Kimiko wasn't just looking for any fight tonight, but a victory. She asked the LAW staff to book her against someone she's never gone up against before. Kimiko walked up to the entrance to the arena bouncing up and down in anticipation and loosen her body. Kimiko never heard of 'Wyvern' before, but she'd love to size them up when they'd stand face-to-face tonight. All that she knew was that she was just a few years younger than Kimiko and she had requested an no-holds-barred match. That kinda intimidated Kimiko, but Kimiko just shook it off "She's probably a newbie, she's not ready for what I can dish out. I'll show her why I'm THE Star Power!" Kimiko knew her time backstage was almost up. She finished stretching and got ready to run out!

"...Now entering the ring, hailing from Japan...Standing at 5'4" and weighing in at 142 lbs... She's LAW's cutest rookie, it's THE STARRR POWERRRRR!!!"

Kimiko's Entrance Music

The crowd roared, welcoming Kimiko into the spotlight. All the lights focused on Kimiko, her heart pounding. Kimiko always got worked up over the walk to stage. She did as she usually did, taking quick pictures with her fans and waving to the crowd as she approached the ring. Right before she went to climb the ropes, Kimiko took a moment to show off her form to the crowd, gathering some cheers and whistles. Her outfit was quite revealing in some areas, but it's exactly how she wanted to present herself!

Kimiko's Appearance

Kimiko stood on the side of the ring and did her classic haul over the ropes, landing with a solid THUD on the mat. She walked around the ring waving one last time to the audience before going to her corner in anticipation to check out the so-called 'Wyvern'!

Wyvern was in a foul mood. She paced the hallway outside of the gorilla position, waiting for her opponent's music to start so she could enter and take her own place near the entrance ramp. What was normally an unecessary exercise to burn excess energy was now a furious march to calm herself down, and the rare display of emotion has the nearby ring staff, familiar with Wyvern's unpredictability, giving her a wide berth. A recent spate of difficult and even embarassing matches had left management questioning if her abilities could really back up the potential they had seen in her, and they were considering moving her back down the card for a bit while she refined her skills. Although the news was delivered with gentleness, the Irish wrestler had only been able to read condescension out of their intent. She was young, and easy enough to write off, but this had lit a fire under her. Hearing Kimiko's music fade away, Wyvern storms into the gorilla position and towards the main body of the arena. It was time to send a message to anyone who was watching her.

Wyvern's Entrance Music

The lights darken to pitch black inside the arena as Wyvern's music begins playing, beginning their strobing sequence as her graphics play over the titantron. The woman herself wastes no time, plunging out of the entrance and stalking towards the ring. Although she's gotten her emotional display mostly under control by now, the rage she feels is still white hot, and there's an even sharper edge to her movements than normal. The few members of the crowd brave enough to reach out to her as she descends the ramp wither away at her approach, instincts screaming at them not to attract her attention.

"And introducing her opponent...from Drogheda, Ireland...standing at 170cm and weighing in at 62 kg...WYVERN!"

Energized by Kimiko's entrance, the crowd gives Wyvern a stronger reaction than normal, but that still amounts to only a fraction of what her predecessor received. Moreover, the reception is clear for once compared to her normal, mixed response. In the face of the popular, beloved Star Power, a clear wave of jeers echoes through the arena. It might have been disheartening if Wyvern cared. As it was, she could barely hear them, her focus lasering in on Kimiko as soon as she's visible.

Grabbing the ropes, Wyvern hauls herself onto the apron and rolls under the bottom rope, coming up into a kneeling crouch before snapping up to her feet. Her crimson eyes narrow their gaze onto Star Power's, locking onto her and not breaking eye contact for anything. A sleight furrow of her brow is the only outward sign of her displeasure, but this close Kimiko can almost feel the malice radiating out in waves from the Irish wrestler.

Kimiko got a bad feeling from Wyvern's attitude and eyeing her down once she got into the ring. Kimiko could tell the bell was about to sound off, but she wanted to get one last word in before they started. "I see how you look at me. But don't worry, I'll make this quick-- I hope you don't mind me taking an easy win. You don't look like much of a match, but I promise that I'll let you get a hit or two in so you could say you put up a fight!" Kimiko confidently and naively mocked the Irishwoman. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw one of the officials move in to ring the bell. Kimiko quickly shifted to her fighting position.

--DING! DING!--

With the match started, Kimiko immediately charged towards Wyvern with full force! "You better not underestimate me! I'll show you just how strong I am! Here I come!!" she yelled. Kimiko got ready strike Wyvern, aiming a tackle to hit her stomach and pin her against the turnbuckle. Kimiko committed to her brazen attack, not even considering that if Wyvern were to dodge then she'd violently collide head-first into the turnbuckle. But Kimiko was confident Wyvern was so powerless to stop her that she needn't even consider such an unfavorable outcome!

Kimiko's taunt was poorly timed, to say the least. While normally Wyvern would let such a provocation go without much thought, in her current mood she can't help but take it personally. In that moment, Wyvern's goal for the match shifts, moving from combat to outright destruction. If Star Power had known some of Wyvern's past feats, or had a better read on just how deep the Irish wrestler's rage went, she might have held back her words, but what's done is done. Kimiko's ignorance very much proves to be a liability in the coming moments. While it's true that Wyvern could have simply moved out of the way of the telegraphed attack, causing Star Power to crash into the post behind her, she instead chooses to take it head on, bracing herself against the impact with all of her strength.

For Kimiko, the difference is largely academic. The younger woman's body might as well be made out of steel for how much it yields.

"Show me how strong you are?" Ice might be warmer than Wyvern's voice. "I guess you did. My turn."

Bending over, Wyvern rapidly attempts to snake her arms around Star Power's torso. If she succeeds, she yanks upwards with all of her strength, ripping her opponent off of the ground and into the air. Unless Kimiko is able to escape quickly, she quickly finds herself on the receiving end of an earth-shattering gutwrench powerbomb!

Wyvern was simply unphased by Kimiko's all-out attack, her tackle had no effect! "WHAT?!" Kimiko gasped in disbelief. But before she had any more time to react, Wyvern had quickly grasped around Kimiko and lifted her into the air! Kimiko seemed to be weightless, effortlessly suspended in the air by her smaller foe. But then she came crashing down with great force!

Kimiko got slammed down to the mat in an earth-shattering powerbomb! "GAAAAAH!" Kimiko was forced to scream out as the wind got knocked out of her delicate weak body. The sheer magnitude of the move on her spine sent a devastating shockwave reverberating throughout Kimiko's entire nervous system. Kimiko could do nothing but stare into empty space with wide eyes, paralyzed by the shock! Kimiko was powerless, probably unable to even fight back against a pin if Wyvern decided to end it there, and it wasn't even seconds into the match!

Unfortunately for Kimiko, her stoic opponent is far from done with her. Wyvern releases her grip on her more popular foe, before snaking one arm out and seizing a handful of her hair. Dragging Star Power up to her feet, the Irish wrestler cocks her arm back.

"A while ago, I might have taken it easy on you. I hate unsatisfying matches."

Dispassionately, the vicious fighter slams a fist into Kimiko's face, but before she can even fall back to the canvas, another punch drives into her stomach hard enough to keep her from collapsing to the ground.

"But I'm past that. LAW has enough people who are worth my time. I'm done wasting it on trash like you."

The next seconds are as if hell itself had cracked open and unleashed its malice onto Kimiko. Wyvern delivers an unrelenting barrage of blows to every part of her opponent that she can reach. Fists, elbows, and knees repeatedly crash into all of Kimiko's most sensitiive weak points, her enraged opponent showing a level of understanding of the human body's vulnerabilities that might be impressive under less painful circumstances. The onslaught doesn't let up until Wyvern is certain her opponent is completely incapacitated, or Kimiko somehow manages to mount an effective counter attack. If Star Power is not able to break free, once she's satisfied the Irishwoman seizes her opponent by the neck, lifting her bodily off the ground.

"Got anything else to say?"

"AAAA!!" Kimiko yelled out as she was picked up by the hair. Kimiko's legs wouldn't move, her entire body and nervous system was so in shock by the powerbomb. She grabbed up at Wyvern's single arm, which was strong enough to suspend all of Kimiko's heavy body solely on her long raven hair. Kimiko's screams of pain continued until Wyvern seemingly had enough and launched a punch that sent Kimiko's head flying back. Everything was so fuzzy. Before she could fall forward, Wyvern unleased a blow to her stomach with a powerful -THUD-. It had enough power that it kept Kimiko's entire body suspended in the air! That blow ripped the all the oxygen from her lungs, only to be replaced with a heart-pounding sensation that her core was on fire. Kimiko couldn't breath! But that was the least of her concerns.

Wyvern had only been using the strikes to soften Kimiko's supple body preparing for the final flurry. Kimiko received devastating strikes all over her body! Finding their way to Kimiko's greatest weak spots and fragile areas and causing her to cry out in absolute despair with each devastating hit. Wyvern didn't hold back and unleashed blows to Kimiko's crotch so powerful that the sheer momentum of the strikes thrusted Kimiko's entire body into the air by her hips. Kimiko's body immediately went unresponsive to Kimiko's desperate attempts to move. She was completely limp, unable to handle the tortuous beating Wyvern was making her endure.

Once Wyvern had thoroughly decommissioned Kimiko she paused and picked Kimiko up by the throat, choking her out. "Got anything else to say?" Wyvern coldly asked the battered and beaten Kimiko.

Kimiko was so out of it she couldn't even comprehend what Wyvern was saying. Her body was screaming and the only reason why she wasn't too was because she was desperately trying to hang onto consciousness. Her head became bright red and was incessantly pounding from the blood being trapped from Wyvern's unyielding grip crushing her neck. Kimiko didn't even have enough strength to look down at Wyvern, her eyes rolled to the back of her head and her lids went heavy. Wyvern had made Kimiko completely incapacitated, but she was still holding onto her sliver of remaining consciousness for dear life. She could barely let out pathetic helpless whimpers, trying to protest Wyvern's unrelenting chokehold around her neck.

"I can't lose... I can't... lose... I can't... I... I-.. I can't....." Kimiko still managed to internalize through her pain. Kimiko's vision was getting dark and her thoughts were getting slower. If Wyvern continued, Kimiko's body would have no choice but give up on her and embrace unconsciousness. Not like Kimiko could put up a fight if released anyway.

Wyvern is not, as a general rule, one for cruelty, but the beatdown she delivers onto Star Power is deeply satisfying. She would never have sought this match out. Her goals were always to push higher, to fight those seemingly above her. But with her ability to influence her matchups waning in the face of her struggles, she had been forced to accept this one. Even then, she would have only tried to end the match as quickly as possible under normal circumstances. After all, her opponent wasn't at fault for management's choices, so there was no reason to take out her anger on them. Star Power's dismissal of her skills, however, was the last straw. For the prideful Wyvern, to be so casually treated as weak was an unforgivable insult. Worse, the crowd was on her side, a fact that usually mattered little but simply adds more fuel to the fire. With the rest of her pent-up emotions, there was no holding back the flood of rage that followed.

When Wyvern is truly at her angriest, her fury runs cold. Every strike is calculated at an almost instinctual level to inflict the maximum amount of pain and harm possible. The world around her vanishes. In her awareness, she and Kimiko are the only two beings in existence, and her purpose is to break her opposite. The malice of the brutality she rains down on her opponent is matched only by the dismissive taunts interwoven with the violence. Trash talk was a common part of Wyvern's strategy, but this wasn't intended to scope reactions or provoke responses. The only goal was to add emotional pain onto the physical. Whether it worked or not was irrelevant.

Once she's finally satisfied with the results of her efforts, the Irish wrestler hauls her helpless opponent into the air by the neck. A final taunt elicits nothing more than a few whimpers, Star Power's consciousness barely holding on in the face of her damaged body and severed airflow. Wyvern's usual, stoic expression cracks ever so slightly as her lips twitch into the ghost of a smile.

"Good answer."

Wyvern raises her arm to its furthest height, lifting Kimiko even higher off the ground before swinging her like a ragdoll and sending her crashing back to the ground with a one-handed chokeslam. This time, Wyvern does nothing to extend her opponent's misery. Releasing her grip on Star Power's throat, Wyvern keeps the heel of her palm pressed down painfully hard on the other wrestler's collarbone, aiming to pin her to the ground and end the match once and for all. The referee immediately complies, perhaps out of empathy for the rookie's plight.

"One!"

Kimiko was barely still conscious when Wyvern had her up in the air. But now Kimiko was crashing down to the ground! "N-NO!" Kimiko panicked and screamed out as she fell. Kimiko's head came crashing down to the mat, slamming her neck-first into the canvas. Kimiko felt a sharp burning pain in her neck as it crunched upon the floor. She wanted to scream out in pain but then everything went dark before she could let out a noise. Kimiko's body limply bounced off the mat, her slightly chubby body jiggling from the impact.

It didn't even matter that Wyvern removed her hand from Kimiko's neck. Kimiko was already out cold! She lied there looking up with lifeless eyes, hopeless to stop Wyvern's humiliating pin, her boot painfully planted on her collarbone.

The referee slid in and began to slap the canvas with each count of the pin:

"One!"
"TWO!..."
"THREE!"

The referee stood up and waved their hands calling the match!

-DING! DING! DING!-

The bell rung. It was all over. Wyvern had taken the win! Kimiko had been utterly crushed by her opponent, another loss added to her pathetic streak. The ref walked to Wyvern's side, reaching her arm to show the audience who was victorious. Meanwhile Kimiko was still unconscious below them, unaware of the loss she just had, stuck in dreamland.

Wyvern knows the match is over even before her opponent hits the ground. Before it had even started, really. The gap between them was far too great to begin with. Wyvern's strength vastly eclipsed that of Star Power. Her skill...well, she hadn't seen enough of Kimiko's actual abilities to make a judgment on that front. The rookie's overconfidence had seen to that. The Irish wrestler has no pity to spare, however. If Kimiko wasn't ready to get beaten this badly, she had no future as a wrestler. This was a good lesson, regardless of whether she would be able to persevere through this humiliation or was broken by it.

One could argue that Wyvern's musings on any value this beating might render to Kimiko provided insufficient moral justification for the unnecessary degree of violence inflicted on her opponent. That would be true. Wyvern would most likely argue that she needed no moral justification, she was being paid for this, and besides, she would have done the same thing for a lukewarm cheeseburger without hesitation or remorse. That would also be true.

Even as the referee grabs her hand and Wyvern stands up to be announced the winner, her eyes don't leave Star Power's prone form. She wasn't satisfied, but her anger had abated. Still, there was something off, wriggling away in the back of her consciousness. Oh well. With the match concluded, Wyvern allows her arm to drop back to her side and makes her way towards the ropes, prying them apart so she can head to the back.
