Emelia Hjaal (D) vs Nandi Zuma

Emelia's eyes followed the referee's hand as she prepared for the final count. This was it, the rookie wrestler could win her first match right here! A breathless smile crossed her face as she waiting for the final count.

Distracted by thoughts of her impending victory, however, she failed to notice that the African Queen had been biding her time, waiting to break free. Suddenly Nandi's leg was pulled from her grasp and the other wrestler shoved her shoulder up off the mat too quickly for Emelia to react.

"Wha-NO!" she exclaimed, but Nandi wasn't finished. She pushed hard, and Emelia could do nothing as she was thrown off her opponent. She hit the mat and rolled a couple of times before stopping, lying on her front. With a groan of dismay Emelia pushed herself up onto her hands and knees, exhausted and now vulnerable to the African Queen's counter attack.

Nandi would keep her eyes on the referee as she watched her hand descend for the final count as she would push forward with all her strength. This would result in her throwing Emelia off her as the African Queen would get her shoulder up as the referee got to her feet , and showed two fingers showing it was only an two count.

The sound of her opponent's shout of shock and disappointed caused her to smile as she would sit up , and then get onto her knees as she would from their rise to her feet.At the same time Emelia was doing the same as she saw the other wrestler was on her hands and knees , and seemed as exhausted as she was at the moment.

Emelia looked up from her position on her hands and knees to see that Nandi had managed to get to her feet, and dismay filled the rookie wrestler. She'd been so close to a pin, and a win, but the African Queen had kicked out.

Breathing heavily, Emelia struggled unsteadily to her feet. Although her knees were wobbly and she was totally exhausted, she couldn't give up. She staggered towards Nandi, raising her arms to attempt to lock into another grapple with her opponent. Her move was slow though and would have been easily countered if the African Queen had the energy to do so!

Both wrestlers were breathing heavy at the moment as Nandi would struggle towards her opponent. Not as much as Emelia it seemed , but the queen of Africa did not know it she was faking it or not at the moment. So she would be careful for now as she would entwine her hands with the other wrestler as she began to try to force the other wrestler down onto her knees if possible.

Emelia accepted the grip of the African Queen, breathing heavily and feeling terribly weakened from the match. Nonetheless, she couldn't back down now, and she attempted to push back against her opponent in the test of strength.

Unfortunately for Emelia, she didn't have the endurance left to challenge Nandi in such a way. It didn't take long before the rookie wrestler's arms started to shake and her legs wobbled. With a gasp of dismay, Emelia collapsed to her knees again in front of the African Queen, completely overpowered. She screwed her eyes shut, trying feebly to push back up against her opponent but it was no use.

"No..." she moaned helplessly.

Nandi would be able to force her opponent onto her knees as she would hear the other wrestler say ''no'' as she looked so helpless. Now normally the queen of Africa would have said something encouraging , but she knew that the match was still to close as she would try to release Emelia's hands as she wanted to try and finish it.

As with the other wrestler on her knees she did have to force her opponent to stand up , but once she had pulled the other wrestler to her feet would force her to bend forward. As this would allow the queen of Africa to wrap her arms around her opponent's waist as she would lift her up , and place Emelia onto her shoulders as she would go for an Final Drop.

Emelia felt the African Queen release her from the test of strength, but she remained on her knees, breathing heavily, totally exhausted. Then Nandi pulled her to her feet and before Emelia could react, she found herself bent forward. "What...?"

Then Nandi's strong arms wrapped around Emelia's waist. The rookie wrestler let out a yelp of panic as Nandi hoisted her up into the air, Emelia's legs over Nandi's shoulders, in a precarious position! Her arms flailed for a moment as she realised what was about to happen, but she was helpless to stop it. A moment later Nandi completed her Final Drop finisher, bombing the unfortunate rookie onto the mat with massive force.

Emelia cried out once as she hit the mat, the impact sending pain up and down her body and she slumped limp on the canvas, arms flung past her head and legs spread out, eyes half shut as she lay dazed and out of the fight...

Nandi had manage to lift her opponent up onto her shoulders as she took an deep breath before slamming the other wrestler down onto her back. Taking an second to catch her breath she would quickly drop down onto her knees as she would grasp onto Emelia's legs as she would not see how dazed her opponent was as she turned her body so her back was pressed against the debuting wrestler's stomach.

With her opponent pinned down the referee would get down onto her knees as she checked if Emelia's shoulders were down against the mat. It only took an second for the ref to see the other wrestler's shoulders were indeed down against the canvas as she raised her hand before bringing it down onto the mat as she said ''One''.

Emelia felt Nandi's body press down over her, pinning her shoulders hard against the mat. She let out a weak groan of protest, but her body was aching far to much for her to do anything to counter it. Her muscles wouldn't respond and she lay with the creeping inevitability of the count.

"One."

"Two."

She heard the words and the referee's hand hitting the mat. Oh no... the despairing realization hit her that she was about to lose the match and was powerless to stop it. Emelia's head rolled weakly from side to side, as though trying to deny the reality of what was happening. But she couldn't stop that last dreaded count from falling.

The referee would continue to count as after the first count she would watch as the ref's hand went up into the air for an second time. Then like before it would connect with the match as the ref would say ''two'' , and then repeat the same motion. All the while the queen of Africa was expecting her opponent to find the strength to kick out as Emelia had surprised her more then once during the match.

Still it seemed that the other wrestler was out of surprises as the referee's hand was up in the air for the third time , and would begin to descend down onto the canvas. When the ref's hand touched the canvas , and she heard her say ''THREE'' the dark skinned wrestler knew for certain she had won as she would release her opponent's leg after this.
