Second, she wanted a hardcore match. In her first win, she had shown that she was tough and strong. But not tough and strong enough. Jessica wanted to go through with something that no cowardly little woman could.
And Jessica got her wish. She was going to be up against a woman by the name of Lilliana Antiqua. Jessica looked her up. She appeared to be quite strong and large, but there was not a doubt in her mind. Jessica was strong and large, too. She was in her dressing room now, bouncing from one foot to the other. Her fists swished through the air as she annihilated the shadow she was boxing. The poor air never knew what hit it. Jessica felt loose and limber now, and she was ready to take on the world. But more importantly, she was ready to make an even bigger name for herself by beating someone who was bigger than her.
Jessica left her dressing room and began working her way through the winding halls of LAW. She measured her breaths. Tonight, there was going to be a big mountain to climb, but she could do it. She knew she could. Jessica was pumping herself up, getting ready for a battle. She cracked her neck, and stood at the door. Jessica was ready.
Jessica's haunting theme played over the loudspeaker, and a torrent of boos greeted her. They had not forgotten what Jessica was, and what she could do. Just as she did after she had won the match, she flipped them all off and made her way to the ring. As she slid into the ring, she noticed that there were more than a few weapons there for her. She snickered as she walked over to her corner, and began resting against it.
The bigger they are, the harder they fall, she thought.
