Phoebe Justice vs Enrieta Rosu

Phoebe managed to get to the ropes, the final word before doing so being a defiant: ”NO!”, before grabbing the rope! Despite needing to break the hold, the Romanian actually increased the pressure!

”GRRRRRGH!!!”

Finally, ref’s orders forced Enrieta to let go, as Phoebe was left to nurse her hurting leg, now feeling the pulses both at her ankle and knee. Part of her wondered why Enrieta felt such anger towards her? They haven’t met before this time… maybe there was something she found in her file that she disliked?

Other part of Phoebe? Wanted to smash Enrieta’s face into the ground!

Right as she stood up, shaking her head at the ref to make sure she knew she could continue, Enrieta would dash at her trying to drive her shoulder into Phoebe’s body…

…only for Phoebe to ground herself, hissing in pain she put weight on her body, and trap the Romanian’s head under her arm! Phoebe would drive her still healthy knee into her rival’s body, letting out painful grunts as she worked her rival whenever she put weight on her hurting leg… before wrapping her arms around Enrieta’s for a Butterfly position, and falling onto her back, drilling the Flying Snake’s head into the canvas with a Butterfly DDT!

Enrieta was surprised to find herself under Phoebe's arm after her charge failed. But before the rookie could do anything to escape or protect herself, her body was rattled by the cop's knee.

For what it was worth, Enrieta didn't have anything personal against her opponent. The main thing she cared about of her was thag she was relatively experienced in contrast to her. To the Romanian Viper, that meant her best chance at victory was to be very aggressive, make up for her disadvantage in years by being ready and eager to cause pain.

It had seemed to work pretty well, but it had the predictable disadvantage of pulling the nastiness out of someone with more experience applying it in a ring. Which the flying snake was about to experience right now, taking a devestating DDT by the ropes. For a moment, everything went black.

With the DDT delivered, Enrieta seemed down for the count! Phoebe's next move was quite simple - turn her rival on her back and try and pin her for the 3! Enrieta seemed out of it, and a pin attempt might secure a pin here...

...and if not? Then Phoebe could at least use a moment to catch her breath from the brutal brawl with her Romanian rival!

When the referee made the second count, Enrieta opened her eyes and vaugely recognized where she was when she saw the ring ropes and heard the second count, by pure reflex, she grabbed for the ropes.

As the flying snake came to a greater awareness of her circumstances, how tired she felt and in how much the pain she'd been supressing was catch up ti her, she found herself quickly regretting grabbing the ropes. The Romanian even hoped the referee didn't notice, as at least she cpukd claim the match was stoken from her when it ended, but the she had no such luck, as the count was broken.

Enrieta though, was in absolutely no position to fight back. She was more or less entirely spent, she'd certainly wouldn't have escaped the pin were it not for it the rope being within arms length away. After all the nastiness that the romanian viper had shown her american opponent, the efforts to hurt her ankle, bloodying her face, the punches, the kicks, now was Phobe's opportunity to get terrible vengence on her virtually defenseless foe.

All the Flying Snake physically could do now was brace for what was to come. Yet there still remained a stupid bit of pride, enough for her to say one more thing to the cop:

"You'll...need...to...do...worse, bitch."

Phoebe's eyes shot wide open, confused for a millisecond... right up until she shot her head up. The ropes were too close. This was such a rookie error, one that was repeated even by multi-decade veterans, but it was hard not to scream at herself in her head about blocking the arm from reaching the ropes. WIth a growl, Phoebe grabbed her rival's hair, right as Enrieta called on her to bring it...

...and Phoebe was more than happy to do it.

Getting her rival up to her feet, she would spin on the spot, aiming her heel straight for the Romanian's jaw, for her finishing Rider Kick K!

Enrieta at least thought she made peace with the fact that she'd be losing be losing this match. It wasn't as though the Romanian hadn't put her opponent through whole lot of pain to get to this point. Enough that she had some hope the match would leave behind a few physical marks on the veteran fighter, maybe even cause or contribute to some chronic pain. Something somehow, that'd leave her with some regret or anger about the match.

Regardless it made sense to speak of the match in past-tense, as Phoebe pulled Enrieta up by her hair, it should have been pretty clear there was absolutely no fight left in the flying snake. If the cop carefully looked at the young lionessess' face, she might have realized that despite the words of defiance, there was still a good deal of fear. She had regretted grabbing the ropes and extending the match after having done it by instinct, after all.

If the cop wanted, she could have tossed Enrieta toward the centre of the ring and pinned her. If she wanted to be a bit meaner about it, Phoebe could have even gone for a submission move instead, even held it a few moments after the bell rang to send a message.But what scared the romanian the most was that american did not move her away from the ropes much at all. Even in this state, Enrieta was cognicent enough to know what that mean't. Phoebe intended to knock her out cold.


If Phoebe wanted to derive some satisfaction from knowing for certain that she'd put the Romanian Viper down in desructive fashion, she'd get soon get a fine indication of that. No amount of 'bracing' for impact was enough to prepare her for what was coming.


A SMACK rang out as Phoebe's boot heel slammed into Enrieta's jaw, clearly audiable to those in the nearby front row, even above the noise of the crowd. She fell, twisting from the rotation of the kick and bounced off the ring ropes before falling to the canvas.

The referee would call the match soon enough, but what would phoebe feel? Satisfaction, pity, regret, some combination of the three? All were justfiable. Enrieta, would have been estatic to have knocked Phoebe in her debut match, so that made it fair. But Enrieta was just a rookie wanting to make her mark, of course she'd be aggressive. Perhaps the cop had just gotten carried away? Regardless, what was done, was done.

The kick rang throughout the arena with a bone on skull rattle, to the point where the audience audibly groaned at how hard the impact was. Phoebe couldn't deny - she put a lot behind the attack. Enrietta wasn't of a cheating sort. Neither woman did anything particularly out of the way to anger their opponent, at least from what she believed...

...no, the truth of the matter was that Phoebe and Enrietta developed a genuine dislike for each other as the match continued. Phoebe wanted to believe that her dislike was simply reacting to how vicious Enrieta and her comments were against her... but as she saw the Romanian rookie slump against the ropes and then onto the ground, she wasn't so sure. Her brutality, her looking down on Phoebe...something about the Romanian didn't endear her to the American, she realized as her unconscious body laid at her feet.

Phoebe was about to fall down for the pin, knowing she wouldn't even be able to hook the leg... but the referee stopped her.

"SHE IS OUT, RING THE BELL!!!"

DING DING DING!

Suddenly... all the hurt from the match crashed down on Phoebe. Adrenaline masked the word Enrieta did on her leg earlier in the match and the moment the bell rung, she buckled under her own weight, dropping onto the ropes as she cringed in pain and fatigue. The ref motioned to backstage, calling medics to help both women to the back...

Enrieta would eventually come too, as the medics arrived to bring both her and her opponent to the back. She wqs angry at Phoebe for beating her during her debut match, obviously, but more importantly she felt a strong disdain for her with every blow. She clearly wanted every attack to hurt, not just to win, but leave the romanian with nasty bruises and in lasting pain. This was no clearer than with the match ending kick, more or lesd anything would have made do, but the cop put much more than was required into it.

The Viper took some solace in knowning she'd beat phoebe badly enough that she too needed to be attended to by medics, but that was not enough, Enrieta wanted her to lose a fight to her. Not even just the match. She'd already began to resolve she'd fight the woman again, any time or place she was ready, didn't even need to be in a ring, she just wanted her to accept the fight. Neither of them had cheated in the match, she had no desire to catch her by surprise, but beat her fairly. For now, however, defeat was Enrieta's.
