Lauren Fredericks vs. Sakura Ariyama

Lauren groaned as Sakura kicked out, shaking her head. Sakura micked put again but Lauren had enough as she hobbled to her feet, bending down to lift Sakura up again! This time Lauren shouted as she stepped forward to being g Sakura down back first across her knee with a back breaker! Lauren again flopped down on top of Sakura, going for another pin!

Sakura sighed with relief between pants. Alas for the rookie joshi, she didn't get much time to rest as Laruen picked the joshi up. Poor Sakura could do little as she was lifted up in the air and a second later, found her back smashed against Lauren's knee!

'UUUUUGGGHHH!" Sakura cried before she plopped down to the canvas. And unfortunately for her, Lauren followed soon after for a pin!

THUMP!

"One!"

THUMP!

"Two!"

Sakura groaned. She couldn't handle much more of this. But she wasn't going to give up! She wasn't going to lose in her debut match! As the referee's hand was about to hit the canvas for the third and final time, Sakura would attempt to kick out at the last second!

Again Sakura kicked out and a tired, worn out Lauren gasped for breath as she rolled off Sakura, laying flat on her back gasping for air as her sweaty body glistened in the lights. She struggled up to her feet, trying her best to rise and pull Sakura up to her feet. Lauren swayed a bit, but she was intent on ending this right now.

Grabbing hold of Sakura Lauren was in position to lift her off the ground once more unless Sakura somehow managed to counter what Lauren was doing. Lauren knew she had to end this match here and now otherwise she was in big trouble. her stamina... or lack of it... had left her tired, not to mention Sakura's offense did a number on her earlier in the match.

Sakura gave a small groan, feeling elated that she kicked out. She heard Lauren give desperate gasps for air. Sakura knew it was now or never. When Lauren went to pick Sakura up, the joshi let her. As soon as Sakura got on her feet, that's when Sakura would strike by grabbing Lauren's left wrist!

If Sakura succeeded, she would then move behind Lauren, still holding on to the heavyweight's own arm, as Sakura would cross it over Lauren's right shoulder, trapping the blonde's neck against her own large arm!

"RRRRAAAA!" Sakura would roar as she'd attempt to life the gigantic woman up, her back laying across Sakura's shoulders in a torture rack position, with Lauren's arm still wrapped around the giantess's own neck.

"Sakura Driver..." The joshi would began as she'd walk a few steps... before attempting to drop Lauren in front of her, aiming to plant the top of Lauren's head on the canvass! Sakura would also end up in a sit-down position to give the brutal move even more power. "The Final Act!" She'd shout if she completed the Psycho Driver III.

"Wha- no no no no! AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Lauren shouted as she shook her head in disbelief, lift into the air by Sakura after she had pounded on her as hard as she could! Lauren smashed down against the canvas with thunderous impact, howling in pain as she laid seemingly lifelessly after Sakura spiked her down. Lauren stopped moaning or making noise as she could barely see, her consciousness now in question as she laid on the canvas motionless. Lauren was awake but barely knew what was going on, and even if she wanted to move her body jus wasn't responding at all!

Sakura felt time standstill as she was about to spike poor Lauren down. She could hardly believe the match was about to be over... well, hopefully over. Lauren showed she was tough as any vet and could take a lot of abuse.Well there was only one way to find out, as Sakura finished planting Lauren into the canvas!

BOOM!

"OOOOOHHHH!" The crowd shouted.

Lauren lay on the mat, completely still. Sakura didn't waste any time as she crawled over and hooked Lauren's leg in a pin!

Lauren laid there and flopped her arms weakly about underneath Sakura, her free leg limply rising and falling to the mat over and over while she was stuck underneath Sakura! "No.... no..... not to a rookie...." Lauren moaned as the referee slid in to place!

"ONE!"

"TWO!"

Laurens kicks and limb thrashing picked up in intensity as she could hear the cheers of the crowd once again rooting against her. She could hear the bosses all telling her that if she didn't start to deliver her contract could be done because she had no real value to them as any sort of commodity due to her lack of youth, sex appeal, and things like that which younger, more fit, prettier women could also offer to expand LAW.

"THREE!"

And there it was, another loss for Lauren. She brought her hands up to cover her face as she rolled to her side then her stomach. The crowd cheered loudly for Sakura's victory as Lauren again laid in defeat hiding her face in embarrassment yet again.

Sakura held her breath as the referee went prone. Excitement welled up in her as the referee went prone and began the count.

The joshi’s heart pumped faster as the referee slapped the canvas once. Time slowed as the hand rose…

…Before coming down a second time. Excitement and skepticism battled inside of Sakura as the referee’s hand rose once more. Lauren took a lot of abuse in the match, but every time Sakura thought she had the heavyweight beat, the blonde would kick out! Didn’t help that she’d batter the energetic joshi when she got up.

Time then curbed to a crawl as the referee’s hand descended down once more. Nervousness and exhilaration rose in her once more until…

The referee slapped the mat a final time and called for the bell!

”YES!” Sakura cried, letting go of the leg and pumped her fist! She did it, she won her first match! Elation turned into weariness as the adrenaline wore off and dull pain returned. ”Urk… this is like the first day at the dojo all over again,” Sakura muttered as she stood up, which took her some work while “Break Out Of…” played.

Sakura took a look down at Lauren and frowned. The older woman was covering her face. As though hiding her shame. But she had nothing to be ashamed off! Lauren showed she was one hell of a fighter and if the blonde didn’t know that, then darn it, Sakura was going to!

”That was one hell of match!” Sakura said as she offered her former foe a hand. ”Thank you for giving me an amazing debut and for teaching some-“ Sakura grunted as a twinge of pain in her… well, everything. ”-Urgh! Painful lessons,” The joshi finished sheepishly.

Lauren knew it wasn't Sakura's fault that Lauren struggled in the ring and had her job on the line. The bosses seeing her only as an undercard wrestler with limited appeal coupled with her own failure to be the one standing when the bell rang was the reason she was in her current position. When Sakura offered her a hand up she took it but still wished she could keep her head down for a bit. "Well you won, so I think you were the one doing the teaching." Lauren said with a sheepish smile. The crowd was still cheering on the young hometown heroine in Sakura and Lauren nodded to her. "You did great and won your first match here so congrats!" She said before backing away. "The spotlight is yours, you earned it." She said before making her way to the ropes trying to walk somewhat normally even though her whole body was hurting as she began to slink her way back up the ramp towards the back.

Sakura gave a small grin as Lauren praised her. To hear a veteran say that about her... that was almost as good as winning the match. Almost being the operative word.

"Hey! Let's have a rematch sometime!" Sakura sincerely called after Lauren. With that she then turned to the crowd, pumping her fists up in the air in victory before bowing to the crowd, thanking them for their support and even shaking the confused referee's hand before exiting to the back.

And so, the legend of Sakura Ariyama had begun!
