Clara Gaster vs. Kayla Mizrahi - Maid To Own

It truly seemed hopeless. Clara was a prey, surrounded by a pack of vicious preditors. A lot of the recovered maids looked at Clara with disdain, likely wanting punishment for her earlier fight backs in the match.

They dashed at the Brit, ramming hard fists into her gut. The punches weren't anything to write home about... but the numbers made up for the amount of pain. No matter how much Clara tried to shove or punch back against the maids, another would take her place. Clara fell to her knees, with the maids once again trying to restrain the Brit by her arms...

Suddenly, however, the crowd hit a fever pitch, and Clara realized she didn't imagine things. Right as Kayla approached to beat Clara up, a small figure appeared behind the Head Maid, delivering a hard Chop Block against her knee!

"Alice?!", Clara let out, with her reply being a single punch to the maid gripping on Clara's right hand courtesy of the Pale Rider!

Had this gone the way Kaylah envisioned? No. Not by any means.

Would she adapt? Certainly.

Frustrating as this woman had proved to be, only the result mattered, and now they’d reached that point. While Clara had proven to be more resolute than she had bargained for, she finally had the woman right where she wanted her - cut off, outnumbered, humbled. It was where she belonged, and the Iron Maid wished she had time to appreciate the situation in greater detail. Time was at a premium, however…

Just as she was beginning to move in, however, a sudden disturbance from the crowd divided her attention. Cheering? Something had gotten their interest, and by the time she realized what that was, it was already too late - Kaylah cried out as the sharp pain shot through her legs and sent her falling backward, laid out by a cowardly strike from behind.

She landed on her back, nursing her aching leg, and looked up to see her attacker: Alice, one of the few people who would have the gall to interfere in the Baroness’ business. Her teeth clenched and she looked back to her fellow maids, who looked equally as surprised. ”For crying out loud…are you all blind?” She snapped her fingers. ”Get her!”

Her words were enough to inject some urgency in her compatriots as two broke away and surged towards Alice, looking to tackle her to the mat.

With Clara partially freed, the second maid holding her hand attempted to strike at the Brit, only for Clara to see the attack coming from a mile away. Clara would pull on the maid's arm, pulling her towards herself while turning around, trying to hip toss her on the floor!

Alice's attention, meanwhile, was taken by 2 more women dashing for her. One took the initiative, trying to grab Alice and get her to the floor, only for the Pale Rider to wrap her arm around the woman's neck, and fall down with her motion, drilling her head into the canvas with a DDT!

This left the other maid, who quickly tried to avenge her knocked out partner, pinning Alice's shoulders to the floor, while swinging to nail Alice in the face!

By this point, however, Clara was already free, as she dashed at the maid to Superkick her across the jaw, freeing her sister!

Kaylah swore there were days when she wondered if she was the only competent maid in the entire mansion.

She looked on as her fellow maids tried to rush the sisters, only to come up pathetically short. She took a DDT for her troubles and was summarily dispatched, and while the other one had the presence of mind to at least try and take advantage of that, she lacked the foresight to realize how vulnerable it left her. Clara quickly nailed her with a superkick before any real damage could be done, and just like that, they were both down.

Barely a distraction. Pathetic. Kaylah knew who she would recommend to the Baroness when she needed nighttime playthings.

For now, however, she focused on the task at hand - if you wanted something done, you had to do it yourself. She came rushing towards Carla with her arm outstretched, looking to take the woman down with a quick lariat.

Clara and Alice have chased away or knocked down the attacking maids, the rest had scuttled away. Clara turned to her sister as Alice rose up:

”Thanks Alic—-“

”WATCH OUT!!!”, Alice shouted, shoving Clara out of the way. Clara, fatigued and tired, was slow on the information uptake, confused as Alice was the one who got a hard Superkick in her jaw!

The attack sent the smaller woman flying, landing near the ropes, as Clara turned with righteous fury in her eyes.

”You…”, she said through gritted teeth, rising up to face Kayla!

”Me.”

It was a stroke of good luck that Clara and Alice’s confusion had worked in Kayla’s favor, and she wasn’t about to let this opportunity slip away. Once the other woman was out of the picture, she put all of her focus on the sole survivor - her opponent, her true target. She came in fast and threw her elbow out, trying to hit the smaller woman across the face and force her to spin around. It would only stun her for a moment, but a moment was all she required.

She reached out, seized Clara’s arms, and forced them behind her back with a double chickenwing, keeping her tight and secure. Kayla pulled her in, lifted her up high, and kept her aloft as she paraded about the ring, putting her on display like a prized trophy. It would only last for a few moments, however, before she released her foe, threw her forward, and fell down into a sitting position to send her crashing into the mat at harrowing speeds, looking to nail her with the move she’d designated as her finisher: the Feather Duster.

Clara dashed towards Kayla, arm wound up for a punch, as she tried to ram it into the maid’s face, trying to set her up for her finishing move…

…but Clara miscalculated. Kayla went for the strike as well, but the maid, owing to her size, had more reach!

”GUAGH!!!”, Clara let out, spun on the spot by the strike. As she saw her vision briefly darken, she felt her arms being seized from the back…and then suddenly, she was in the air! Her legs and arms couldn’t respond to her, Kayla produly parading her victim to her doom, as Clara felt panic washing over her…

…a moment later, she was thrown down, face-first, with authority. Her vision went black as she laid on the ground, motionless…

Done. Finally.

With Kayla’s patience at its end, she planted Clara down on the mat, driving her into the canvas with no small amount of venom. While she wasn’t pleased, overall, with the way things had gone, she couldn't complain about the results - the Baroness had tasked her with sending a message, and she felt that message was adequately delivered. If anyone in LAW ever doubted what would come of them if they crossed the Renauld family, they need only watch this match to see their future.

She looked back towards Alice, making sure she wasn’t in a state to do anything about this, then rolled Clara over and sat on her stomach, using her solid weight to keep the smaller woman down. Kayla reached over, grabbed her legs, pulled them in close and leaned back to complete the pinfall, ready to put a period on this match.

The referee seemed disgusted by it all, but she came over and did her job all the same, reluctantly slapping the mat.

”1…!”

"Mggh...", Alice groaned in the aftermath of the superkick, her adrenaline rush that stemmed from rushing in to save Clara dissipated. The ref was awake, as well as disgusted by the fact that the Kayla was coming out on top. Alice herself hated this...but despite wanting to get Kayla off her perch on top her sister, she knew Clara would despise her if the loss was tainted even more. She hated how much her sister interfered in her career this year, and she knew she was better than being petty about it. Regardless, even as she tried to move, she was sluggish. There was no way she could make it to Kayla in time. Instead, she tried to recover, collect her strength in case her sister needed help.

Clara was still out of it, however, no movement coming from her limbs as the referee counted:

"TWO!"

And so, it was done.

Kayla breathed a deep sigh of relief and slumped off to the side as the crowd showered her with boos, cursing her name, acting as if she had even a single reason to care about their opinion. That entire match had been an ordeal, far more than she expected for something that was heavily slanted in her favor. Perhaps not the most auspicious way to start her career in LAW, but then, this had never been about fame - no, everything she did, she did for the Baroness.

Huffing and puffing, she used the ropes for support as she rose up and sneered down at her fallen foe. She gave Clara a contemptuous kick in the side out of sheer spite, glared at Alice, then proceeded to slip through the ropes and limp her way up the ramp, while her fellow maids filed in behind her.

Message. Sent.
