Aurora Estrella vs Sylphia Fairs

Unread post by winner3 »

Standard Match: Victory to be awarded via pinfall, submission, knockout, count-out, or disqualification
.

Having competed in the tag division primarily in recent times, Aurora Estrella was out to make sure that she couldn't rightfully be called a slouch in her own weight division. The cosmic combatant had developed quite the reputation as a resourceful and intelligent wrestler in both singles and tag competition! And tonight she was out to continue living up to that image! The Galaxy Cat had requested a match with a fellow lightweight time and time again after winning the tag team championships alongside her teammates! And tonight, an opponent finally stepped up to take her on!
Aurora Estrella - The Galaxy Cat
Aurora's music would play on the speakers and she'd jump through the curtain to stand at the top of the entrance ramp and wave to the fans! Her tag title belt was fastened firmly around her waist. Her translucent side skirt flowed in the breeze as she cutely posed and waved. She'd high five fans as she made her way down the ramp and towards the ring. And while the commentators at ringside, the announcer would introduce Aurora Estrella proper.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, this contest is scheduled for one fall! Making her way to the ring, weighing in at 107lbs- She is currently undefeated in both singles and tag team competition. She is a member of the SWAT Cats and one of the inaugural LAW World Tag Team Champions! She is the GALAXY CAT! AUUUROOOOOOOORA ESSSSSTREEEEEELLLLLAAAAAAA!"

As the announcer hammed it up, Aurora slid under the bottom rope and into the ring! She'd climb onto the ropes with one foot on the middle rope and another in the top rope as she spread her arms and smiled at the audience. The fans cheered as she got a proper introduction! The Galaxy Cat was ready to prove that she wasn't slacking at all in singles competition or in the lightweight division! The chromatic cat took her place in the corner and handed the referee her belt for safekeeping as she awaited the arrival of her opponent, Sylphia Fairs.

It was a new day, and therefore a new match for the Fairy Princess Sylphia Fairs. Her LAW Career has gone pretty well. Apparently, LAW Management respects her skill enough that she was selected to be an opponent for the reigning DAW tag team champion and an undefeated wrestler in Aurora. This was a huge opportunity for Sylphia to really make a name for herself, because if she managed to defeat Aurora, she could send her career sky high. Sylphia looked determined, a smile across her face. No one was more ready than Sylphia when she headed to the ring with her music playing.

"And her opponent, standing at 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighing 115 pounds, THE FAIRY PRINCESS, SYLPHIA FAIRS!" The ring announcer yelled as Sylphia made her way out of the curtain to huge cheers from the crowd. Clad in her leotard, Sylphia ran down to the ring, slapping hands with some fans on the way down, and then sliding into the ring and heading to her corner to do a pose.

Sylphia looked at her opponent Aurora, and offered her a handshake.

Aurora smiled throughout her opponent's entrance. Sylphia had all the appearance and demeanor of a dignified woman that was here to do business. It felt good to Aurora to square off against someone that didn't see her as a stepping stone towards the main event and title picture. She studied the Fairy Princess's attire, her poise, the way she carried herself. She sensed no malice.

When Sylphia stepped forwards towards the center of the ring to offer a handshake, Estrella did the same.

"Wonderful to meet you, Sylphia. Something tells me you're going to hit me just a bit harder than your average fairy princess from the fables." Aurora joked as she took Fairs' hand with both of her own and offered a courteous handshake with a smile to match it.

"Let's have a great match, shall we?"

With that, The Galaxy Cat would step backward towards her corner and await the sound of the bell. The anticipation from the audience growed as the time came near. Once the bell rang, Aurora would circle the ring as a brisk pace, galloping to the side as she drew closer and closer to her opponent. If Aurora managed to close the gap, she'd lunge forwards quickly to attempt to snake an arm around the green-haired girl's head to apply a Side Headlock to start things off!

Sylphia got the handshake she requested from her opponent. "Thank you. Trust me, my kicks hit really hard. I hope the galaxy prepared you for me." Sylphia said as she headed back to her corner and the bell rang.

The two decided to circle the ring, before engaging in grappling, Aurora starting by putting Sylphia in a side headlock. Sylphia, though being strong for her size, decided to put her bare feet to use as she grunted. Sylphia attempted to kick the side of Aurora's thighs repeatedly to get her to let go.

Aurora noted her opponent's words. She made sure to make note of Sylphia's sizable confidence in her kicks. If The Fairy Princess wasn't just bluffing, Estrella would know that she'd had to strategize!

At the sound of the bell, The Galaxy Cat took the initiative! She circled the ring and drew in close to secure Fairs in a Side Headlock! Upon getting leverage on Sylphia, Estrella could feel the force of Sylphia digging her bare heel into the canvas beneath them both!

"Ungh! Uuuf!" Aurora cried out as she suffered a wicked kick to the thigh! And then another! Her grip on Sylphia's green-haired head began to waver! The second kick lifted Estrella off the canvas slightly! When the Sylphia went for a third kick, Aurora would release the Headlock preemptively!

"Ha!" Aurora let out a battle cry as she looked to catch the bare foot that threatened her! She'd attempt to take Sylphia's leg with both hands and counter by quickly spinning her way down to the canvas to target her lightweight opponent's leg with a Dragon Screw!

If the move was successful, Aurora would attempt to keep a firm grip on Sylphia's leg! She'd attempt to roll Fairs over and sit on her back to follow up with a Single Leg Boston Crab!

"You weren't kidding about those kicks! I'll be targeting these strong legs of yours if that's alright with you! They'd do me in otherwise."

Sylphia launched the quick strikes to Aurora's exposed thigh, forcing the bigger opponent to let go of the Fairy Princess. Seeing that, Sylphia prepared another kick, before Aurora grabbed it.

"HEY! I DID NOT PERMIT YOU TO TOUCH MY NICE THIGHS! Sylphia cried as she was in panic mode, before being taken down with a dragon screw, landing on her back, holding her leg in the process.

Sylphia wouldn't have much time to wallow as Aurora grabbed her bad leg Ana attempted to roll her over for a Single Leg Boston Crab. Sylphia, not wanting any of that, use her free leg to attempt to push Aurora off.

Aurora had quickly answered Sylphia's leg-based offense by targeting the very leg that was whipping against her own! After taking The Fairy Princess down and securing her in a Single Leg Crab, an outburst from Sylphia, along with her finding leverage by pushing off the canvas with her free leg allowed her a chance to force Estrella off of her person! The lightweight luchadora would find her balance after being pushed and assume a grappling stance.

"Well excuuuuuse me, princess!" Aurora began, eliciting a few laughs from the fans in attendance.

"Your thighs are indeed quite nice! But I can't just keep taking those kicks. Apologies for my lack of permission, but I hope you understand." Estrella would ready herself to engage Sylphia once more. But she waited for the Princess to regain her composure. When Fairs was back on her feet, Aurora would prompt her.

"May we resume, Sylphia? Are you ready?"

Sylphia quickly got up to her feet after kicking Aurora off of her. Now Sylphia was pouting, not exactly taking the joke well. Sylphia wanted to make Aurora pay the hard way.

So Sylphia decided to go for a superkick, aimed straight at Aurora's chin.

Aurora's amicable jokes and banter were met with nothing but punishment from Sylphia! The Fairy Princess struck quickly! Aurora barely had time to bring her forearms up to her face to block! But Sylphia was strong! Her impressive lower body strength almost made The Galaxy Cat's efforts to block irrelevant! Aurora yelped in pain as she staggered! She was forced backward several feet! Estrella nearly tripped over herself! She could only find her footing with the assistance of the ropes of the ring!

"Waaaahhhh! Ah! That was....quite uncalled for!" Aurora would protest. She'd try and find a chance to regroup near the ropes. If Sylphia didn't give her that chance, though, if The Fairy Princess gave chase, Aurora would look to drop down to the canvas while tugging on the top rope with both hands! She hoped to create a low bridge to give a charging Sylphia an express ticket over the top rope to the apron or the outside of the ring!

"Oh sorry, but I don't like the idea of being a joke to an opponent. If you don't take me seriously, you will pay." Sylphia said after delivering her superkick that pushed Aurora to the ropes with a lot of force. Sylphia transitioned into her normal position, both of her feet on the canvas. She needed to make sure the undefeated Aurora saw her as a threat to that undefeated record. As much as Sylphia loved joking around, this was a big opportunity for her, with even a tag title shot come be in her future if she defeats Aurora.

Sylphia showed her more serious side, the one that gave the Fairy Princess a reputation as a fierce striker, as she came straight for Aurora who was hanging on the ropes.

And then she went over the top rope, falling straight onto the floor, as she landed on her back, closing her eyes and gritting her teeth, holding her back in the process.
