Ashera's flinch from the kick was the assurance needed that Clarisse could go on to leap at her with both hands clasped together like a hammer to bring it down on her face. To her annoyance, which wasn't too much, but rather subtle, the hothead blocked it to absorb a lot of the force and now that Clarisse had to find her footing and stabilize herself, she left herself open for Ashera to attack, which she took full advantage of, ramming her back against the apron!
