Deanna Duncan watched with her arms crossed at The Goddesses of Justice went to the ring. She scoffed, rolling her eyes.
"Can you believe it, Chey?" said the platinum-haired girl.
"You can just tell me what you're thinking, Deanna," said Cheyenne, crossing her arms as she watched them, but far less judgmental towards her opponents.
"No, you say 'What do you mean? Believe what?' And then I can say, 'Oh my god, they're like not godly at all, how conceited,'" explained Duncan, gesturing to her partner.
"But you ruined the bit, so yeah. Who calls themselves Goddesses? Very conceited stuff."
Black Rock let out a soft sigh before saying,
"It is a gimmick."
"And it's a conceited gimmick! That's like if instead of being 'Diamond' Deanna Duncan, I called myself 'Incredibly Sexy, Attractive, and Well-Loved' Deanna Duncan--which I could absolutely pull off, but I won't because I am humble, as you are very aware," said Deanna, proudly looking at her partner with a grin.
"...Yes. Yes you are. Our music is about to play and we should go," said Cheyenne, looking to avoid the rest of the conversation before it went further down a rabbit hole that she would have a hard time escaping.
"Well that's just perfect timing after we acknowledged my humbleness," said Duncan, winking at her partner and shooting her a finger gun.
When
The Will of the People by Muse hit, Deanna Duncan came running out to the stage, jumping and trying to rile the crowd up as she cheered, feeding off the energy in the arena. Shortly after, Cheyenne Black Rock followed behind her, arms crossed over her chest as she stood, confident and imposing, while Duncan pranced around Cheyenne and hung off of her.
The pair continued the same dynamic as they walked down the ramp. Cheyenne began to walk up the ring steps while Deanna Duncan leaped onto the apron, sitting on it as she winked and teased the crowd. She slid under the bottom rope and then met Cheyenne in the middle of the ring, cheering and whooping with her tag partner before they headed back to their corner to prepare for the match.
Deanna would get an eye on the two women they would be facing, scoffing and waving a hand towards them.
"Hardly goddess-y at all. I think we'd make better goddesses, really. Also, justice? How about justice for those tops, because they are doing some heavy lifting," said Duncan to her partner, who seemed to mostly ignore her remarks. But the Diamond would wave over to the pair and said,
"Hey! Good luck! Big fans! Big fans!" Then, she hid her face behind Black Rock's tall body and said,
"We got this..."
"Indeed," acknowledged Cheyenne patiently, waiting for the bell to ring to start the match up.
