Blossom Vs. Helena Unexpected Matchup

Helena stalked the backstage hallways of the arena again, happy to be let lose upon some unsuspecting idiot peasant she would force to grovel at her boots. The snide Canadian strut her way around appearing seductive but those that knew her kept their distance. That was fine. She liked it that way. Helena was going to go out and mess up whomever came in her way. The submission match was going to be a tough one for sure given her expected opponent but she wasn't going to let that from making the submission specialist submit to her natural superiority.

Helena was walking towards the ring when her music played, the crowd booing her loudly as she waved her hands dismissively at them. "Know when you are in the presence of your betters you insolent peons." She hissed at the nearby fans. As she climbed into the ring she smiled and strut around soaking up the booing fans. However something, or more correctly someone caught her eye. It was the timekeeper.

"Miss DuBois.. your opponent is not here, she is out with a nasty infection."

Helena blinked and glared at them before shaking her head. "Then find someone else you braindead simpleton! NOW! I have women to dominate so this place remembers why I shout be so venerated!"

Helena stood with her hands on her hips as the staff scrambled to find a replacement for her, anyone would do and it increasingly felt like the woman who cam marching down to the ring was going to be a mere sacrificial lamb...

So, yeah. This was a thing.

Blossom was just hanging out backstage, not even expecting a match. She’d just come to get some training in during the show and was on her way back home after a quick run on the treadmill, figuring she could catch the show once she got back and watch it over a bowl of spaghetti. She hadn't banked on being asked to do a match out of the clear blue, but that was precisely what happened when one of the stagehands pulled her away. Apparently, they needed someone to fill in for a match against somebody named Helena, and well, she was the first one they’d come across, so off she went.

Blossom got changed in record time, so fast, in fact, that she was still adjusting the straps when she came out from the back, with her

booming behind her. She threw a few quick waves to the fans, then skipped down the ramped, slid in under the ropes, and quickly popped to her feet to address her opponent.

She beamed as she approached the woman, a stunning, tall brunette with supermodel looks and a lovely flair about her. She liked those fur boots in particular, quite stylish. Hey, yo!” She extended her hand, looking for a shake. ”Blossom Fields, nice to meet ya!”

Helena saw an energetic, if unprepared looking young woman coming down. She grinned and stood with her hands on her hips, her gaze one of judgement. As soon as Blossom came down Hekena shook her head. "Hmph this is the replacement? I am Helena DuBois and I assure you the pleasure is all yours darling." Helena said with a sneer.

As the bell rang Helena approached and had her hands up for a grapple but once Blossom was within striking distance Helena would lash out with a hard toe kick to the abdomen to try to catch her off guard!

Ah, so Helena was one of those types. Blossom hadn't met one in wrestling before, but she’d heard tell of them a few times. Snobby people, mean for no reason, always out to put others down, generally unpleasant to be around.

In other words, Helena was a butt.

But it was maybe a good thing that she was so upfront with her buttness, because it meant that Blossom had an idea of who she was dealing with straightaway. When she came in for the lockup and got a kick instead, she wasn’t all that surprised by it, and was able to get her hand down in time to grab her by the ankle. ”Gotcha!”

Blossom with her grip tight on Helena’s leg, Blossom threw her body into a roll and took her opponent along with the ride, trying to send her flying with a dragon screw leg whip.

Helena scowled as her leg was caught, and unfortunately for her before she could react she was sent crashing down to the mat on her side with a dragon screw! "Oh you bratty little wretch!" Helena hissed as she winced, getting up and glaring at Blossom. Helena would try to spring towards Blossom after rising, using her long legs to cover the distance quickly while extending her arm to try to send Blossom down with a running clothesline! Helena hated that she hadn't wrestled in forever, and she hated that this woman had just embarrassed her.

Nailed it! So far, so good.

Blossom didn’t want to get carried away and cocky, but it was hard not to be confident after she’d down her opponent like that, dropping her flat and getting her riled up. It wouldn’t be enough to win the match, no, but it was a good start, and she looked to follow up on the moment by applying even more pressure.

She rose up and came rushing forward as her opponent did the same, swinging high for a clothesline. With Blossom being so short, though, she was in a perfect position to duck under it with ease, letting the strike fly overhead. She came out behind her opponent, reached out to grab her by the waist, and proceeded to pull her up, over, and down right on her shoulders, attempting to slam her with a…

”German Suplex!”

Helena felt the small woman grabbing her around the waist. She was shorter but not much lighter than Helena was herself, and this compact brat was trying to continue to humiliate true wrestling royalty! Helena grabbed at Blossom's grip but it was strong, so she did the next best thing she could think of wrapping one of her long legs around Blossom's to prevent the lift!

"Nice try you bratty bitch..." Helena hissed swinging an elbow around to try to smash the side of Blossom's head hoping to then smash her way to freedom with elbow strikes so she could then get to work on rectifying the start to the match unless Blossom had other tricks up her sleeve.

Okay, so maybe that wasn’t happening.

Blossom had started to heft Helena up for the German Suplex, but her opponent proved to be a bit more canny than she would’ve guessed, hooking her leg and stopping the ascent before it could go anywhere dangerous. That wasn’t such a big deal, Blossom could transition to something else easily enough, and she was about to do just that.

Then came the elbows—one, two, three, rocking against her skull. The third one was enough to dislodge her, and Blossom was left to stumble away in a wide-eyed stupor, her brain processing the damage for a moment.

Helena scowled as she shook her head stepping back towards Blossom. This plain peasant looking girl was with glamourous wrestling royalty. She wasn't going to idly sit by while this woman threw her around! Helena swung her leg up again aiming a sharp kick across the abdomen of Blossom, then a second. She was all business as she reached out trying to wrap an arm around Blossom's head while running forward. Helena wanted to keep hold of her opponents head while jumping, kicking her legs out to help bring Blossom crashing down face first with a running bulldog! This would provide some measure of demonstrating to Blossom her place while helping Helena build momentum... if things went according to plan.

Not that Blossom needed it, but the elbows to her face were a stern reminder that she didn’t like getting hit. It had never been a problem with her amateur wrestling career, but now that she was dealing with professional wrestling, it was a growing concern, something she would have to adapt to.

But she wasn’t such a lightweight that a few hits to the face would leave her totally helpless, and as Helena moved in to take advantage, she was afforded a chance to prove as much. The woman grabbed her by the head and rushed forward, looking like wanted a bulldog, but Blossom grabbed her by the waist as she leaped, dropped down to a single-leg, and forced her opponent come down on upturned leg, driving her down hard to spike her tailbone with an Atomic Drop.
