What's Happenin'! with Sparkling Idol Barbara

When Sparkling Idol Barbara took to the stage tonight, she didn't come out doing her usual song and dance routine. Instead, the idol looked quite furious, an angry scowl on her face as she stormed down the ramp and made her way inside the ring. Everyone in the audience knew why. They had all just watched a rerun of "What's Happenin'! with Casey Kiernan", where the interviewer seemed to do everything she could to poke at Barbara's sensitive spots and rile her up. It was entertaining to watch to say the least, though to Barbara it had been the single most humiliating interview of her entire career.

She hadn't been in a such a bad mood immediately following the interview, as she was busy relishing in the thought of getting her revenge upon Casey inside the ring. But when she saw the rerun of the interview, all those negative feelings came flooding back. The fact it was shown to everyone in the arena tonight was even more frustrating, as it felt like an added humiliation on top of what she already had to go through. So when Barbara made her entrance, she was absolutely furious.

The idol immediately grabbed the microphone from the announcer when she got into the ring. "Casey Kiernan, you better get out here right now!" Barbara shouted, "If you think I'm going to just let you get away with embarrassing me like that, you've got a whole 'nother thing coming! Come out here and let me show you what it's like to get disgraced!" The idol held up her hands as the crowd hooted and hollared, shouting for Casey to come out from backstage. They smelled blood in the water tonight, and they were eager to feed!

Backstage, Casey Kiernan had tried her best. She tried to sneak out of the arena, but got caught. She tried to fake an injury for the second time in the night, but also got exposed by the medical team. And she had made a last ditch effort to hide in a utility closet, only to be caught by the janitor. And then next, she had three stage hands all surrounding her to keep an eye on her at all times as she pouted, crossing her arms and standing in the gorilla position, huffing out a whine every so often. Barbara was the first one out and when the music cut out and Barbara had made her aggressive statement, Kiernan stared up at the entrance when her music hit, Get Over It by OK Go, it was Casey's turn to go out there.

Only she didn't.

"I don't... think I want to do this still," said Kiernan, huffing another pout and standing her ground. It was only when the three stage hands literally began to push her towards the stage entrance that she began any forward movement. "H-hey! You really... don't need to do this!" exclaimed Casey as she was being shoved out towards entrance. Her arm was grabbed and a microphone was put inside her hand, and then she got the last shove to literally stumble out onto the stage.

Casey looked around. The cheering of the crowd, the lights, the glamour, the great spectacle of it all was enough to make any girl get fired up. Kiernan looked around at the crowd at hand, and then her opponent standing in the ring looking like she was ready to fight. There was no woman who wouldn't immediately have their blood flowing with adrenaline at this moment. And so Casey put the microphone to her mouth and said, "...That's okay. I'm... I'm good."

Any woman except for Casey Kiernan, apparently.

And Casey turned around and went to the stage again, only for the stage hands to all stand in the way of the entrance and all start collectively yelling at her to get the hell out there. Turning back to face Barbara on her heel, she then heaved a long sigh and said, "...I guess... I can though." Then, her music hit again and Casey somberly walked to the ring. As she went down the ramp, a fan held out her hand for Casey to slap and she haphazardly waved it in her direction, missing contact with the high five entirely. And finally, Kiernan stomped up the steps like a petulant child in trouble and took off her jacket as she stood in her corner.

She then looked up at Barbara and then gave a small wave and said, "Hi Barb." And then, she stayed in her corner, looking like she'd rather be anywhere else.

Barbara could tell Casey wasn't faking it. She really did not want to be in the ring at all, and was being forced to by a small army of LAW staff. Barbara knew she didn't have so much pull to get this many people to help her, so someone else be helping her out (probably for their own purposes). Not that Barbara minded, all she cared about was getting the chance to take a shot at Casey and hopefully put her into some embarrassing submission holds.

Barbara had her arms crossed as Casey entered the ring, a cute angry pout on her face. Casey did the smart thing to stay in her corner afterwards, had she approached Barbara the idol might have just leapt at her and attacked. But she wasn't as stupid as to charge Casey when she could wind up hitting the turnbuckles. So Barbara decided to take this time to say a few words directly to her opponent.

"If you really don't want to do this, why are you here?" Barbara asked, "Why did you interview me in the first place if all you were going to do was humiliate me? Is this all some kind of sick game to you Casey, where you don't think your actions have any consequences?" The whole time the idol spoke, she slowly made her way towards Casey, moving to box her in the corner.

"You want to know so badly what that whole 'disgracing' thing was all about?" Barbara continued stepping closer, "I'll show you tonight!" She was now within range to attack. The idol fired off a big boot right at Casey's gut! The bell hadn't rung, the match hadn't started, but Barbara didn't care. This fight began when the idol said it began!

Casey hung her head as she stood in her corner, a prominent pout on her lips which no doubt confused the fans in attendance. Kiernan would huff a long, sad sigh which turned into another whine as she genuinely seemed like she did not want to be wrestling this match at all. She didn't look up until Barbara had started speaking to her, asking questions and pretending like her actions needed consequences! They did have horrifying consequences already. She had to wrestle, and nothing could possibly be worse to Casey Kiernan. However, as she got her boxed in the corner, Casey didn't look particularly afraid of Barbara at all. In fact, she looked more offended at the assertion that she deserved this match--a match at all.

Narrowing her brow, giving Barbara a nasty look, Casey said in a mocking tone. "Because I enjoy making my fans happy," said the interviewer-wrestler in response, clearly using Barbara's catch-all answer in the interview against her.

And when she mentioned that disgracing again, Casey began to roll her eyes, only to take a big kick to the stomach! She sunk into the corner, sitting on the middle turnbuckle pad as she held her midsection, wincing. "...Oof. Okay, I get what the whole disgracing thing was about now. We can stop," said Casey, who in all actuality didn't actually care about the disgracing, Barbara, anything in that interview, or this match in particular. But the bell rang after that, signaling that this was only the beginning.

Casey mocking her using her catch-all answer was even more infuriating to Barbara. Thing is, Barbara sincerely believed in what she said, that she did those things to please her fans. The idol wanted the positive attention her fans gave her, she reveled in it, it filled a big hole inside of her left from a rather neglectful upbringing. Casey making fun of that cut Barbara deep, and she was going to make the stupid interviewer pay for her carelessness.

Barbara put all her fury into that kick, smashing into Casey's gut and spearing her into the turnbuckle. That felt very good. Seeing Casey double over and wince in pain felt even better. But Barbara was only getting started. The bell rang, signaling the official start of the match, and the beginning of the punishment Barbara was going to dish out to her opponent.

"No no Casey, we've only just begun!" Barbara said, stepping in and grabbing Casey by her head. She forced the blonde interviewer to stand up straight. With a firm grip on Casey's blonde hair, the idol spun around and slung Casey hard over her shoulder, attempting to flip the girl head over heels out of the corner to slam her on her back! Barbara was holding nothing back, starting this match off by using underhanded tactics to inflict as much pain as possible. Hairpulling, cheap shots, to Barbara, everything was on the table!

Casey had only just begun to realize how angry Barbara actually was as she looked back up at her. She didn't get why very much still, and it wasn't too much of an immediate concern for her right now. What was concerning was Kiernan's hair being grabbed and the blonde was sent up and over Barbara in a throw, sending her on her back.

Casey cringed, grabbing her scalp and rolled a bit away, whining as she said, "I'm... thinking that was illegal. Maybe a DQ? A disqualification? End the match...?" The interviewer pled her case to the referee who just sighed and then went over to admonish Barbara for her use of hair pulls.

Meanwhile, Casey would begin to stand up in the center of the ring, looking sullen as she looked over at Barbara again, not prepared or interested in competing still, even after a vicious hair throw was used against her.

After slamming Casey on her back, Barbara moved to follow up on her early advantage. Before she could though, the referee got all up in her face, stopping her and admonishing her for the hair pulling. Barbara had no time for this, she held out her hands for a moment to demonstrate her innocence, before losing her patience and pushing the referee aside to get at Casey again.

"Yeah yeah, no hair pulling, got it!" Barbara said, not bothering to hide the annoyance in her voice. That delay gave Casey enough time to recover and make it to her feet, which was even more annoying to the idol. The ref had just messed up her plan!

It didn't matter that much though, as Barbara closed in to press her attack. "Get back down!" the angry idol demanded, trying to hit Casey from behind with an elbow strike to the back of her head. She didn't think very much of her opponent, expecting Casey to be an amateur wrestler at best. Which was why she wound up big for this hit, thinking that there was no way that Casey would be able to dodge her move in her seemingly dazed state.

As Casey was standing back up, she seemed more aloof and ready for the pickings for Barbara to attack. Much to the shock of everyone in the arena, however, and likely Barbara herself, Kiernan had immediately ducked the strike just in time.

Casey would then casually walk away, heaving a sigh with a sour look on her face. "Yeah, I don't... really want to get hit again, so maybe you could just... Stop?"

The interviewer heaved a sigh, making no effort to actually get into a ready stance or anything. She instead stood a distance away from Barbara and shrugged her shoulders, still looking dour.

Barbara was quite surprised when her attack whiffed. She stumbled a step as the momentum from her missed elbow strike carried her forward. Spinning around, she expected Casey to be coming at her with an attack from behind. But instead, the interviewer gave her a sour look and began to walk away! That left Barbara exasperated, as having an unwilling participant in this performance was far worse than getting beat up in the ring!

"No, I'm not going to just stop!" Barbara said, "You've embarrassed me, and I will get my-"

Suddenly Barbara stopped. Something had just clicked in her head. She thought this whole time Casey was doing this to humiliate her, but from the girl's reactions it really seemed like she didn't want any part in any of this. It made no sense of course, after all, why was she here if she really didn't want to be here? But if that was the way she truly was, then Barbara would have to take advantage of that.

"OK, you know what? Fine," Barbara said, holding out her hands beside her head, "Go ahead, leave, I won't stop you." She crossed her arms, waiting for Casey to turn around and go. No doubt the girl would drop her guard at this point, probably out of relief of not having to fight Barbara in the ring. Thst was what the idol was counting on.

As Casey turned around and began making her way out of the ring, Barbara would suddenly charge at her from behind, aiming to tackle her hard in the small of her back to send her crashing into the mats! Her intention was to get on top of Casey's back, using her dominant position to hold the blonde girl down as she tried to lock in a submission hold to start punishing the girl some more.

Raising her eyebrows, giving Barbara an uncertain look as she spoke, Casey Kiernan would shrug again. "I don't think it works like that at all, but... Sure I guess," said Casey as she rolled her eyes and turned to exit the ring. Her posture didn't seem to change. Whatever guard may had had up was purely coincidental. Not only did Casey not act like she wanted to wrestle, but she also actively didn't look like she was one either.

Then when Barbara had attempted to tackle her from behind, a dirty move to be certain. But Casey Kiernan somehow leaped up and over the crouched Barbara mid-tackle, grabbed her by her shoulders, and rolled back, in an O'Connor Roll, completing it with a bridge to complete the pinfall and try to sneak a pinfall on her pissed off opponent here and end the match right there!
