Quetzalcoatl vs Hinata Huerta, Round 2 !

Tonight, a new match quite important for Quetzalcoatl was going to start. She was going to face a new friend, a woman that she had already beaten but that she had enjoyed training, Hinata. Basically, their relationship was a little complicated, being almost like rivals but now Quetzalcoatl was sure, she was going to face her friend.

Her theme could be heard and a voice called her, it was time. As she had won their first match it was up to her to come first first, waving to the spectators by walking quickly enough towards the ring to climb in as quickly as possible, standing on the corner to raise her arms one last time before descending, letting her music stop and giving way to the arrival of her opponent.

Hinata knew she was a clear, heavy underdog tonight. Not long ago she lost a match to this same woman and was outperformed in the gym right after that. Sure she ended up liking Quetzalcoatl much more than she did after her first impression during the match but Hinata was here to win and end this awful losing streak she was mired in. She was going to get the upset win and get her career back on track.

Her music began to play and Hinata came out jumping around and pumping her fists as she shadow boxed a bit down the ramp looking up at her opponent the entire time. Hinata climbed up onto the apron and leaned over the ropes shouting out to the fans before turning to face Quetzalcoatl stepping to the center of the ring. Hinata extended her hand and smiled. "Tonight is my night, I am gonna shock you and the rest of these people when I walk out triumphant." She said to the woman facing her in the ring.

Quetzalcoatl watched her adversary arrive then stand in front of her. She could see it in her eyes, her opponent was motivated to win tonight, even though she had lost the first match. This reassured the sun goddess who wanted to fight again against this woman, she hoped with all her heart to have a good time in front of her, in the ring. She shook her opponent's hand, smiling at her in a friendly way then encouraging her before getting into position.

"Let's fight with everything we got, Miss Huerta!~"

Quetzalcoatl then let go of her opponent's hand and stepped back to her corner. The referee then looked at the two women, waiting until the two were ready to start the match by ringing the bell.
Quetzalcoatl wasted no time, as soon as the match started she would throw herself towards her opponent and jump at the last moment, bending both her knees in the air to deliver a double kick on the chest of her rival to start this match in there. putting on everything she had, as she had announced.

Hinata was expecting more of a grapple than anything or maybe even some standing strikes. As Hinata stepped up her opponent rushed in and jumped catching Hinata entirely off guard! "Wha- Oomph!" Hinata groaned as she was rocked in the chest and sent crashing down onto her back! Hinata groaned and rubbed her chest while she lay flat on her back. The opening bell was not kind to her and that hit surprised her enough so that Quetzalcoatl had a window of opportunity to pile on!

Quetalcoatl now had an opportunity to continue attacking and as she wanted to give it her all, she wasted no time in provoking her opponent or even talking. She approached her opponent to grab her arm and pull her up, she was not very good at doing submission holds this early in a match. So Quetz showed what she was capable of by showing off her favorite style, the powerhouse. She threw her opponent against the ropes with an Irish Whip and she waited for her to return to give her a lariat, still aiming for her opponent's chest.

Hinata was on the mat when she was pulled up to her feet. She found herself pulled up and sent running to the ropes, bouncing off and seeing Quetzalcoatl running right at her! Hinata knew she couldn't afford to get hit again. She kept moving at her opponent and jumped up, extending her legs to surprise Quetzalcoatl with a running dropkick instead! She had to counter and strike, not allowing herself to get pummeled or beat down in succession. She had to prevent Quetzalcoatl from getting runaway momentum in this match.

Quetzalcoatl still clenched her fist and then threw herself towards her opponent to apply a lariat to her. However during her run, she noticed that her opponent jumped in the air and strained her legs. It was too late for the blonde to stop in the middle of a run, she took the running dropkick head-on on her chest, which forced her to roll backwards and away from her opponent.

"Tch.."

She sighed softly and got up quite quickly as usual, despite the pain she had with each inspiration and raised her arms while walking slowly around her opponent, looking her straight in the eyes and waiting for her offensive.

Hinata knew what was coming next, and she guessed that her opponent did as well. She was a striker, so that was what she would stick with. She just had to do a better job of hitting than Quetzalcoatl did of blocking or dodging! Hinata moved in and tried to send some punches to the body followed by kicks to the legs and then an uppercut to the jaw! She knew some of this would be blocked but really as long as that uppercut connected clean it would hopefully be a good exchange to Hinata! If not, then Hinata would be open for some nasty counter attacks!

Quetzalcoatl saw her adversary coming towards her and tightened her guard, preparing to block her fists. She managed to protect herself from the first blows but the kicks drew her attention and embarrassed her. Since she wasn't as quick as her opponent to punch and kick at the same time, she decided to simply let her guard down and hit her opponent, swinging a hook with her right fist.
But Quetzalcoatl was too drawn to her opponent's kicks that she received an uppercut when her hook was already gone. The blow was strong enough to embarrass the Sun Goddess but it was still too early in the match for it to knock her out.

The uppercut hit and Hinata knew that it wouldn't end anything but she did hope it jarred her opponent and left a throbbing mark. Hinata moved in again trying to reach out and wrap an arm around Quetzalcoatl's head while grabbing the waist of her wrestling attire with her other hand. Hinata was trying to move quick, bending her knees and trying to lift Quetzalcoatl up into the air and back for a vertical suplex if she could pull it off without a counter!
