The Ballad of the Magician & Phantom: Anastasia Bockworth vs. Ayumi Sato

"Agh! D-damn you!" Ayumi cursed out, as she barley had time to recover from the previous blow to her chest before she felt this wannbe hero drag her arm behind her back as she was pulled to the center of the ring and given a painful hammerlock submission!

Ayumi struggled as she used her free hand to try and reach for the ropes, futile gesture as it was as she weakly whined and tried to grasp it only to catch air. Not helped by the diss this Anastasia seemed to toss her.

"A-as if you cosplay cu...aggg!" Ayumi cried her reply cut off with a curse.

Anastasia manoeuvred her foe away from the ropes, doing her best to force Ayumi to walk where she wanted, ignoring the Magician's complaints as she tried to exact more pain on her. However, while she seemed to have the upper hand, the Phantomess wasn't making a lot headway in actually forcing a submission from her foe.

"Hmph, as you wish!" she huffed in frustration, attempting to shove Ayumi forward out of the hammerlock and towards the ropes. Trying to bounce her foe off the ropes, Anastasia would try to meet Ayumi with a simple kick to the stomach to set her up for more powerful moves to follow!

Needless to say the pain of the submission hold combined with the fact this stupid cosplaying fool was getting a leg up over her had only caused Ayumi to be a grouch as the magician as she struggled to free herself before being shoved to the ropes!

"Waaa!" Ayumi cried as she bounced off the ropes to Anastasia, however, on reflex she raised her own leg on the rebound which set it up so both girls would be getting a kick from the other in a desperate (And certainly not planned) counter!

Anastasia smiled to herself as she sent Ayumi bouncing off the ropes. This was what she sought in LAW - to bring the heels down and show them the error of their ways. She could feel the crowd finally beginning to get behind her, cheering the heroine on to greater heights, even if her current opponent was hardly the biggest threat in LAW. She had to start somewhere.

As the magician came back towards her she attempted a kick to the woman's stomach. What she had not expected, however, was Ayumi to replicate the same move identically, resulting in both wrestlers delivering thumping blows to each other's midsections!

"OOOOFF!" the Phantomess cried out in surprise as Ayumi's boot in turn thumped into her abs. Not tensed for any kind of impact, Anastasia took the full force, doubling over as her breath was knocked out of her. She doubled over, eyes wide having not expected her bumbling foe to achieve any meaningful offence in this match.

Still hoping not to lose her momentum, Anastasia stumbled forward, attempting a clumsy lock up with her opponent. She hoped that Ayumi would still be off balance enough to stop the magician from getting a foothold back in this match.

The desperation kick seemed to connect, which helped with Ayumi's current situation as the "heroine" doubled over and stumbled on her feet. However, the sudden stop in momentum on top of the kick caused spit to fly as Ayumi coughed out and struggled to remain upright.

Ayumi stumbled a bit as she seemed to struggle, stumbling forward as she ended up "locking up" with Anastasia, but it was far from an intentional one on Ayumi's side and what happened next seemed to confirm just as much.

Ayumi seemed to trip over her own feet, struggling to comprehend that as she tried to get her breathing settled though this caused her to fall to the side and with her arms locked up with Anastasia, her full body weight seemed to unintentionally pull at the Phantom.

Seemed Ayumi was set to fall on the canvas, and if the momentum could not be countered by Anastasia, she may end up going for that little "ride" with her.

Anastasia surged forward and crashed into her equally unsteady opponent as Ayumi lurched into her. The two reeling wrestlers clashed in an almost comedic manner, jostling and stumbling before Ayumi seemed to lose her balance completely.

Caught off guard and off balance, Anastasia didn't react in time to break the lock up, and sure enough as her foe toppled, the purple clad heroine was dragged down with her. The two wrestlers hit the canvas in a jumble of limbs and Anastasia gasped as her ribs took the brunt of the fall, knocking the wind from her momentarily as she lay in front of Ayumi...

Ayumi had not been doing much better, as she landed right on her chest when the two more or less tumbled into each other in the least dignified double down just about anyone watching had seen.

Still, Ayumi groaned as she tried to recover first. The least she could do to safe face was to get to her feet as her hands almost drunkenly reached for the nearest ropes and she tried to pull herself up back to her feet; determination and well embarrassment fueled this attempt to stand.

Embarrassment clawed at Anastasia as she and Ayumi lay in a tangled, undignified heap on the canvas with the jeering of the fans raining down on them. It was evident that this 'Magician' had no real skill in the ring, and yet the Phantomess was having great difficulty matching her!

Still trying to get her breath back, she heard Ayumi's groan as the other woman began to pick herself up, grabbing the ropes and rising faster than Anastasia's breathless body could match. In desperation, the purple clad defender of the ring tried to follow suit, struggling to her hands and knees and crawling away from her foe, hoping to gain some distance before the Magician managed to fully right herself.

The jeers of the crowd had worked to tick Ayumi off, how dare they boo her! These clowns would probably trip over their own shoes than last a second in the ring with real athletes. "Oh bite me all of you!"

Course this almost distracted her as this "Phantom" began to crawl away to get distance on her which Ayumi could not afford to happen. "H-hey get back you coward!" Ayumi cursed as she moved after her and tried to grab her boot to prevent her from slipping away from her.

Anastasia tried to take advantage of Ayumi's indignant interaction with the fans to get out of reach of her foe and recover, and try to figure out why she was struggling so against this woman! However, she had time to do neither. Before she could get any meaningful distance away she heard the shout from her foe. Her eyes widened behind her mask but it was too late.

"AGH!" Anastasia yelped as her boot was snatched by Ayumi, the Magician tugging her back to prevent her undignified retreat. She wriggled and squirmed, trying to kick herself loose as she floundered around on the canvas, the jeers of the fans raining down on the bumbling pair as the match stuttered along!
