Molly had prepared herself for this match a while ago. But no matter how much she'd trained, and how much she'd psyched herself up, she wasn't quite sure what to make of it. When she first met Barbara, even knowing that she was a long-time rival of her girlfriend Harmonia Edelstein, Molly had wanted to stay out of the conflict. She didn't want things to need to get any worse than they already were. But when
she had tried to break up a brawl between Barbara and Harmonia, the Austrian was offended that she had taken Barbara's side, and the tensions were still flying high going into
the match later that night - one that had tested the Superstars' bond, and threw off their team effort, allowing the Miller sisters to overcome them. It was in that match that Molly came to realize how devious Barbara was. In her mind, she was the cause of all this trouble. She was the one who threatened to drive a wedge between her and her girlfriend. Molly knew that even after the match, things weren't settled between the two of them. There was still more that needed to be done - they had to face each other, one on one.
On one hand, Molly had come to know how tricky Barbara could be. That was why she had chosen a stipulation where it was just her, Barbara, and Harmonia - one where her girlfriend could keep a close eye on her without being distracted by the rest of the commotion in the arena, and one where Barbara wouldn't be able to cheat easily, given that she and Harmonia already knew the setting well. And yet, Molly still didn't want to look too suspicious. Barbara had still been all smiles and pleasantries after the match, bidding both her opponents good luck and wishing to challenge them again in the future. Molly was almost certain she had more nefarious intentions - she always did. But there was a part of her that held out a glimmer of hope that it would all be okay, and she wanted to hold onto that. To that end, she had also tried to stick to a softer, sexier type of match - in part because she was sure that Barbara would be more willing to agree to it, but also because, secretly, Molly wanted it to stay that way.
Either way, when all was said and done, Molly didn't know what awaited her. She knew how unpredictable Barbara could be - once the match started, it was anyone's guess as to what would happen. All she could do was stand by the window, watching the lights over the city skyline below, and hoping things wouldn't get out of hand - but still preparing for the worst.
What broke Molly out of her thoughts was when she heard Harmonia call out to her from the next room, causing her to jump up with a yelp.
"Coming!!" she shouted, hurrying out to the next room.
The moment Molly caught sight of Harmonia, her gaze lingered, running over her body from head to toe as a blush tinged her cheeks. Madly in love as she was, she could be captivated with Harmonia's beauty in just about everything she did. But it certainly didn't hurt that Harmonia's body was so delicately adorned in thin lace that draped so sensually around her curves, and how she held herself to accentuate her features with the poise that only someone who had many years of experience as a supermodel could manage. Then, however, her eyes caught Barbara's, and for a moment, Molly went tense. Her breaths slowed, and her eyes narrowed. All the memories of what Barbara had done to Harmonia, and the fury she whipped Molly into, came bubbling back to the surface. Molly just hoped it wouldn't hold them back here.
For that matter, Harmonia wasn't the only one dressed up for the occasion. Molly, as the cosplayer she was, had playfully proposed a twist on the typical apartment wrestling setup by suggesting both of them wear cat-themed lingerie, taking the "catfight" idea literally. She was already kitted out, complete with ears, tail, and fluffy gloves. She quickly reminded herself that she looked much too cute to be holding onto these tensions, and she winked to Harmonia before striking a pose, bending lower at the knees and holding up a paw.
"Nyaaa~" she teased, sticking her tongue out to Barbara. She giggled a little to herself - when she got into the act like this, it was hard to stay mad.
Then, though, she cleared her throat, getting back up and looking at Barbara's bag.
"You brought your stuff, right? You can go change in the bathroom over there."
