Wyvern wasn't particularly expecting any of her jabs to connect without committing to them, but they still help her get a read on Alizeh's reaction time and speed. It was impossible for her to not be feeling the effects of tiredness and pain after the match had been going this long, it was just a question of much of an impact they were having. Unsurprisingly, not as much as most. Wyvern would have been disappointed otherwise.

"Yeah, yeah, don't wear it...wait..."

As she replies, Wyvern shifts her weight backwards onto her heel. For a kickboxer like her, it's a very defensive stance, leaving her front leg open to make snap kicks in response to her opponent's movements. It looks like she's willing to let Alizeh take the offensive now rather than try to keep up her own. Whether that's a tactical decision or a byproduct of her bemusement remains to be seen.

"...Did you not know my name?"

Once again, there's a guileless quality to Saoirse's tone. Alizeh's taunt apparently went straight over her head. She doesn't have the attention to spare between two conversational threads while also keeping her guard up to avoid giving her opponent any easy openings.

It was amazing just how fast the tides and tones of the match were shifting between the two. First it was serious, all business between the two middleweights, before reaching a fever point in which the intensity was practically overbearing and overwhelming from Wyvern to Alizeh. Yet now the two women were having an almost casual conversation in the midst of taking shots at each other, looking for a opening.

Having successfully avoided Wyvern's jabs Alizeh would watch and take note of how the dark haired girl shifted stances into a more defensive position. Recognizing this as her chance to act Alizeh was quick to dart in a bit closer to the Irish lass, though she would remain weary of her foes legs, which looked primed to punish Alizeh if she slipped up.

Though none of this meant that Alizeh was ignoring what Saoirse was saying. "Pfft no, I thought only HR did." Alizeh said as she swept her leg up at Wyvern's own, testing just how quick she still was, all while being ready to shift her footing on a dime to push herself to the side and avoid any possible counter kicks from Wyvern in return.

While the exact words being spoken aren't loud enough to be heard, the sudden shift back to amicability between the two wrestlers is immediately obvious. Another behavior that was strange to the crowd, but natural to Alizeh and Wyvern. The banter was friendly enough, but it never stopped the fight. A second conversation held underneath the first, silent but far more complex. The Irish wrestler's sudden realization of Alizeh's ignorance of her name, however, causes her to shift her balance, pausing both momentarily before Alizeh picked up the offense.

"What did you think my Twitter username was? Just random letters?"

Although mildly offended, Wyvern has still learned enough to not let her guard down for even a moment. Seeing the sweep coming, she leaps Alizeh's leg entirely, twisting her body into a 360 crescent kick aimed at her opponent's head as she does so. Such a flashy move would generally fall outside of Wyvern's style, but Alizeh seems to bring out the small amount of showmanship that Wyvern possesses. Despite usually being reserved for demonstrations rather than actual fights, the move does serve practically here as well; the jumping kick carries just as much if not more force than one of Wyvern's usual ones, and has extensive horizontal range due to how close Wyvern was when she launched it.

Alizeh could definitely say she preferred this Wyvern over any other so far. Not super dark and brooding, but just brooding enough to have some fun with talking to... and the fact she wasn't dead set on crippling her with strikes helped a lot too. So having an opportunity right now Alizeh wasn't gonna let the chance slip to converse with Wyvern, especially since she finally learned her real name! "Have you seen half of Twitter usernames?" Alizeh asked rhetorically back at Wyvern, the girl's amazement at Alizeh's ignorance of her name making the green haired girl pout, or she would be if this weren't a match.

None the less Alizeh was ready after her sweep kick missed. Seeing Wyvern jump meant she had something planned Alizeh watched as the girl twisted her body to go for a awesome spinning roundhouse kick! "Ngh!" Grunting as she took it Alizeh's arms immediately went up to grab onto the limb before Wyvern could pull it back. "Ok that was pretty awesome." Alizeh said with a grin before leaping up while still holding the leg and shooting her legs out to try and hit a unprepared Wyvern right in the stomach with a shotgun dropkick to send her too the mat!

"Would it surprise you if I said no?"

Wyvern's response is dry, but it makes sense. She seems to be pretty laser-focused on fighting, with a side gig in snide comments. On the fighting side of things, the Irish wrestler takes Alizeh's seizure of her leg in stride, extending her other back down to the ground to support herself in an impressive display of balance. Unfortunately, that just leaves her vulnerable to the Emerald Storm's next move.

"Been doing this for eight-hnf-years."

Unable to dodge or properly strike back with her leg trapped, Wyvern brings both arms down across her stomach to cushion the impact as Alizeh's dropkick lands. With only a single leg on the ground between the two of them, Wyvern is unable to stay on her feet after the impact and both wrestlers are sent down to the canvas. Wyvern lands heavily but recovers quickly, and begins aiming kicks with her free foot at Alizeh's ribs. The awkward angle prevents her from getting too much force behind them, but that merely downgrades them from "bone-cracking" to "ouch."

"Ought've...picked...up...something...by now..."

Each word is punctuated by another attempt at a strike.

"Hmm not really." Alizeh said right back to Wyvern in response to what she said, almost casually as if the two were in a bar and not a wrestling ring trying to beat the crap out of one another. But thats just the way wrestling was sometimes, and frankly Alizeh wouldn't have it any other way. Still there was one issue with Alizeh's chosen method of offense against Wyvern... that being both of them were now on their backs... in range of each other.

So as a result Wyvern's first instinct was to start kicking wildly with her legs. "Gah! Ugh! Ngh!" She groaned out in pain with each blow as they connected. Not quite as hard as they had before, but still pretty painful. But Alizeh was nothing if not resourceful, especially when limbs were involved. So as Wyvern attempted another kick with her leg, Alizeh would reach up to catch it by the ankle again.

If successful in doing so Alizeh would attempt to kip up to her feet as soon as she was able to. "So have I!" She would say if successful in doing so before Alizeh would immediately drop down again, this time twisting as she did so, aiming to spike Wyvern's knee down on the mat with a dragon screw!

Alizeh's plan goes off without a hitch. While Wyvern's kicks are as painful as ever, the awkward angling makes it easy to capture one with her arms. Wyvern isn't able to pull free in time to stop Alizeh from kipping up; if anything, her efforts just make it easier for the Texan wrestler to regain her feet now that she has something to hold onto. And with her leg in the air, she's unable to do similarly before Alizeh spikes her knee back down onto the canvas. All-in-all, it could be called a complete success. Rotated onto her stomach by the twisting move, Wyvern lies there for a moment before propping her self up on her elbows. When she turns back, the barest hint of a malign smile crosses her lips.

"My knee? Really? What did this poor ring ever do to you?"

Despite her bravado, Wyvern most certainly did feel that impact, and the throbbing in her knee will plague her for some time. She'll be damned before she admits it, though. Attempting to tug her foot free if Alizeh still has a hold on it, Wyvern aims to spin herself back into a kneeling position facing her opponent before getting to her feet and reassuming her fighting stance. The longer they stay on the ground, the more of an advantage Alizeh has.

This was pretty much exactly what Alizeh had wanted in a rematch against Wyvern. Non stop action, a little bit of banter, and an intense spirit of competition that was burning to a whole new level the longer it went on. Now though Alizeh and Wyvern were really in the thick of it. Both were tired and hurt and keen on ending this sooner rather than later. But each of them needed that golden opportunity in order to do it. And Alizeh believed she may have had it now after landing that dragon screw to spike her knee on the mat. Something that would prove invaluable once she went for her finish...

Smirking at Wyvern as she heard the woman's response Alizeh would bend her legs in a bit. "Heh you mean despite nearly knocking my head off?" Alizeh shot back before darting forward at Wyvern, her arms coming up and around as if for a lock up. Instead however Alizeh would push off her heel and swing her leg up to instead to go for a stomp to Wyvern's damaged knee!

Injury to the knee should have been a crippling disadvantage for Wyvern. For a striker who used as many kicks as she did, strong legs were necessary for every aspect of her fighting style. After all, even punches needed a properly supported stance to be fully effective. Even so, the Irish wrestler's ability to seemingly ignore pain once again proves itself as a powerful tool, and she wastes no time trying to lessen the complaints from her knee before continuing the fight. Wounds were a concern for later, and a personal one at that. She was sharing this match, and she didn't want to lose a moment of it to unnecessary self-preservation. Alizeh would take everything she had, and she was all too eager to give it.

Alizeh's fake-out approach is successful; Wyvern does not properly read her intention to switch from the seeming lock-up attempt into a stomp. Unfortunately for the Texan wrestler, Wyvern's response to both is the same. As the Emerald Storm closes in, Wyvern pushes off of her back leg and surges forward. Seeing what's about to happen, she quickly realizes she has little hope of avoid it and fully commits to her own attack. As Alizeh's foot smashes into her already-damaged knee, Wyvern drives her fist forward into Alizeh's stomach, aiming to deliver a spear-like strike to her opponent's solar plexus.

The second blow to her knee in such a short period of time is agony, and Wyvern emits a quick hiss of pain as it impacts. She had planned to immediately rise to her feet after her strike, but her leg refuses to work properly after the two hits and she can't raise herself with the other due to her current, lunging stance. She is therefore forced to bring her back leg forward and under her, but this wastes precious time before she is finally able to rise unsteadily to her feet, now clearly favoring her good leg.

Alizeh was hurting and sore all over, the skill and raw explosive power of Wyvern having definitely taken its toll on Alizeh over the course of the match. Not that it bothered Alizeh much however, after all she was far too excited and hyped for this bout to continue, to keep fighting Wyvern as long as possible until one of them physically couldn't stand anymore. It was a feeling she knew was reciprocated by her opponent. One that she could tell just by looking into the intense amber eyes of her opponent and seeing the sheer intensity there despite the utter agony she must have been in from the shots to the knee Alizeh had been taking.

Yet despite the damage done to her knee Wyvern wasn't able to be brought down so easily, even shocking Alizeh who knew just physically tough Wyvern was. Before she could really process it however Alizeh would find herself becoming victim to another of Wyvern's titanic strikes, this time in the form of a gut punch from Wyvern that immediately drove the air from Alizeh's lungs and made her stumble back a couple of steps away from Wyvern gasping.

'Damn..' Alizeh thought to herself in frustration, though she had at least one saving grace in the form of Wyvern's knee indeed showing the result of the damage Alizeh had done to it, causing her to buckle and fall. It wasn't much, but it at least bought Alizeh a few seconds which is all she needed to break out into a run at Wyvern! However her plan wasn't to go for a direct frontal assault on Wyvern. No instead Alizeh was actually looking to go past Wyvern all together, instead making a break for the ropes behind Wyvern! If successful Alizeh would turn and rebound off the ropes, running back at Wyvern with high speed, hoping to catch the girl off guard with the speed before leaping up and turning midair, aiming to crash into Wyvern with a hip attack!
