Arlise Christiaens vs. Lauren Fredericks

Lauren was fresh off her upset victory against Michelle Stratsberg, a giant of a woman. Now Lauren was facing a rookie to LAW and the 35 year old former waitress turned wrestler was downright excited. In her first two matches the 171lb sort a fit, sorta soft Lauren was the smaller lady in the ring.

Not tonight. Dressed in her blue one piece swimsuit, boots and kneepads she was ready. Confident. She smiled in the mirror as she looked herself over, flexing her arms and doing a mock mean face to look fierce... or not fierce at all really. It just wasn't her.

Her music hit the speakers and she strut down the ramp. She heard polite applause as before but now there were some loud cheers mixed in. The livable, jiggly underdog had something of a cult following. When she wrestled an all-time fans locally booed her because she Wasn't super fit, didn't have breast implants or look to be the T&A type of wrestler. She was old-school. The old crowd nicknamed her jigglypuff because of her lack of fitness. LAW groupies who became fans of the underdog found out and shouted it now, but as a term of endearment.

Lauren ate it up. She got to the bottom of the ramp after waving to fans on each side of her, walking up the ring steps and climbing between the ropes. As her height and weight were announced she smiled and flexed her arms in the center of the ring before moving to her corner. The big woman bounced back and forth on her feet as she eagerly awaited her opponent.

[Winter]

Uncertainty hit her again.

Arlise glanced over her shoulder at the densely stacked rack of clothing behind her. Had she truly chosen the best ring gear to make her first impression? It may have been too late to continue wondering about this detail, she realized, since the LAW staff had told her ten minutes before that she would be called to make her entrance in twelve minutes, but this decision was a most important one. Tonight heralded her first ever match in LAW, an international promotion, and Lise could present no less than her best. The fans would have seen her hype videos and the interview she had given, surely, but Lise was convinced that nothing could speak more of her personality, and the type of warrior that she claimed to be in the ring, than stunning ring attire. What she wanted them to see was Titania.

"Hmmm..." She peered at herself in the mirror, putting a strand of hair back into place and sliding an armband lower. It was certainly Titania that she saw in the mirror, and Lise tilted a smile at her. "You're up, Christiaens!" Right, she would have to trust that her judgment was sound.

Much more was at stake tonight with her debut, and a suitable outfit wouldn't save her from her shame if she failed to properly represent herself in her first match. As she strode from her dressing room to emerge in the arena, gaining the uncertain cheers of a crowd optimistic about a newcomer, Lise prepared herself with a centering breath that gave way to a smirk for all to see. That smirk, a hand on her hip, and a wave of her hand was her simple greeting to them, before she purposefully strode towards the ring.

The woman who waited there, while Lise swung her legs into the ring, Titania had done her due diligence in scouting. A larger opponent. Powerful. Lise gave her a closer look, her eyes sparkling with interest, before she turned to give a gentle bow to the excitingly filled arena. These people, Lise wanted to enrapture.

A kind smile was her greeting when she returned to the middle of the ring, and the ref fiddled with getting herself into position. This Lauren looked...pleasant, in the face, while her build screamed power and more power in her arms and in her thicker legs. An opponent though she may have been, Lise had never seen any reason to be rude herself...save with a select few unscrupulous opponents. "Lauren." She was tempted to stick a hand towards the heavyweight, but refrained. Wrestlers could be understandably wary of handshakes. "Let's hope for a good match."

Lauren watched Arlise come down. She was younger and fit, not a surprise since that was many of Lauren's opponents. She kept an eye on Arlise and sized her up. Lauren wanted to get ahead early, knowing that was going to be her best ticket to a win. "Hey! Nice to meet ya and we'll have us a good proper match tonight. Good luck!" Lauren said cheerfully as she backed away, stretching and pulling on the top rope as she leaned back a couple times.

The bell rang and Lauren turned, circling a bit and sizing up Arlise. The big woman lunged forward swinging her knee up and trying to open things up with a hard knee strike aimed right at Arlise's abdomen! Lauren had no idea of measuring how tough or durable someone was by looking at them. A hard strike was a good measure. IF it hit and Arlise was stunned Lauren already had a few follow up moves in mind. However if the knee landed and Arlise was able to respond, or dodge the attack entirely it would be Lauren starting off in a precarious position!

[Winter]

Lise's smile deepened. Women who could offer cheer before a match were rare, and they often proved to be honorable opponents, rather than the ones who would turn to choking Lise with the ropes if they sensed that they might lose to her. Lauren seemed the perfect opponent for Lise's first match. "Good luck to you, as well," she returned, before stepping away at the ref's behest.

She turned and took a pause, closed her eyes, stretched her shapely body to its full length, and breathed to steel herself...and made sure, one last time, that she had sufficiently adjusted her ring gear to avoid looking like a mess. By the time she returned her attention to the middle of the ring, the ref had signaled, and Lise tilted her shoulders down as she aligned herself with Lauren across the ring.

While Lauren circled, Lise shuffled her feet to the side to do the same, providing the opportunity for the thicker woman to take initiative while trying to anticipate her first move. Lauren's frame spoke of power, so she expected...

Many actions, primarily a test of strength. But none of those expectations included the surprising display of speed. Arlise shifted to the right."Hnugh!", she bellowed, when a force that she recognized as Lauren's knee crashed into her abs before she slipped away. She slumped and staggered back a step, disoriented by surprise.

Lauren hit and the strike was true! She reached out to grab two handfuls of Arlise's hair turning around and reaching behind her! "Yeah! Let's go for a ride!" Lauren shouted as she tried to whip Arlise over her shoulder for a snapmare! The big woman was pumped up, and if one succeeded why not try to whip Arlise around for a second snapmare in quick succession?

[Winter]

Lise only had enough time to recognize that the knee had not knocked the wind out of her before her scalp came alight with small, prodding pains."Nnn...", she complained, distracted from clear thought of how to best respond to the knee while she brought up her hands to try and peel Lauren's hands from her head.

Before she could succeed, and with her focus on the yank of her hair, she had no preparation for the strength by which Lauren whipped her body forward. Lise careened head over heels, gaining the wherewithal to brace before landing on the end of her spine. The landing still stung, however, and naturally it would. A woman with arms as impressive as Lauren's would be able to execute a fearsome snapmare.

Lise tried to straighten and escape. However, to her great concern, Lauren still had her by the head. The heavyweight already proved relentless. Lise was not too proud to admit her appreciation, and that she had already made a mistake by not merely bashing Lauren with an elbow or knee of her own rather than trying to untangle her from her hair. But becoming the victim of yet another blow without contesting it...that, she was too proud to accept.

Before Lauren could urge her into the proper position, Lise reached, her hands moving to grab at Lauren's shoulders and her knee rising towards the blonde's back before she could become the victim of another snapmare.

Lauren was about to whip Arlise to the mat once more when she felt a hard smash against her back! Lauren granted in pain as she let go, stumbling forward as she was bent down low, turning around to face Arlise. "Damn... you are slippery aren't ya?" Lauren said as she straightened up, not wanting to look weak. Lauren readied her hands again, stepping up and trying to swing her arm back before lunging forward to try to plant Arlise right across the chest with a forearm smash!

No one ever said Lauren's offense was very elegant, but she had shown it to be fairly effective in her LAW career thus far! All she could hope was that Arlise wasn't about to counter or dodge her attempt to try to smash her back down to the mat!

[Winter]

Arlise did not feel particularly slippery. She suffered a knee, pulled hair, and a snapmare already, with the match having just begun, and she placed a palm against the slight stinging at the small of her back. "Between the two of us, we'll assume I am." Ultimately, however, she was no worse for wear anywhere but the bottom of her spine, and she had already gained some understanding of what to expect from her opponent...no fear. Lise must be prepared, and she straightened...

And not a moment too late as Lauren darted towards her again. This time, Titania was ready. Noting the raised elbow of her opponent, Lise's reaction, another dodge to the right, was more immediate, and her body weaved around Lauren's with inches to spare. Her glance at Lauren's blonde hair flowing past helped her mind form a way to respond.

She glanced back over her shoulder and whipped her arms over her head, in search for the chance to clasp her hands around Lauren's jaw and leap off of her own feet to execute the jumping neckbreaker! A risk if she failed and landed absent the blonde, but...ultimately, worth it.

Lauren moved in swinging her forearm forward and... missing! Her eyes widened as Arlise managed to get behind her! Before Lauren could react, adjust or even fully process what was happening she felt her head grabbed. Her whole body was falling backward as she landed hard on the mat, her head and neck exploding with pain upon impact! Lauren cried out in pain as she laid on her back kicking the mat in agony. She was clearly rattled as the neck breaker did the trick, and Lauren't arms were cradling her hurting neck area.

This was quite a change of fortune and one that Lauren was helpless to stop from continuing in her current state. Arlise was certainly not one to be trifled with and Lauren was now on the defensive. She had to be smart in order to get things back on track and into a slam-centric battle that she was confident she could win.

[Winter]

Even in success, hooking Lauren's head with the neckbreaker, Lise was not spared an uncomfortable landing.

With her own soft gasp, far less pained than Lauren's cry from behind her, Titania craned forward and again palmed her lower back. However, with Lauren downed and kicking the mat, Lise knew she should not give her an opportunity to recover. Bringing the ministrations of her fingers on her bare skin to a swift end, Lise quickly rolled onto all fours and pushed herself towards the toppled heavyweight.

Relying on her typical rapid planning, Lise chose the straightforward approach. She must keep the powerful, larger woman down while the opportunity was presented. Dropping her rear onto the mat behind Lauren, Lise reached again for her opponent's blonde head, hoping to snag her around the temples once more and pull her in between her spreading legs. "I suppose I'll take credit for being slippery this time." Success would lead to a classic rear headscissors, as her curvy thighs awaited their chance to snap together.
