Submission Match: Kamen Moon vs. GASTER!

The words out of GASTER's mouth as she struggled back against the crossface sent a chill through Kamen Moon's spine. She winced, intensely worried about how the rest of this match was going to go down. Moon had dedicated herself to having solid, sound wrestling technique. However, trying to lay into someone enough to force them to submit wasn't exaclty what she prided herself on. She wanted to best her opponent, not torture them!

After releasing the hold to the rope break, Moon was nursing her arm and trying to size GASTER up for her next plan of attack. Moon took a good look at the Shadow Lord, her eyes narrowing beneath her mask. She had put everything she had into that crossface, and it had failed to do the trick.

Moon felt a twinge of regret, at that. It felt like a failure, her skill and her drive being insufficient to make GASTER admit defeat. Moon shook her head, trying to dispel that notion of doubt. The battle wasn't over yet, she told herself. There was no room to think like that, no room to let herself have doubt and fear. This was her debut match, and Kamen Moon had to prove herself the heroine she wanted the audience to believe she was.

Chewing her lip, Kamen Moon prepared herself for her next pass. With GASTER back on her feet, Moon decided to use her speed and determination to bring the Shadow Lord back down. Chest already heaving as she gasped for air, Kamen Moon ran the ropes. Springing off of them for added momentum, Moon came sprinting back at GASTER with her "good" arm extended, looking to rock the Shadow Lord with a running forearm strike that would, she hoped, show everyone in the arena that the heroine was still here to fight!

GASTER could sense the disappointment on Moon's face, over being unable to get the Shadow Lord to submit right then and there...and the subsequent shake off of that uncertainty, as the girl before her turned from rookie, in to the Lunar Heroine in an instant, as her gaze shifted to one of fearless determination...

The sort of gaze that lit fire in Clara's eyes as well, turning from a simple wrestler back into the Shadow Lord, as she pulled her hand away from the back of her neck, and put both her arms in front of her, ready for battle!

Quickly, Moon would take for the ropes, much to the Shadow Lord's confusion, for a rebound from the ropes! On her way back, GASTER saw Moon's right arm extended, realizing that the heroine was about to attack!

Telegraphing the forearm strike, GASTER would duck underneath, and attempt to slip past Moon to avoid the attack entirely...

...and, trying to turn before Kamen could, she would quickly snap a waistlock onto the girl, attempting to lift her into the air, and slam her quickly into the mat with a German Suplex!

Kamen Moon threw herself at her opponent recklessly, wanting nothing more than to plant the Shadow Lord back down and prove she hadn't lost control of the match. In truth, the young heroine couldn't believe that the Shadow Lord was still standing, and still itching to fight!

Moon was able to cover the distance between them quickly, the ropes propelling her across the ring like an arrow toward GASTER! The crowd's voices rose in anticipation of the conflict sparking up again, and Kamen Moon could feel her heart rise up into her throat as she resolved not to let them down.

Unfortunately, GASTER had other ideas. Beneath her mask, Moon's eyes widened as GASTER sidestepped her, the masked villain ducking around her swinging forearm and sliding right behind her.

"Wh-NO!" Kamen Moon cried out, feeling GASTER's toned arms wrap around her belly. Shocked, Moon put up no resistance as she fell prey to the Shadow Lord's German Suplex, the move planting her shoulders thunderously down on the mat!

"Aaagh!" Moon cried out, the impact rocking her. The poor girl went limp for a moment, legs hanging lifelessly in the air as her shoulders sank into the mat.

GASTER would quickly release Moon after planting the heroine's shoulders to the mat with the move, knowing she wasn't able to win the contest that way...but at the very least, doing good damage to the heroine in the process.

Going for a move like that was risky, the Shadow Lord thought, Moon giving her too many opportunities to counter. She felt Moon's arm was properly worked over at that point, all it would take to make the girl submit would be one more good submission...

...but she needed for the girl to stay down, and not be able to mount any counter offense as she would attempt to lock in her final armbar...and she felt she knew just the combination of moves to do it...

As Moon slumped onto her back, the Shadow Lord would try to climb the nearby turnbuckle...but in her tired state, it was more difficult than she thought. She felt sweat drip from the bottom of her mask, sweat going down her toned body...

Finally reaching the top of the corner, she hoped she didn't mirror her foe's mistake, giving her way too much time to react to her move. But she felt there was no going back now.

Sizing the Lunar Heroine from afar, GASTER would jump from the top rope, stretch her arms and legs wide open, in order to land on top of Moon with her signature Frog Splash!

"Ooooh~" Kamen Moon moaned, as GASTER's arms released her and let her body slump flat to the mat. Everything ached, from her head on down her spine. Moon's arm twitched, her face winced. The masked heroine tried to get back up, but her body simply wouldn't respond to her. The feeling was terrifying, like being trapped without anything holding her down.

Moon remained on her back, chest heaving as she struggled to bring air into her battered body. Moon couldn't help but think she must have looked like the most pathetic heroine on the planet, laid out and vulnerable as she was, feeling tiny in the center of the ring. Kamen Moon had lost track of her opponent for a moment as the Shadow Lord mounted the turnbuckle. Moon managed to open her eyes just in time to see the Shadow Lord coming down on her in a flash!

"AAARGH!" Kamen Moon screamed as the masked villain came crashing down on her with the frog splash. Fans gasped in the crowd, as the lunar heroine was folded in half by the devastating, high-flying move. Moon's arms and legs flopped back down to the mat and she lay there, spread eagle.

Moon's eyes stared up at the arena lights, as tears came flowing freely down her face. The move was a devastating one, rocking her entire body. She sobbed at the pain, the most brutal impact she'd ever taken in her life, let alone in the ring. Kamen Moon's heart almost broke, as she realized something terrifying: if GASTER were to pin her right there, right now, it would likely all be over. The heroine of moon had been rocked hard enough that she couldn't lift her shoulder, couldn't buck GASTER off if she needed to. "Ooww," she whimpered, between sobs, "it hurts ..." Fortunately, this was a submission match. GASTER couldn't pin her for a victory, Moon just had to keep reminding herself of that. She only hoped she would find her strength when the time came, and not be relegated to the fates of all those heroines GASTER told Moon she had destroyed, in the past ...

Usually, after successfully executing one of the few high-risk moves in her arsenal, GASTER would smile underneath her mask. She always loved high-flying moves, and how effortlessly some people pulled them off. Although this wasn't a style she preferred doing (preferring to minimize damage done to her body), a successful Frog Splash filled her with feeling of success...

...but, as she pushed herself off of Kamen Moon, she heard the girl whimper in pain.

And looking at her, noticed tears flowing down her mask from her eyes, dripping onto the canvas.

The Brit froze up for a second, the scene more than familiar to her...though usually, it was her on the recieving end. Trying as she might to topple bigger girls (and at rarer times, guys) in her matches, only to be hit with a combination of 2-3 very powerful moves...and feeling completely helpless, the knowledge that her body was barely responding to what she wanted it to do...and the subsequent pins and tap outs to her stronger opponents back in her native UK, questioning why she wasn't strong or skilled enough to take them down...

And now, the position was switched. She was the one dominating her rival in the Heroine of Moon, and Moon was going through everything the Shadow Lord did when she was starting out as a simple wrestler:

"I am sorry...", she would whisper to her rival, quietly enough so that no one would realize she would breaking character outside of Moon, as she wrapped her arms around the girl's head to get her up to the mat:

"You are a great wrestler...and I am sure you'll have better luck next time...but now....", she continued, as she put tired Moon's head in-between her thighs:

"This is your end!", she finished in a loud voice, making people think that was all she said to the heroine, as she would heave her up onto her shoulders, preparing to execute the move that would keep Kamen down for sure while she locked in her final hold: a Powerbomb!

After her body took the worst of GASTER's frog splash, Kamen Moon lay on the mat in absolute agony. Her belly tensed and tightened as her fingertips twitched and spasmed against the mat, while she whimpered and cried.

"N-nooo ..." Moon said, knowing full well that the Shadow Lord was looming over her helpless body. Beneath her mask, Kamen Moon's tears were flowing freely as she waited for the last moments to come. Her body was battered, she felt half broken, and it seemed inevitable that the young heroine was destined to fail in her first night in the ring.

"Please," Kamen Moon whispered, as she felt Gaster's arms wrap around her head. Then, however, Moon heard something she didn't expect at all: an apology. Moon stopped completely when she heard the words against her ear, totally taken out of the moment with a shadow of remorse from the Shadow Lord. Then, the encouragement. Kamen Moon's body twitched as she got hoisted up, then tucked beneath GASTER's thighs. Moon's limbs still dangled limply around her body as GASTER got her into position, but her mind was racing.

Why was the Shadow Lord being so kind? Especially after bringing the heroine to her breaking point? Kamen Moon was hoisted onto GASTER's shoulders, her head spinning as her ponytail was whipped upward, her body coming to rest on GASTER's shoulders. When she was seated, however, Kamen Moon's tears had stopped.

If she had gotten through to GASTER, even beneath that diabolical mask, maybe Kamen Moon still had something going for her after all! Biting her lip as hard as she could, Kamen Moon tucked her hands between her legs and tried to clasp her hands around GASTER's arm, yanking it between her thighs. With a swift, desperate tuck, Moon scrambled to get her legs wrapped around GASTER's neck, if they would only respond to her commands. The Heroine of Moon would then drop back, cranking on the arm while clenching her legs around the Shadow Lord's neck, trying to see if she could pull GASTER into a triangle choke. A desperate, hail-mary pass that would put GASTER into a hard position ... or fail, one final desperate attempt for the rookie heroine before her body was splattered mercilessly against the mat by her opponent!

With Moon hearing GASTER's apology, the Shadow Lord felt no regret about finishing the match. Not one word of her whisper was dishonest, as she believed that Moon could...and likely, would achieve several accomplishments in LAW. Today, however, she was the superior wrestler.

As she hoisted the Lunar Heroine up on her shoulders, she prepared to drive her hard against the mat for a hard Powerbomb, hoping that the move would leave her unable to counter the Masked Lord's final submission manuever, having no other choice but to tap out!

...if only everything went as she planned.

At the critical moment, right as the Shadow Lord was ready to Powerbomb her foe into the ring canvas, she found her right arm trapped between Moon's legs...and the legs themselves encircling her neck, trapping her bloodflow to her head!

Her strength quickly disappeared, and she couldn't slam Kamen Moon into the mat with full force, resulting in her lightly dropping Moon forward. As a result, Moon had the Triangle Choke fully locked in, reversing the Powerbomb, and trapping GASTER in a powerful and difficult to escape hold!

"Ghhk...ggukk...nnooo...", she grunted, pushing against Moon's legs with her untrapped arm, trying to desperately escape the choke before her power fully escaped her...or worse, before she was completely knocked out!

...but with Moon's solid lock on the hold, the Shadow Lord's hope of winning the match started to dissipate into nothingness...

Once she got her feet hooked and her hands firmly wrapped around GASTER's head, Kamen Moon knew she couldn't dare let go. She'd been beaten within an inch of her life in this match, and her arm was probably going to be utterly useless when the adrenaline wore off. But she had the hold locked in, and if she could just keep it up a short time, she still had a chance to pull off this victory!

"Rrrghh!" Kamen Moon groaned, letting gravity to its work of pulling on her body, adding weight and power to her choke. Moon's heart threatened to pound out of her chest, knowing full well that if she took the full brunt of GASTER's powerbomb to the mat, it was over. There was no coming back from that at this point, not even for a masked heroine. All Moon could do was hold on, and hope for the best ...

"C-can't ... give up!" Moon groaned to herself, as she sank back into the hold and brought the Shadow Lord down to the mat with her. Moon looked over the tangle of limbs to the woman she was fighting, but of course she couldn't see any sign of how she was doing beneath GASTER's fearsome mask.

Moon could feel her nemesis trying to slip free of the hold, and she used the last bit of strength in her body fighting to keep it locked in. She heard GASTER protest, and her eyes widened.

"Come ... come on!" Kamen Moon said, between grunts of effort, "You're defeated, Shadow Lord! Just-rrgh! A-admit defeat! Please!"

Anxiety filled the Shadow Lord's quickly beating heart. The more she pulled on Moon's legs, the more it seemed like her foe tightened them around her...and the more she felt her brain being depraved of fresh oxygen.

Her mind was drawing complete blanks on what to do next. She is so close...so close to making Kamen Moon submit to her might...

But the hold was incredibly tight. She knew of counters of the move...but she was too tired by this point to even attempt to try and pin the Lunar Heroine from her current position...much less attempt to Powerbomb her again.

With Moon's plea to the Villain to tap out of the hold, and with GASTER's sight on both victory...and in reality dimming, the Shadow Lord fully succumbed to the reality of the situation. She could only tap out or pass out, there was no third option.

Choosing not to starve her brain off of oxygen for much longer, she lightly, quietly, with little fanfare, tapped her free hand a few times on her victorious foe's thigh...
