Duel of The North and East! Artemis Grace (d) vs Nayla Ameera

Artemis grunted as she finally managed to get up to her feet with the help of the ropes. Nayla was tough. Artemis would gladly give her fellow heavyweight that compliment. But she wasn’t infallible. Far from it. Artemis just needed to land one of her finishers, any of em and she knew she would have the win. The only question was how she would get there. Right now Nayla was focused on recovery and formulating a new strategy. Honestly Artemis knew she needed to do the same. But she also didn’t have the luxury of giving Nayla all the time and by extension herself. No Artemis needed to time this just right as she polished off a strategy in her head while slowly inching her way to the corner.

It seemed that both women were taking their times recovering, but Nayla knew that she needed to continue attacking Artemis if she ever wished to win. Hoping that she had enough strength regained, the Lebanese would approach Artemis, planning to grab onto her and pulling her towards the center of the ring. She planned to lift her up and hit her with a backbreaker, bringing her back first onto her propped knee. She was certain that if the attack connected, she would gain an upper hand over her opponent.

Artemis narrowed her eyes as she saw Nayla approaching her. At first Artemis cursed this development. However as the Lebanese approached Artemis soon smirked as she saw an oppurtunity if she could time this right. Groaning softly as she was grabbed by the other heavyweight Artemis would allow Nayla to take her to the middle of the ring. As the Lebanese would go to try and lift her up Artemis would throw her lower body up to add more momentum than the other woman was expecting so that the blonde woman would sail over Nayla. Gripping onto Nayla’s shoulders as she came down Artemis would brace her legs against the Lebanese’s back to pull her down into a backstabber as a reversal.

After dragging Artemis towards the center of the ring, Nayla lifted her up and prepared to hit her with a backbreaker, but much to her surprise, Artemis used this against her as she used the momentum of her being lifted up to get herself behind her before bringing her down, hitting her with a backstabber in quite a reversal.

"AARGH!!"

Nayla cried out in pain as she took the backstabber. She recoiled from it before ending up slumping against the mat. She groaned as she tried to bring her hand on her aching back, and the pain made it difficult for her to focus on the fight, leaving herself an easy target for Artemis to work on. She could only hope that she could recover quickly to defend herself against whatever Artemis would do next.

After landing the successful reversal Artemis took a moment to rest on the for a moment basking in the glory of landing the move. However it would only last a moment as Artemis would push herself to her feet and approach her downed opponet. Seeing her opponet recoiling on the mat and arching her back in pain gave Artemis idea. It was a bit wicked for her taste, but it was effective, and objectively the best thing she could do in the situation. Reaching down Artemis would grab Nayla by the shoulders and force her into a sitting position. Using Nayla’s own body as brace Artemis would throw one leg back before swinging it forward for a brutal knee right to her opponet’s hurting back.

Nayla was still in pain after taking the attack from Artemis earlier, and as she writhed on the mat, it seemed that Artemis had a plan for her as she pulled her up into a seated position, and at this point, the Lebanese was in no shape to defend herself against whatever her opponent would do to her next. Put in the sitting position, she then took a knee strike right at her aching back.

"AARGHHH!!!"

Nayla let out a pained scream, her eyes widening in shock as she took the blow. The pain momentarily left her incapacitated, leaving herself unable to do anything, whether to attack or defend. She fell to her side, bringing her hand to the spot where she was struck, arching her back as she tried to nurse the pain that left her unable to do anything, groaning all the while.

"Uuuughhhh..."

Artemis smirked in satisfaction as she landed the knee strike to Nayla’s back. Seeing her opponet successfully stunned Artemis nodded to herself. Grabbing the middle eastern woman by her hand and ankle, she dragged her a bit closer towards the corner before turning and quickly climbing up the corner. Turning around the blonde Canadian would nod to herself seeing the woman below her was still down. Standing up she would leap up and through the air while jutting her elbow out as she came down for her elbow drop finishing move which she called the Silver Arrow aimed right at Nayla’s chest!

Nayla was stunned thanks to the strike to her back, and she was lying on the mat, groaning in pain, unable to do anything to defend herself against whatever Artemis would do next. As the Lebanese was on the mat, Artemis went on to grab onto her hand and ankle, dragging her closer towards the corner where she planned to bring this match to an end.

Laid out on the mat close to the corner, Nayla tried her best to recover, but it seemed that Artemis would be able to complete the set up of her move unimpeded as she then climbed up the turnbuckle, preparing herself to launch her attack. Nayla could see Artemis at the top of the turnbuckle before the other woman leaped up into the air, jumping towards the Lebanese with her elbow aimed to her chest.

"UOOORGHHH!!!"

Nayla's eyes widened as she took the elbow into her chest. She could feel her lungs emptied by the sheer impact. Her limbs flopped as Artemis landed her attack on her, and then, she went limp, her eyes unfocused and her lips parted slightly, her tongue sticking out a little. At this point, it looked like Nayla had no fight left in her, and Artemis would be able to secure her victory over her.

Artemis released a deep breath of relief that she didn’t realize she was holding. She knew very well had that elbow missed she would have lost the match. But there was no time to dwell on what could have been or what would have happened. Her arrow had struck true and her prey was vulnerable. Draping herself over Nayla’s chest Artemis leaned over grabbing one of Nayla’s legs and weakly lifted it up for a pinfall.

Artemis' attack seemed to have taken most if not all of Nayla's fight. After hitting her with her elbow, Artemis went for the pin, grabbing one of her legs as she placed herself on top of the Lebanese. The referee started counting for the pin, and it looked like Nayla wasn't going to kick out anytime soon. It was apparent that she was done and could no longer continue the fight.
