Korra vs Nayla - To test one’s power

The headbutt was the culmination of her combo attack. A relentless assault against her opponent in a moment that they were vulnerable. Korra let her go once they connected her own head hurt like hell but unlike Nayla who seemed to be in serious trouble Korra was still able to stay on her feet, though her hands were covering her face. When she finally pulled away a big cut could be seen on her head. Her headbutt had done the damage but she didn’t walk away unscatched. There was no way you could do something like that to Nayla and not end up hurt yourself before she turned to the women on the mat. Wiping blood off her hands she looked at the ref. “Get her up. Don’t tell me she’s done...Tell her to get up.” Korra said groggily but with a sense of hunger there. Hunger for pain or hunger for a fight one couldn’t tell, only Korra could know.

Nayla was taken down by the headbutt, and it felt like she was knocked out by it, from the look of it. Korra demanded to the referee to tell the Lebanese to get up, and she went to check on her condition. Nayla let out a groan, indicating that she was still conscious, though only barely. It felt like her brain had been scrambled and rearranged violently, and her entire body hurt thanks to all those attacks that she took from her opponent. It was clear now that Korra was a very violent fighter, and Nayla needed to rethink her strategy if she ever wanted to win in this match.

Unfortunately for the Lebanese, Nayla still wasn't in any shape to get up quickly as she could only manage roll herself to her side. She panted, blood dripping from her nostrils. She could feel that her forehead was bleeding as well thanks to the headbutt earlier. She tried blinking to get her vision cleared up, but at the moment, there was nothing she could do but remain on the mat, slowly recovering from the damages that she had taken from her violent opponent.

Nayla wasn’t getting up, and Korra’s adrenaline was running. She couldn’t just wait for her to get up, not while she was this eager for a second go. Korra was trying get things going while she was having fun but Nayla chose this moment of all them to have a rest. They were both hurt and probably both bleeding, in this desperate moment was how they decide who was predator and who was prey. Korra would bring her foot up and stomp down on Nayla’s body. “I told you...to get up!” Korra would turn grab Nayla’s hair and would try to pull her up enough that Korra would try to bring her knee into Nayla’s face! “This fight is getting intense! We’re hurt, we’re tired! We’re excited! How can you waste it lying on the ground? Hurry and get up! Before the moment is ruined!”

As Nayla recovered from all those violent attacks, Korra decided to stomp down on her body, and she shrieked in pain as she was struck. "AARGH!!" Then, she was forcefully pulled up by her opponent before a knee was brought to her face, and this time, she could feel something broke. It was so audible that even the audience at the front flinched upon hearing it.

"MMRPGHH!!"

It was her nose that was broken, and she could feel the crack. The pain was so unbearable that she might have passed out for a moment. Blood continued dribbling down from her nostrils, and it was hard for her to focus on her recovery. Still, she would not give up just yet as she would try to throw a fist into her opponent's abs.

Something snapped. Korra felt it, the crowd close enough felt it, the ref felt it and went wide eyed wondering if she should stop the match. Korra’s smile just continued, she hadn’t intended on breaking anything there, she just wanted to get her to get up, but when her own blood was spilling and she was on a rush like this, not even she knew how hard she was really hitting. And she didn’t care either, she would go towards Nayla again when the women suddenly threw a punch to her belly. Catching her as she moved in. “Ogh-ohohohooo. Good...” Her abs gave way partially, not being tightened up but there was still a padded wall there and either way the pain while obvious by the way Korra folded up and showed no signs that she just shrugged off the blow, it didn’t stop her smile from returning despite it. She returned quickly enough trying to throw a punch of her own into Nayla’s abs. Then she would keep going and working to hit her belly again trying to beat the women down. “Good idea! We’ve already busted up each other’s faces...let’s move on to something else!”

After driving her fist into Korra's abs, Nayla took the same attack for her trouble, and she tried to not be visibly affected by the hit. With her nose broken and blood dripping from her nostrils, she glared into her opponent's eyes as she would try to hit her opponent into her belly again even as she was struck in the same area.

She would also try to push herself up despite being attacked mercilessly. She planned to change her tactic a little by targeting Korra's chest with a forearm smash, looking to stun her in preparation for her next move.

Korra would slam her fists into Nayla’s belly trying to pound the women’s abs to dust. But despite clearly being busted open it seemed Nayla was finally reaching that place Korra was at and doing her best not to cave to the pain and curl up into a ball, instead glaring dead on at her and trying to work her way into a bigger attack and cut her off with a punch to her abs again. This one Korra took a lot better then the last one before she felt a forearm to her chest that caused her to back up further as Nayla started to try and come up. Though Korra stayed on the attack throwing a punch to her chest.

Right after landing a forearm smash across Korra's chest, Nayla knew that her opponent would continue with her attacks. So, after she landed her hit, she would try to defend against Korra's attack, bringing her arms over her chest to block it. She grunted when her arms absorbed the attack, which hurt them quite a lot. Still, she couldn't stay still while her opponent was still standing.

"RAAHH!!"

Roaring out, the Lebanese would try to nail an uppercut right under Korra's chin, hoping to knock her off her feet and give herself some space to recover.

Nayla and Korra’s fist fight was getting intense as she punched again only to find Nayla’s guard up. This women still had life to spare. Letting out a primal roar before throwing one final punch her way. Korra wasn’t about to take that though her head turned with the rest of her and she avoided it. Then she would throw a fight to her face. If she wasn’t going to take her hits head neither would she.

It seemed that her attempt to land the hit didn't work, though that didn't deter Nayla in the slightest. Despite the pain from getting her nose broken and her throbbing head, she would try to continue attacking Korra with everything she got. She would endure whatever Korra would throw at her before attempting to grab her by her body. From there, she would exert her strength in her attempt to lift her up before throwing her down into the mat, using a side slam on her.
