Isabela Cabal (D) vs Atalante Pallas

Isabela was now in her locker room, looking in her mirror and trying to psyche herself up. She had been alive in front of thousands of people before, so this should be nothing new right? Of course, it was something new, she was in front of actual people, not something online. In addition, she was fighting someone who had experience in the ring. This would take her full focus to remain calm and put on a good show, she couldn't afford any screw-ups. She would give another glance in the mirror, makings her uniform and her body were in perfect condition. Seeing everything was fine, she would give herself a nod and two slaps on the face at the same time before getting up and making her exit out of her locker room. She would make her way towards the entrance, just staying out of sight. She would give a nod to the personnel there and wait for her intro music to play. A moment would pass and then her theme song would play and with that, she would make her debut and come out to the roaring crowd.

The roar and sight of the crowd would hit her like a hard crashing wave, almost paralyzing and overwhelming her. She remembered her training, how she would calm herself down when doing streams and so forth, this was no different, just inhale and exhale. With that, she would strike pose, making a cawl-like shape with her right hand, indicating she was going to sacrifice someone. The crowd would cheer at the sight and Isabela would give a confident smile before then lowering her hand and making her way down the ramp. As she did, the announcer would introduce her, giving her name, weight and saying this was her debut.

By the time the announcer had finished his introduction, Isabela was now at the ringside and would climb up the ring. She would grab onto the ropes and make her way across the ring, stopping halfway in between the two turnbuckles before entering between the middle and top ropes. With that, she would make her way to the center of the ring, walking in a circle for a bit before making her way to a turnbuckle and climbing it, going all the way to the top and once again raising her hand to make a cawl-like shape while posing for the crowd. The crowd would once again roar and she would keep the pose for a few moments, letting herself enjoy the moment, even if she was nervous. Then she would get down and make her way to her corner and await her opponent.

Atalante found herself scheduled for another match. The past few contests which the Grecian wrestler had taken part of had involved the Oni duo known as Onigashima. Though tonight she was slated for a very different opponent, a newcomer in fact. This had peaked Atalante's interest, she wondered what type of foe she would face off against and why she had been chosen to be her first opponent here in LAW.

After Isabela made her way down to the ring and had finished off her entrance, the music of Atalante would start to play out of the speakers. The Green-blonde wrestler stepped out onto the ramp, a confident look on her face as she took to the top of the ramp and let the cheers and shouts of the crowd nearly drown out her music. She would begin to walk down the ramp, marching down towards the ring with a warrior's strut. The tail swaying behind her as she reached the steel steps and ascended, then slipped into the ring between the ropes.

Atalante would walk around the ring, circling it fully. In her walk she locked her gaze at her opponent for a couple of seconds. Studying her foe...then turned and walked towards her corner where she finally settled. Atalante would fold her arms underneath her chest as she tilted her head a bit to the side. She would wait for her music to die down and for the referee to give the all clear before she'd approach and take a stand in the center of the squared circle.

Isabela watched the entrance as her opponent's music played and the green-haired wrestler descended the ramp. From the quick glance she could get, it seemed she was a confident and strong wrestler. This wasn't going to be an easy match but perhaps that is what she needed, a formidable opponent to showcase her abilities and skills. However, something would catch her attention, a tail. An odd thing to bring to the match, something that could prove to be a disadvantage but perhaps that was in her character and how she built her fanbase.

With Atalante now in the ring and making her way to the center, Isabela would make her way to the center as well, stretching her neck a bit by moving her head left to right. The Mexcian wrestler was now in the center of the ring, only a few feet away from Atalante. "You look like a tough wrestler. You will make a worthy tribute." said Isabela as she got into her character. After all, if she wanted to make a name for herself, she was going to need to do more than just simply win the match. She needed to become someone who the audience would remember, a legend.

[Devastated]

Atalante looked over her opponent a she began to approach the center of the ring, especially seeing as as she was also approach. They would meet in the center of the squared circle, where the Grecian would check her opponent out once more. She was quite an attractive young woman, and that revealing outfit served quite well to show that fact off.

" Tribute?" The Grecian questioned the words of the Mexican wrestler. She would place one hand on her hip as she'd move forward, taking a step closer to Isabela so that only about a single foot of distance separated the two wrestlers. Staring the newcomer down... " You are quite cocky for a newcomer. Though, if we are making these kind of proclamations. Then, you'll make for a worthy trophy." Atalante spoke out as a slight smirk crept onto her lips.

Isabela would let out a smile as she heard Atalante comment about her being cocky and her being a worthy trophy. This would result in her having a bit of a mix of emotions. Part of her was happy and excited to face off against someone like her. She needed such an opponent in order to have a strong starting career. After all beating a rookie or someone wasn't much of an impact and everyone would forget about her first match but if she defeated a strong opponent, then that would send out a strong message, so this was a great start for her. Another part was a bit stressed out and nervous. After all, what if she lost here, this would be a rough start for her career. The Mexican wrestler would quickly try to banish those thoughts. She had done matches before and was a live performer. This was no different, just on a different stage. With that, she would remain composed.

Having dealt with her internal mix of emotions, Isabela would continue to smile and move a bit forward almost coming into contact with her opponent. She wasn't going to give any sort of inch or anything to her opponent. She needed to try and stay dominant and in charge in every aspect. She knew if she gave an inch, her opponent would probably pounce on that and use it to her advantage. The referee would come in, placing her hands in between the two of them and forcing them both to get back and make some room as the match hadn't started yet. Though she did take a few steps back she would make sure to keep eye contact with her green-haired opponent.

Hearing Atalante banter, Isabela knew this was another method of her trying to assert dominance over her, talking about her being a rookie and overconfident but like before, she wouldn't back down and would respond in kind. "Perhaps but if you want to go far here, you need to be confident. Don't pretend that you were some kind of humble wrestler or anything. Now then, let us see who will come out as the victor and who will be the defeated." said Isabela in a confident tone as she waited for the bell to ring.

Ding Ding Ding

With that, the bell would ring and the match would be underway. Adrenaline would kick in, giving her a boost of energy. Isabela would raise both her hands up and place them forward, entering a grappling position. Her legs would move from side to side as she started to circle a bit around. Right now she was probing her opponent's defence, seeing how quickly the Greek wrestler reacted, moved and also got a sense of her balance. Before would then attempt to move in and try to lock up with her.

[Devastated]

Atalante watched as her opponent began to approach, moving in closer towards the center of the ring until they were both face to face with barely an inch between them. The cat-eared wrestler would tilt her head a bit, seeing the referee come in and place her hands on their shoulders to try and pry them both apart...it went alright, Atalante didn't resist too much and neither did Isabela from the look of it.

The words which Isabela threw her way caused the gradient green and blonde haired wrestler to scoff. " You're right about that, but I had what it takes to back that up. Question is, do you?" Atalante spoke confidently as she would back up, bent her legs at the knees and dropped into a grappling stance much like the Mexican wrestler did.

Atalante would move in just like Isabela did as she tried to swing her arms up around Isabela and go for a collar and elbow lock up! The Grecian then quickly tried to push into Isabela, ramming her front against the newcomer as she tried to force her backwards!

Isabela would move in and lock up with Atalante. The two female wrestlers would attempt to overpower each other. The Mexican wrestler would now get a good feel for her opponent, starting to see how good of a wrestler she was. "We are going to find out, now aren't we? As you can see, I ain't a pushover and it seems neither are you." said the Mexican wrestler with a smirk as the two of them were trying to overpower each other. Isabela would be forced to take a step back but she would attempt to use this to her advantage. As she took that step back she would then attempt to shift her weight while still holding onto her green hair opponent. If it worked, she would then try to Irish whip her into the turnbuckle before trying to pancake her with a body splash, trying to sandwich her between the turnbuckle and herself. This would prove to be an excellent way to start to build up some momentum and take control of the match.

[Devastated]

Atalante and Isabela were locked up, jostling for control as they pushed against one another. Looking to over-power the other woman in this lock up, as well as feel out what they could expect. Atalante was quick to gather that this newcomer at least seemed to pack a decent amount of strength under that lithe frame of hers. Similarly to Atalante, it felt as if she was well trained...but the question was how long she could keep up with the Grecian wrestler!

'' Hah, that we won't learn yet. The match has only just begun." Atalante spoke as she would push forward, she felt herself gaining ground as Isabela was forced to take a step back. Atalante wasn't about to let this chance pass her by as she would try to push forward taking advantage of the chance she saw. Though it seemed as if she had underestimated the Mexican wrestler a bit, as Isabela suddenly shifted her weight and grabbed onto Atalante's arm....using it and the momentum which Atalante put forward to send the Grecian running with an Irish-Whip!

Atalante hit the corner back first with a grunt, only for her body to then be sandwiched between the turnbuckle and Isabela's body as her foe had charged right at her and nailed her with a body splash! " Guhahh!" Atalante cried out as she slumped a bit against the corner and released a soft cough.

Isabela's little plan had worked. She managed to get into the corner and slam right into her Greek counterpart, sandwiching her between her body and the turnbuckle. She saw Atalanta starting to slump a bit but the match had just begun, she couldn't get overconfident. She needed to keep the pressure on and wear down Atalanta. Her opponent had won several matches, so she was no rookie or pushover. Still, it felt good to get the upper hand at the start of the match, she had also gotten a bit of an idea of what her opponent was capable of.

"You grew overconfident. Now you will be punished." said Isabela in a cold tone as she would now attempt to capitalize on her early advantage, Isabela grabbed the ropes with her hands before trying to launch a series of kicks at Atalanta's gut, attempting to soften her up. Her hope was not only to weaken her opponent but also to get her in a sitting position with repeated kicks. If she could accomplish this, it would put her in a better position and make it harder for the Greek wrestler to counterattack.

[Devastated]

Atalante wasn't happy about her current situation as she had been crushed between the corner and Isabela. She would groan out a bit as she felt the Mexican's body press firmly against her own, she was slumping down just slightly in the corner but soon things got much worse for the Grecian, as Isabela spoke with her cold tone and then began to kick and stomp at Atalante's belly!

"Guffh! Ghhuh! Ghhah!" She cried out as those kicks hammered into her midsection and with each kick a bit more air was forced out of her body, she was brought down more with each kick until finally she dropped right onto her butt in the corner.
