Petra A. Vs. Allen R. - Climbing The Mountain

Petra would have liked to have rolled out of the ring following her breakout, or at least rolled a distance away from Allen so that she could regroup. Neither happened as her foe followed up, with Allen grabbing ahold of Petra rather quickly to begin forcing her upright. Hell at this point Petra would have even settled for the strength to suddenly burst up and forward at Allen, to turn the rise against her aswell. But such never occurred, for what breath and strength was in Petra was being used to support her standing straight, as Allen forced her up.

All the while the Greek tried to shake her head, as if to force some sense and fighting prowess back into it. And just maybe, a little focus into her whirling eyes too!

It seemed that Petra was devastated from all the attacks that she had taken earlier, and Allen would try to take advantage of this. Already pulling her opponent up, the British high-flyer decided to drag her towards the nearest corner, looking to keep her there, draping her arms over the top rope. After positioning her opponent at the turnbuckle, Allen would then move towards the opposite corner, keeping her eyes on her opponent at the same time.

Then, she would prepare herself before she charged towards her opponent, planning to hit her with a corner splash in order to inflict more damage on her. Of course, she was counting on Petra not be able to avoid the splash, and there was always the possibility of her avoiding the attack by moving to the side.

Petra moved against her will, barely flopping as Allen handled the lithe Greek frame. Rather than haplessly resist, and likely earn a few strikes in return, Petra took her gaze to the corner where an idea would come to mind. With the aid of the ropes to brace her and the corner to prop her up, this would serve as the ideal spot to make her counter. Depending on what Allen had in mind, of course.

Her head low as she was placed against the ropes, Petra looked through slightly closed eyes to see what her firm bodied foe was transpiring. Evidently whatever it was involved more than enough force, with Allen near enough pacing to the other side of the ring to get the run up. Petra had already taken impacts for one day from Allen's corner arsenal, and she certainly wasn't going to take anymore.

Propping herself up by the time Allen was in position to begin her sprint, Petra would wait until Allen closed the distance before launching her counter. Rather than do anything excessive or complex, Petra opted for the short but sweet form of attack, with her hands pushing to the ropes. Her right leg extended, as she looked to drive her foot straight into Allen's chest with a jumping big boot, before her foe could even begin to do whatever she had intended!

Already positioning Petra right at the corner, Allen then made her way towards the opposite corner, preparing herself to launch her next attack. After preparing herself, Allen would then take a running start, charging towards her cornered opponent with the intention of hitting her with a corner splash. Expecting that the move would go seamlessly, she didn't expect any sort of opposition from her opponent.

And sure enough, Petra managed to subvert her expectation as she brought up one of her feet, and Allen ended up running chest first into her foot. "BUAGHH!!!" Allen's eyes widened as she ran into Petra's foot, and she was knocked off her feet, falling onto the mat. Her mouth was wide open as she struggled to breathe, bringing her hands onto her chest, leaving herself vulnerable to her opponent before her.

Petra's kick was sudden and desperate, but it was perhaps such that made it all the more effective. For had she stopped to think things through, namely how best to respond, Allen would have surely punished her for it with that intended splash!

Panting after driving her boot into Allen's core, a part of Petra wanted to hook a leg and see if the sheer shock of the scenario now forced upon her foe would bring about an end. Extending her arm for said leg, the Greek would change her mind at the last second, to reign her elbow down on near enough the same spot she had just stamped on!

"I am not being sorry for that!" She'd snarl in her curious English, as Petra push past any feelings of guilt over her violent counter in favour of continuing the punishment. Clambering atop her foe soon after, Petra would look to hook her arm around the head of Allen as she dropped her rear onto her lap. To pull Allen's head not against her torso for a headlock, but under her armpit!

For a rather sudden yet brutal guillotine choke! If one dangerously close to the ropes, that Petra herself was just resting on!

Allen was struggling to breathe after running chest first into Petra's foot. She tried to regain her breath, but this left her vulnerable to her opponent, who seemed to be going to gain an upper hand over her. Unable to do anything, Allen was helpless to stop Petra from subjecting her to a guillotine choke, and she wheezed as she found herself having difficulty to breathe.

"Hkkhhhh...!! Aaakghhh!!!"

Allen continued squirming, hoping that Petra would release her from the hold. Due to them being close to the ropes, Allen would try to at least move one of her hands to the nearest ropes, hoping to reach the bottom one, hoping to get herself a rope break. Even then, it would be extremely difficult for her to accomplish, and she would continue suffering the pressure from the guillotine choke.

Petra often showed great ring awareness, and in her many practice spars often opted for the tactile roll to put her and her foe centre fold when the ropes were in reach. This was perhaps an off moment for the young Greek then, given Petra was so determined to work the hold and slow Allen right back down, that she didn't even opt to consider where in the ring she was. Despite the fact she herself had been resting on the ropes a mere moment before!

"PETRA, ROPE BREAK!"

Petra's bared teeth and serious look were suddenly brought down, as the referee snapped the Greek back to reality almost. Never one to push the rules, even slightly, Petra let go instantly. Pushing off the ground besides Allen's shoulders, she'd look to come to a stand away from her foe, whilst pulling a look that screamed of frustration! Evidently, she was annoyed she was so blind in regards to the ropes!

Finally, Allen managed to reach the ropes, and she clutched onto the bottom one, not letting it go to make sure that Petra would release her from the guillotine choke. When Petra finally let her go, Allen was extremely relieved, and she would make use of this to recover and regain her breath. Still, the damage dealt was still there, and she would need extra time to recover if she ever wanted to turn things around in her favor.

"Errghhhh..." Groaning, Allen would try to pull herself up using the ropes. She gasped, struggling to breathe as she looked at the direction of Petra. She could see that her opponent had a look of frustration on her face. Once she was on her feet, Allen would let go of the ropes, though her movements seemed sluggish, indicating that she was far from fully recovered. She kept her eyes on Petra to see what her opponent would do, but in her current condition, her choices in defending herself were rather limited.

Petra felt that Allen still needed more damage to be truly under risk of being pinned or submitted, but the Greek herself felt she was in the same boat. The fact she had delivered more painful manoeuvres to Allen was somewhat balanced out by the stamina she had used to do so. If both women were stood by side, it would more than likely be Petra who would be the wobblier of the two. Even if Allen would be the one wincing louder.

Eyes to the referee as she turned back towards her, Petra would make sure that it was 'match legal' to resume the fight, after the customary short break was given following a rope escape. Hands raised as she came to Allen, Petra knew that simply running in and resuming the attack could not be done. Allen was looking right at her after all, even if she was currently overcome with ache.

Ever the cautious sort, Petra edged in step by step, hands raised, before suddenly ducking in low with arms extending. Mat wrestling skills put to use, Petra would seek to pull at the undersides of Allen's thighs and get her own hands in her opponents knee crooks, before pulling to accomplish a rather sublime take down attempt.

Almost at the same time as Petra, Allen let go of the ropes and readied herself for another clash with her opponent. She couldn't get herself to charge at her opponent right away due to her feeling exhausted. She carefully watched her opponent's movements, wanting to see what she would do next.

Also like Petra, she would slowly close in towards her, with her arms raised. But what she didn't expect was her opponent suddenly ducked, using a mat wrestling maneuver by pulling the undersides of her thighs before being taken down onto the mat. "Uhhhh!!!" She winced. Due to her condition, she couldn't immediately react to the takedown, and for the time being, she became a vulnerable target for her opponent.
