Re: Blair Yuen vs. Lunar Crescent - Last Woman Standing Match

It was ironic, really. The whole time, Blair had been underestimating Lunar, expecting the blue-haired girl to lack the sort of training and discipline she had honed as a Muay Thai practitioner, and thinking this would be an easy match. When Lunar proved to be stronger than Blair had given her credit for, it only frustrated her more and more - which had led to her efforts dwindling bit by bit over the course of the match. But now, it was at the point where Blair had gone down so often, Lunar was left doubting her abilities. It was her turn to let down her guard.

Had Blair been fighting at full capacity, with the sort of precision and care she normally specialized in, she would see the perfect opportunity to strike. However, there was no time for that. Now, Blair had been consumed only by rage - she wanted nothing more than to make Lunar hurt, and to prove once and for all that she was no pushover. And, when it came down to that, she could still hit pretty hard!

With Blair charging into range, the two girls drew back their fists and struck one after the other. The difference was that Blair's punch missed just short of the mark thanks to Lunar slipping to the side - while Lunar fired back a counter of her own, one that Blair, in her agitated and tunnel-visioned state, couldn't defend herself against! The blow caught her upside the jaw, causing her head to crack backward as she let out a groan and stumbled back away from Lunar.

Blair was desperate now. She couldn't go down - to do that would be to deny everything she held herself to be. She sucked in a breath, panting through clenched teeth. Her knees knocked together, but still she dug her heels into the mat to stabilize herself in place. With another huff, Blair lifted her head, locking eyes on her foe.

That punch hadn't been as strong as the last - Blair could tell that, having not been thrown to the mat as she had with the last few blows she'd taken. That meant that she still had a chance! Things were rough at first, but now she was able to turn them around! Ducking down and throwing herself forward, Blair let out an uncharacteristically vigorous battle cry as she swung a fist again, this time aimed at Lunar's stomach!

For the most part, Blair is right about lunar since she does lack both training and discipline, what lunar has is experience. She have been fighting for her life ever since elementary school for the better or worse, so all of her experience is all she need for anything that come for her way

Sadly this is not one of them. While lunar is very experience in a fight, all of her fight is relatively short, and often time she does not need her full power kick to win the battle. This match is taking longer than what she ever experience. Combine this with Blair keep coming back even after a beating would have reveal lunar biggest weakness stamina

Lunar would have been surprise that she unable to knock blair down in one punch like before, lunar would have stand there in shock as her opponent charge straight at her to deliver a impressive uppercut straight toward her stomach...and lunar has both no where and no time to dodge her attack

Lunar would have let out a cry of pain as the uppercut landed perfectly and the impact of which would have almost manage to lift her off her feet, as when blair pulled her hand back. Lunar would have quickly double over and ganging from the impact of her punch as she tried to quickly stumble forward to clinch against blair to try to do her best to stop her offense since lunar need to hold on into blair to even remain standing as her leg is threatening to give up at any moment. Lunar need a break desperately and to do that she need to slow down blair once more but deep down she fear that this not even nearly enough to slow her opponent down

While Lunar was running out of steam, Blair's determination was firmed up even further, tempered by desperation and the desire to win if only to leave this arena with her reputation intact. She was a proud woman, and she was not one to entertain anything that tested that pride she had in herself. Getting knocked down, time and time again, by a self-proclaimed hentai fighter, and not even being able to get a solid shot in edgewise, was an insult to her, more grave than any physical damage Lunar could possibly unleash. Blair wouldn't stand for that - and, as adrenaline took hold, she swore that it wouldn't stop her now!

She dug her heels into the mat, rooting herself in place as she secured her stance. Then, she charged ahead, her fist drawn back and landing an uppercut that sent the blue-haired girl reeling! A few cheers broke out at the sight of Blair's fist making impact, taking back the momentum for herself with a blow that, to her fans, had been a long time coming. But the Muay Thai fighter didn't hear them. She was focused entirely on this moment, and she wouldn't allow for anything to turn her attention away!

Now, she had Lunar under her control, more than ever before in this match holding the advantage. She knew, as Lunar fell forward and the two joined in a clinch, hands gong for one another's shoulders, that she had an asset on her side that she wouldn't dare waste. Now, Lunar was in range, and her guard was down. It was the perfect time to strike! With one swift motion, Blair kicked her leg up from the ground, bent at the knee to drive a strike right into Lunar's stomach. If that hit, she would follow up with a few more in quick succession, not even letting her foot touch the ground in between blows - she needed Lunar hurt, and she couldn't give her even the slightest window to get away!

Lunar is running out of steam rather quicker than normal. Normally she would have given up the match already, normally she would have been laying on the ground waiting for the count to reach 10 since there are no point in fighting back since her opponent get their rythme back. Sadly or fortunately depending on who you ask, this moment in anything but normal for her

Lunar would have stumble from the impact of the uppercut from her opponent as it would have make lunar clinch against blair, taking heavy breath near blair ears while her arm desperately holding on into her opponent to try to recover and not fall down due to the fact that her leg could give out at any moment.

Sadly, Blair doesn't give her time to breath as she would have send knee after knee toward her stomach. It that would have left lunar to let out a cry of pain each time as the knee would have left her gagging and all the air that she breath would have been force out of her. Lunar tried to stubbornly keep a hold of clinch, not knowing why she keep herself stubborn when she could just feel down to take a couple of second to rest up. Her defiant however would not last, as lunar leg would give out suddenly after what it felt like a thousand of knee, lunar would have feel down to her knee as her arm that is on blair shoulder would have slip off from the suddenly downward motion as lunar head would have feel down to land on blair stomach, earning Blair her first knock down in the entire match as the count started

Everything seemed to flow naturally, one movement setting up the next. Blair was practically moving on instinct. As Lunar leaned forward, she caught her by the shoulders, setting up a clinch from which she could slam a knee against the blue-haired girl's gut. And, after that, another, and another. Blair's brow furrowed in concentration, her eyes narrowing as she clenched her teeth and her fingers coiled tighter around her opponent's shoulders. The tension was rising in her, but it was only motivating her to fight even harder. Lunar didn't just want to beat Blair. She wanted to humiliate her and tear her down - and the Muay Thai fighter's pride was too great for that.

She felt Lunar fall before she saw it - her weight drawing back, and her arm slipping away from her shoulders. Then, the girl's balance gave out, and she slumped to the floor, her forehead pressing against her opponent's toned abdomen. As her breaths quickened, Blair's fists clenched tighter at her sides, and she began to draw back a fist. She couldn't stop now. She had so much more to say. Lunar had to be paid back, blow for blow, for all the trouble she'd caused.

But before Blair could strike, she heard the count of the referee - the voice cutting through the air and shaking her down from the heat of the moment. Her muscles eased, and with an exhale, she took a step back, letting Lunar fall forward without her weight to support her. Blair panted a few times, shaking sweat from her arm. She just needed to wait, now - much as she wanted to keep up the assault, this wasn't the time for it.

"Three! Four!"

Lunar would have been in the state of shock when she first fell to her knee, she is incomplete disbelieve that she go down because of someone unwillingly...in her entire life nobody have ever go to her knee in a straight up fist fight...she always be the one who remain standing no matter the odds...her belief is suddenly shatter into a milion pieces, and she does not now how to react and feel about all of this

As Blair take a step back, lunar was about to fell down to the mat face first as she would have stop the fall using both of her hand as she cough repeatedly from the aftermath of Blair knee...this is painful,...she is tired,....and her opponent is annoying as hell....just why she still wanted to continue being here for as long as posible

"Five!"

Lunar hearing the count raising up again would have try to snap out of her thought as she would have stand back up as she try to take a deep breath to calm herself down as she would have raise both of her hand up seemingly ready to fight against her opponent once more but anyone that pay close attention would know that lunar for some reason does not put her focus in the match currently it almost as if her thought lie else where

As the adrenaline died down and the soreness set in, Blair leaned in a little bit forward, bending at the knee to rest her elbow on it and carry the weight on her back. She was still angry, and she still wanted nothing more than to pound her opponent into dust. After all the time she had spent mocking and belittling her, Blair knew Lunar deserved far more than what she'd gotten off with. But the match wouldn't be over until the ten-count was made, she reminded herself. For now, she could only stop to catch her breath, and her chest began to rise and fall with hoarse gasps as the strain she'd put herself through caught up to her. Still, she couldn't stop now. She wasn't done.

Neither was Lunar, for that matter. As the five-count came, the blue-haired girl returned to her feet, and Blair, too, lifted her head to lock eyes with her, even as her shoulders rose and fell with each gasp she took. Slowly and laboriously, still shaking off the aches and pains, Blair straightened her back, guiding her way back up to her feet. But then, when she looked back at Lunar, a change came over her. Rather than the calm, calculating tactician Blair had always been, now she was a woman driven by rage, and the desire to set things right.

She let out a scream, one that gave pause to many of the fans not just for its vigor but for the fact it was Blair who was doing it. Then, she came charging forward, her fist drawn back and poised to strike. She ran as fast as she could to close in on Lunar, where she would ring out with a punch thrown straight at her face. This wasn't a match any more, for her - this was an all-out war.

Lunar would have take a deep breath to calm herself down as she could still felt the intense pain from her toned abdoment from the intense knee barrage that she just received from her opponent...lunar would have still in the state of shock from the fact that she took a knee in the first place as lunar would have snap out if when she heard blair scream as lunar watch her rush straight at her

Lunar would have instinctively bring up both of her arm to prepare to guard, she plan to block the blow and get her opponent into a submission hold, she could seal her win like that, there no need for this to be a sl-...lunar would have come to a sudden realization "what an absolute moron" lunar mumble as she would have lower her guard letting herself be open for an attack from the incoming blair

That is exactly what would have happen as blair would have landed her punch straight at lunar face as the resulting impact would cause her head to snap. It would have seem that lunar would have almost fall for the second time in this match, but before she lost her balance completely she would have dig her heels to the mat to prevent her from falling...lunar would have stood her ground against blair punch as she would have let out a glare toward her opponent

This opponent of hers...is entering her territory, she facing her head on in a striking battle...if she run away now and win with submission, she will basically admit defeat against this foe of hers...she hated that she even consider that so..lunar is going to face blair head on, strike against strike, no more holding back, no more.

With this in mind lunar would have move forward to grab a hold into blair shoulder, before sending a knee strike straight toward her opponent stomach. If her knee landed, lunar would have draw her head back before sending her head straight toward Blair face for a headbutt. For the first time in a very long time since she is kid, her head is cleared and she only has one goal...to destroy her opponent in front of her and noting else

In that instant, Blair had closed the distance, and her fist, drawn back and ready to strike, had been the first to jump the gap. Lunar barely had any time to react, and with the sound of a crack ringing out through the arena, Blair watched as the blue-haired girl's head snapped to the side. She began to fall backward, and Blair lowered her fists at her sides. Her chest rose and fell with labored pants, and sweat ran down her body. She had pushed her body to its limits in making the charge, running on adrenaline alone, and she didn't know how much more she had left in her. But at least now, Lunar was going down again.

But then, to Blair's surprise...Lunar didn't go down. Instead, she dug her heels against the mat, looking up to meet the Muay Thai fighter eye to eye. Blair's eyes widened and she took in a gasp. "H-How..?!" she muttered. An attack of such force should have been enough to take Lunar off her feet, she thought - and yet it hadn't done the trick! Just how tough was Lunar?

In that moment, in stopping to ponder this turn of events, Blair had made her biggest mistake - and her fate was sealed. Now, Lunar had been presented with an opening, and it wasn't one she would pass up! She grabbed onto Blair's shoulder, pulling herself forward and kneeing Blair in the gut. It landed like a hammer blow against her taut abdomen, knocking the Canadian backward as she doubled over in pain - and then, Lunar followed that up with a hard smack of her skull into Blair's own!

The resulting thud caused a few fans in the crowd to wince. Blair's head flew backward in an arc, and her arms were whipped up into the air. Her balance slipped out from under her, and she dropped like a lead weight, falling limp to the mat and landing spread-eagled at Lunar's feet!

Re: Blair Yuen vs. Lunar Crescent - Last Woman Standing Match

Lunar head would have keep ringing from the impact that Blair dealt with her fist, in the next day lunar will probably consider herself as a idiot for taking that kind of punch head on. However, that kind of frustrating, future lunar will deal with them, all she can think about is the now so she could beat up this person in front of her

So she would have push through them pain as she grab a hold into Blair shoulder before driving her knee straight toward her abdomen hard that would have send her opponent reeling. Lunar fully intended to not give her opponent any break would have followed it up by striking Blair skull with her own

The resulting impact would have been enough to send Blair back resulting in another knock down for her. This however does not satisfied lunar at the very least…she rarely if ever get to go all out, she want this to last as long as she possible can “stand” lunar would have stated toward her down opponent so she could continue on fighting. Lunar presence is completely different from her first appearance during this match as before she is playful and light hearted but the lunar that currently standing in the ring is seem cold and filled with bloodlust and her voices become monotonous “or you that weak so you are unable to raise up again?” Lunar continued hoping that it would trigger something in her opponent so the fight can keep on going

”One!Two!Three!”
