Marzia Servelli vs. Chigusa Yuuki

Marzia had been pushed around by Chigusa's efforts throughout the match, taking hold after hold and strike after strike. But now, she was starting to take back the momentum. She could do it, she told herself! It was working! She had Chigusa where she wanted her, and the purple-haired woman wasn't getting loose. A smile started to creep across Marzia's face, as she found a new sense of encouragement come over her. Maybe, if this could happen, she had a chance. It wasn't the most flashy of holds, but it did what she wanted it to - so she was going to hold it in!

Chigusa was starting to lose her bearing from the hold, though her mind didn't stop racing for a way to escape this. Desperate for an escape, Chigusa had to resort to something much rougher, and what else she could do but smash her way out for an escape? With Marzia under her, she would try to hit her at her side several times, hoping that the smashes would be able to rattle the Italian wrestler, which she hoped would make her loosen the hold, allowing her to shake herself free from this. Still, even if she managed to escape, she would sustain enough damages that prevented her from doing any sort of counter or a way to attack her opponent.

Marzia could feel Chigusa growing weaker under her, and her heart raced with anticipation. Obviously, she was doing something right. She just needed to do a little bit more...but she was getting there! If she just hung in there, maybe this would prove enough to take her opponent out.

Of course, it wasn't that simple. Marzia would soon learn not to get too cocky, when Chigusa landed a blow on her side, causing her to groan. The first hit wasn't bad, but as Chigusa kept coming, the effect started to build up, and Marzia was getting sore. Eventually, she had no choice but to ease her grip, enough for her opponent to pull free and roll out of her grasp.

As Chigusa escaped, Marzia rolled up onto her hands and knees, catching her breath and giving her a chance to rest. She looked across from her, and there she saw Chigusa, still lying stunned. It turned out better for Marzia than she had thought, as the girl's efforts had weakened Chigusa enough to buy her some time! She knew this opportunity wasn't any to scoff at, so Mariza quickly pushed herself up from the ground, using a burst of energy to run over to Chigusa's side and go for a pin attempt. It'd get back at her for last time, and hopefully Chigusa was weary enough for it to work!

Despite escaping the hold, Chigusa was weakened enough that she couldn't muster enough strength to pick herself up. She was on the mat, panting and wheezing, her cheeks flushing due to being trapped in the hold earlier. Seeing this, Marzia took this opportunity to go for a pinfall attempt as Chigusa was then pinned down by the Italian girl, and the referee started counting for the pin next to them.

"ONE!"

"TWO!"

But right before three, Chigusa would regain her life as she would then kick out both her legs, breaking the pin. Letting out a labored huff, she would try to push Marzia away from her, giving herself some room to recover. Hopefully, she could recover fast enough before Marzia could go for another attack.

Getting on top of Chigusa to attempt a pin, Marzia felt two things: she was pleased that she could pull this off, and from the looks of it Chigusa was staying down long enough. That made Marzia feel confident, like her efforts were paying off. It was working! If she kept this up, the rookie thought, she wouldn't have much to worry about. More to the point, however, Marzia could take this time to catch her breath and regain her strength as she held Chigusa down, taking a much-needed opportunity to collect herself.

And it might have been well in her best interests to do so, too, as Chigusa kicked out of the pin just when Marzia thought she had her. Panting, Marzia rolled back from Chigusa as she was pushed off, backing away from her on her hands and knees. She narrowed her eyes, fixing her gaze across her on her opponent. It was clear that the match was wearing down on both women, and how much energy they still had in them was anyone's guess.

Right after kicking out of the pinfall attempt and pushing Marzia off of her, Chigusa grunted as she would roll over onto her side before she got herself onto her knees, shaking her head as she tried to recover from her winded state. She had taken some solid hits from her opponent, and she had to be careful, or else she might end up losing against her Italian opponent.

Chigusa glanced at Marzia, who had distanced herself from her, and she took this opportunity to get herself back up on her feet. Even so, due to her still recovering from all the damages that she had taken, the former Wrestle Angel didn't immediately go for an attack, still reeling from earlier. Still, she would keep her eyes on Marzia, making sure that her opponent wouldn't escape her sight as she would start formulating her plan in her head.

Marzia shook her head, trying to shake the cobwebs out of her mind. She had to keep herself in this; to fall behind her opponent would just be inviting defeat. She knew that both of them were nearing their limits, and anything could happen now. If Marzia pushed her luck, she might be able to win this - but on the other hand, if Chigusa got to her senses first, it might all be over.

Taking in a breath as she cleared the hair out of her eyes, Marzia fixed her eyes on Chigusa. She watched the former Wrestle Angel rise to her feet, and so too did she soon follow suit, clenching her fist. Marzia was panting hard, and her legs were wobbling - but she saw that Chigusa wasn't doing anything. Even if Marzia had to fight the soreness in her body, she would do it! She wasn't going to let this opportunity slip by, as she ran in suddenly to go for a clothesline, putting all the force she could draw upon into it.

As soon as Chigusa got herself back up on her feet, she realized that she was even more winded than she realized, and she took a few seconds trying to get rid of the headache, thus exposing herself to whatever Marzia would try to do next. And it seemed that her Italian opponent had decided to rush in towards her, extending out her arm to hit her with a clothesline.

"Uuughh!!"

Chigusa grunted as she took the clothesline into her chest. Normally, she could avoid this kind of move, but due to her needing to recover, she was unable to do so and was taken down by the attack. She tumbled backwards before hitting the mat, and her brow creased into a scowl as she brought her hands to her chest, trying to nurse the pain from the attack that just hit her.

Marzia charged forward and slammed into Chigusa, and once again the purple-haired girl was downed. As Chigusa hit the mat, Marzia stood above her. The girl needed a brief moment to catch her breath, and she stood over her opponent panting as she tried to bring herself down from the adrenaline rush that had just hit her. Yes, Chigusa was down, she told herself. She had really done that. Now, it was time for her to act on that.

Marzia got down, lying next to the prone Chigusa, and draped her legs over her chest. Then she took her by the wrist and pulled back on it, wrenching the appendage in between her legs as she held on tight, biting her lip and concentrating hard to put in as much pressure as she could. Thus, she would apply an armbar!

Winded after taking the clothesline from Marzia, Chigusa was on the mat, gasping in pain as she was trying to push herself back. But Marzia was quicker to take advantage of her downed state as she got down and draped her legs over her chest before she grabbed her by her wrist, putting it between her legs before she subjected Chigusa to a painful armbar!

"Aaaghh!!" Chigusa cried out in pain as pain started to build up in her arm. She closed her eyes as she tried to endure the pain, but at the moment, she was in a very precarious position. The pressure was starting to get really intense, and she could only hope that she could come up with a way to escape this predicament. Then again, Chigusa had endured far worse than this, so she knew that she could soldier through this hold. "Ngghhhh!!"
